Pretty much everything was terrible. This hotel is completely dysfunctional and unwelcoming. This is going to be a little long. 1) Months in advance I requested a room with a view of my childhood home (Newmarket Road) and was given a view of a building site. 2) My bathroom was wiped, not cleaned, with splash marks all over the toilet seat and the surface next to the sink (see photos). There were unidentifiable items of residue around the bath tub, and there was a very obvious and large brown double poo-wipe stain on the shower curtain (see photo). I complained after my first night and there were no improvements other than a strong smell of bleach. The stains were all still there. The photos I took were from the day after my complaint. 3) I was turned away from my prepaid breakfast on my third day (the Sunday). Your staff were busy filling up the dining room with unreserved visitors from the outside and asked me to queue behind about 12 to 15 people with nowhere left to sit. This is so utterly unacceptable for a hotel at this price. The dining room is just big enough for the guests, at a push, it is so unprofessional to take outside visitors without reservations and to make absolutely no apology for it. Shoulder shrugging and a gormless half smile is not sufficient customer service when you're letting prepaid customers down. 4) Having been moved to a different room by the manager, I spent my last night in a room with faulty air conditioning which was programmed to turn off after 30 minute timer. I complained to the night manager about it and he was unable to change the settings, he was unfamiliar with the AC. I did my best, I managed to guess the admin code myself (0000...if you need it!) and instead of turning off, the AC moved to max temperature after 30 minutes instead, all night, with no explanation. No program, no timer. I didn't have the heart to complain any more, considering the incompetence of the staff, and I slept miserably in a hot room. 5) the waiting staff at breakfast on my first morning was seriously rude. I requested salt and pepper on my table, and I was answered as follows: "WHAT?? ... WHAT?? ... SALT ??? ON THE TABLE ! " I took salt and pepper from somebody else's table instead of being properly looked after. 6) My breakfasts were improperly registered, as for two people instead of one person. Your desk employee told me that I obviously tried to get a better room by lying about the number of visitors and that it was my fault. He came to me 5 minutes later to admit that it was an error. No apology, just a half smile and a shrug. Seriously people, do you give your staff extra training to be this rude and unwelcoming? I have never hated a hotel so much. I think I could safely estimate that in my professional function I have slept in at least 750 hotels over the last 25 years. Yours is very clearly ranked 750th. For the price, the rooms, the service and the breakfast are all completely unacceptable.

Rooms are overpriced and had a view of construction work. Room had one window which you cannot open. Toilet was disgusting. Car park was always full and if you enter to check for parking spaces, you will receive a parking charge of £57. We were advised by hotel staff that we did not need to pay. I would never return to this hotel and implore everyone to avoid for your own best interest.

Rooms a little tired, found a couple of hairs on my towel and carpet not hoovered. Quite far out of town so about a 25 walk into the centre. A bit disappointing for a Premier Inn

I stayed here from the 23rd to the 24th of May, and I had a lovely stay. The room was clean and welcoming, and the breakfast was hot and very nice. The staff were very accommodating, I had the pleasure of being checked in by Curtis who went above and beyond to help me and answer all of my questions. I was very pleased with my stay and will be back!

No mention of restricted parking forced me to park in the local Tesco supermarket and have to pay an additional £14 for the privilege! After driving for 3 hours, I think that's an extortionate charge and should be them paying me! Nothing worked on reception and it took ages to program my card, and I sensed an unhelpful attitude from the concierge who expected me to use self service (that didn't work) and then gave me a room at the far end of the hotel with a lovely view of... THE HOTEL CAR PARK THAT I CANT USE! I won't use this place again. There's a Travelodge literally over the road that is cheaper.

Not a bad place to stay if visiting Cambridge. We booked early and therefore it was really cheap. It comes with everything you expect from a Premier Inn, copy and paste. It was a 20 min walk into the city centre. Parking onsite was limited, £10 for 24 hours. Apparently there was additional parking across the road at the Tesco store that allows Premier Inn guests to park.

Good premier inn in good location. Small car park behind hotel £10 a nite which is a joke to say you already paid for your stay.have to park at tesco 5 minute walk away if there no space. Over 20 minute walk into town centre. There is a bus stop near hotel we got a group saver (3 people)for £8 lasted all day unlimited bus rides which is very reasonable if you don't like walking to much. WiFi was shocking.

Lovely clean hotel and the staff were lovely. Especially the receptionist (smiley man with the colourful shirt - who we forgot to get his name!). He greatest us with a beaming smile. The next day he was also helping at breakfast. You could tell nothing was too much trouble for him. Hotel was lovely and clean.. we'd opted for the Premier plus room. Could have just done with a few more tea bags! Would definitely stay again.

I had been craving Taiwanese Fried chicken since I'd arrived in the UK and chanced upon the shop while walking around and I'm so glad I did. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy and best of all its halal. There's also other dishes I enjoy such as Korean Army stew, roasted duck with rice and more. I had the fried chicken breast and tropical fruit tea in store and bought wonton noodle soup for takeaway. My new favourite place for sure, if I could I'd eat there everyday.

Visited here with friends on Saturday evening. Ordered mains and starter, though the starters ere forgotten about, our mains were brought out and at that point had to remind where are the starters? Halloumi was feeling nice though and bread and salad brought out. We were rushed to finish our starter with plates taken away as soon as we each finished, and asked before one us finished are we ready now for msin course. Main came out I had the chicken beating asked for chips but hot rice, they brought out chips on asking. Again we were rushed to finish despite restaurant only being half full. They tried to take my friends plate although he hadn't finished it. The mixed grill he had was nice though with the description and price £20 would have expected more meat. Overall food was good, but so cheeky to add the service charge onto the bill. Especially given service was so poor. I would have contested it but my friend didn't want a scene. Shame really as if it was not for that would go back.
