Premier Inn Durham East hotel in County Durham

This was the usual Premier Inn. Very clean with a comfy bed. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good clean hotel but a little dated. Service excellent, good parking. Easy access to Durham by car

Very nice rooms, modern and clean. The Harvester is literally next door to the hotel. The staff are very welcoming in the hotel and the Harvester and the food in the evening and morning breakfast all you can eat is top notch!! Will definitely stay there again for a work trip.

Decent, but overpriced for my stay

Rooms were clean and tidy, check in was simple and quick, The beefeater I feel is over priced for what I believe to be microwaved food as I had the mixed grill But the service was good and everyone was happy to help with drinks requests in a timely manor

Stay for 2 nights and can not praise the staff enough. Chris in particular went above a Nd beyond. The location was spot on for us with places we needed to be accessible quickly.

Highly recommend! Great location just off the A1M and 8 minutes from the city centre. Speedy and very friendly check in and check out. Clean room and clean bathroom. FANTASTIC BREAKFAST SERVICE FROM JOHN & GEMMA, perfect team! Thank you 😊

Super friendly service in the hotel. Very nice people in the restaurant next door too. My sons request for a duvet was dealt with very quickly and polite service. Made for a very pleasant short stay. Thank you

The rooms need updating. Service is ok. Ok for short visit.

Stayed for 2 nights. Large clean room. There was a mark on a towel, informed the freindly lady receptionist who replaced it straight away and left a box of chocolates in my room, as an apology. The remote control for the TV seemed very delayed! Not sure why. The breakfast and evening meal was good, and served very quickly by very pleasant staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet on a main road. Will return.

Honestly the staff at Durham east have been fantastic, I was due to stay all week but struggled to get the booking due to being dully booked on Tuesday, how're the wonderful lady on reception got me a cancellation and manged to keep me here for the week. The hotel staff smashed it. Next door in the restaurant oh my the staff have been so helpful and will literally go through extra mile for you. I had a off day Tuesday so I explained my circumstances and the staff was very happy to suit my needs and brought mu food to my room for me with a smile. Just before I left I saw the restaurant staff preparing the next seasonal offer and oh my have they blown it away. So proud of everyone here at Durham east you all deserve every bit of credit. Definitely one of my favourite locations across the UK. Thank you see you all again soon xx

Basic premier inn, dated compared to Some other premier inns, tonnes of sockets on one wall, none next to bed where they are required

It is certainly a great location for a Church event that was held at Durham Conference Centre. The Premier Inn is excellent for all round service!

Stayed here twice now, staff are great, helpfull and check in easy and quick. You know what your getting room wise at Premier Inn. But here the rooms look as if they have had better detail done to the cleaning
