A a student who commutes far. This premier inn has been a lifesaver so I can attend events that the University put on. It's in a perfect location with great transport links (I mean its above the bus station, how much better could you ask for?). Booked an accessible room as I'm a powered wheelchair user and it's not very often that I can easily navigate a hotel room, also has a plug socket next to bed so I can charge my chair (I bring an extension so I can plug my cpap and chair in). The bathroom is a good size with two sinks, only tiny small point is the shower corner is small and maybe difficult if you have someone showering you. Having stayed in warm and cold weather the rooms are temperature comfortable. Also there is an assistance cord by the bed and in the bathroom which are always to the ground (where they should be) and there is also a call button which is placed on the bed when you first get in. The staff are always friendly and eager to help.

Convenient location right in the heart of derby. Parking is a shirt walk away, and don't let the fact that the bus station is right there put you off. The rooms are beautifully quiet and the waterside is just a few yards away. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Staff brilliantly helpful and welcoming. Rooms super comfortable and clean. Great value. As usual. Loverly river frontage near bus station, station, and museum of making (silk history).

Great central location close to a very pretty waterway with wild fowl and greenery. Easy check-in, lovely service throughout our stay, clean and comfortable rooms, bar, and restaurant on site. Only complaint was the room toilet paper. Single sheet dispenser of tiny and thin toilet paper. Easy check out.

Nice clean newly refurbished rooms. Although the location is right in the centre but the car access is restricted.

Was a nice clean hotel. Booked myself and my family in using the self check in machine, as I was half way through two receptionist came to the desk and never spoke a word to welcome us or ask if I needed any help, which I thought was abit rude. On our stay we never spoke to any workers at the hotel. We had a pleasant stay for my daughter graduation.

This review is solely based on the interactions I had with one of the team members at Premier Inn Riverlights, not my overall experience (which was not good). Mason is a great member of staff and he deserves recognition for how he helped me. He went above and beyond, even staying on later than his shift end (despite me telling him to go home!). He truly is what customer service should be. I hope Premier Inn read this and take note - Mason managed to make a terrible experience into a positive - this is brilliant customer service.

Really nice family room (double and single bed), clean and tidy (kettle with plenty drinks, hairdryer, extra bedding, brand hand and shower gel,... ) The kid had a nice bed, plenty space in the room to move. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Really good price for the room, better than cheaper chains. The dinner wasn't great, the breakfast was very good, plenty of variety, hot and cold.

The hotel is clean . Food is slightly poor and nothing like the picture .it's gar from beer battered fish . Oven cooked frozen food .but edible .thing that lets it down is the lack of car park and it cost 9 pounds for overnight parking . But if it's shopping you want . There is a large shopping centre on its door step

Early check in was worth the £10 fee, saved us having to pull suitcases around city centre! Family room had everything we needed, maybe could’ve done with a few extra towels but I’m sure if we’d asked at reception we’d have been given more than the 2 that was in the room on arrival for 2 people for 4 days! Location was ideal - beside the shopping centre, bus station and the river. Food was great, teenager was happy with all you can eat ((hot or cold)) buffet which meant we didn’t need to worry about lunch as she was full until dinner time! Huge thanks to all the staff, they couldn’t have done more for us …. We’ll be back in a few weeks

Clean rooms in a good location (literally above the bus stop in the centre). Somewhat understaffed I think as they're was nobody to check in when I arrived about 7pm - neither machine was working so had to wait a while for someone to help me and the queue. Then at breakfast there was just one guy having to run around sorting tables and also getting people signed in etc. Overall room was good - a bit warm but otherwise clean and well layed out, shower was a bit of a dribble and leaked from the hose, but managed a quick shower nonetheless. Breakfast ok, what you'd expect from a PI buffet, better range than some hotels. Overall a reasonable stay while here for one night for work.

Stayed in this hotel many times for girls nights out and last night's stay was as good as ever. Very clean rooms and amazing beds. Excellent welcome from a lady called Pat who went above and beyond her duties. She had great customer service and even remembered us the following day although the hotel was full. A big thank you to Kim for our early check in room. Great goal and fantastic staff. Will be back soon 😉

Attended a Christmas party here. Staff did really well for such a busy period and the food was unexpectedly good (Christmas meals can often be disappointing due to the volumes that need preparing). Well done to the staff. Loses one point for the excessive prices for alcohol free beer.

Great local pub! Always packed in these days of the Cost of Living Crisis! Daz is like an elder brother a real mans Man "Modern man nedds more dirt, and less Oil of Ulay!" is his motto! Very reasonable Beer prices. Carling pint is £3.20 A pool game is on always! Great players attend regularly.
