Excellent staff, I was given a clean and tidy room that that was stocked with good basics, good value for money.

this must have been one of the first premier Inn's to have been built in the country, having had the misfortune to have stayed in numerous around the country, this one feels run down, double glazing that you could swear isn't shut because of the road noise all night, extractor fans in the bathroom that don't work previous guests marks in the bottom of the toilet, to name but a few disappointments. we weren't sure if the bar/restaurant was actually open due to the exterior decor, as for the food avoid any chicken products unless you are planning on a rapid weight loss program....also avoid any draught drinks unless you actually enjoy the taste of cleaning solution.

The staff is very nice, the rooms however were so hot, we didnt sleep at all. We stayed 2 nights (first and last night of our holiday due to the boat trip) and both nights were awefull. So hot! There is a fan, that doesnt seem to do anything. There is a window, that opens a little bit, but doesnt let the hot air out. It wasn't sunny on the day that we arrived, so it wasn't because of the weather. It really needs airco!

Very average accomodation, tired and in need of update. Bed was comfy enough. Bowling Green pub next door is unkept, understaffed and poor service. Don’t set your expectations too high. In fairness to the management, they have said they will look into it when I messaged them!

Fairly reasonable priced rooms and clean. Friendly staff and restaurant right next door. Near a garage and food drive food so plenty of options available locally.

It is located at a service station but unfortunately nothing around other than the vast expanse of fields, which is lovely but difficult with kids.

Stay here occasionally for work because it's location is very convenient. But it's very overdue a refurb, both hotel and restaurant.

Good place to stay. Just check lifts are working, for anyone with a disability.

On our arrival after a 3 and half hour journey we're we was told a £10 charge which we feel is disgusting also am disabled and can't believe there is no lift to go upstairs we found it very dated it needs pulling down and built in a better way as it is really old and worn out so because of these things we just wouldn't stay here again we much would prefer the Holiday Inn they are a bit more money but much better quality and breakfast is included

Always a great place to stay. Very clean, comfy beds, excellent night's sleep. Really needs to have plugs at the bedside, though as this is a bit of a problem charging your watch, phone etc. Nevertheless, I go back to Weeley every time, now.

What they don't tell schools on educational visits, is they don't accept kids debit cards. Not sure if it's they don't accept Mastercard. 🤔

Have visited The Skipper several times now. On each visit the food was good, as was the drinks. The staff were polite enough, however each visit was ruined by the same thing. Very loud, over the top women, normally with children that they cannot control inside or outside of the pub. When eating out with family & friends, I do not wish to hear every detail of what these women have smoked, drank, eaten or who they have knocked out the night before or where they next plan the next tattoo to be placed! I do not wish to hear them announce at high volume every time they are going for a fag, or going to the toilet (though a different phrase was used for that). The staff were ok, but seem quite friendly with these women & the guys playing pool who really do drag this pub down. Language used around their own children is dreadful & ruined every visit for us all. It is a real shame, but we shall not be returning because

Great place to relax and enjoy a drink. Whole place was spotlessly clean with imaginative decor. Staff were friendly and the place has a cool vibe , will be going back soon.
