Visited Premier inn Ferndown with the kids for Easter half term. Seriously, this is the best premier inn we’ve visited so far - the staff’s enthusiasm and attention to detail really made our trip. Had a bunny hunt in the room with prizes that my daughter loved. Room was clean and comfortable, buffet breakfast one of the better ones we’ve been to. Cheap and cheery!

Perfect area to catch up with friends. Clean rooms and quiet. Had a complimentary packet of biscuits in the room, which was a lovely thought.

Overnight stay for catching an early flight, the room was spotless and the bed is super comfortable. The lady at reception was very helpful, she arranged a taxi for us. We will use this hotel again.

Everything was fine! Lots of sockets including by each side of the bed. Lighting strip above bed gives a relaxing ambiance. Good location, low key build next to picturesque thatched pun restaurant and quiet despite being very close to Saindburys McDonalds and Lidl. It might be tricky to exit in peak periods, (high summer), unless traffic is queued then it's probably easier.

I did not stay but met up with family who did (they said it was lovely and good price). We met up and had the cooked breakfast which was superb.

The male receptionist was the highlight of our visit, he was very welcoming, entertaining to little ones and very polite on every return to the hotel. Could not do enough to offer advice and help during our visit. The room was the worst premier inn we’ve stayed in, toilet seat not attached, smelt a bit damp in the room, and very noisy neighbours above us.

Sorry to say it was quite a disappointement. Very hot and stuffy bedroom - fan was already in the room. I think the carpet definitly needs redoing as the room smells of feet or sweat... It's a pity because the staff was kind and helpful. I'd say the place definitly needs renovating.

An overnight stop before going to Southampton to go on a cruise. Friendly reception staff. Usual Premier Inn room. No problems, nice Beefeater next door.

I stayed here for two nights with my wife and our six-month-old baby. The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities worked as expected. The staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist us. When I needed an iron and board, they promptly arranged for them. Our baby slept soundly throughout our stay, and they kindly provided a safe cot for her before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, shame there is no cooling system but this is the UK and we don't expect it to be so warm. Receptionist was polite and helpful.

One of the better Premier Inn's. Restaurant staff inparticularly are very good. Only gripe the lack of staff at reception, seem to be AWOL more than present whenever you need someone.

Restaurant was too busy and with a chef down they could not serve me an evening meal on the 1st night even with a meal deal from the hotel! Then I realised the room was missing towels! Soon got my towel from reception

Very convenient location... staff were friendly, professional and courteous... Beefeater food and welcome was great...Unfortunately the room had black mould hidden behind the beds and curtains making the stay very uncomfortable and the overall cleanliness did not meet the usual Premier Inn standard.... Again the staff in the morning were great and asked that I let Premier Inn corporate know... I did.... and for the first time in many, many years of staying with Premier Inn I reported the issues in the hope it would help them address them.....Instead of offering assurances that they would correct the problems, they were dismissive, condescending and inferred I was the problem. So sad...but NEVER again. Customer loyalty is crucial, but customer service by the corporate owners was lamentable.

Attended the Peter rabbit Easter egg hunt, great little event but in my opinion was probably a little bit too over crowded for the little ones. Too many adults drinking their £7.50 ciders taking up all available seating and not paying attention to their children running amok on the bouncy castles. Waited in line for 15 minutes for nipper to get a balloon, but didn't move, didn't see Peter rabbit either.... might have just been poorly timed, but sadly, we left after half an hour, with nowhere to sit to have any lunch. Was really just an excuse for the adults to daytime drink, while their bigger children pushed the little ones away. Having said that, it is a nice pub for food and drink, which we will happily visit again for, but we will avoid any "special days."

I recently visited Joy ferndown and it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of spice. The naan was freshly baked, soft, and complemented the curry perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. For dessert, the mango lassi was a refreshing end to the meal. Overall, Joy ferndown is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I can't wait to return!

Lovely setting but unfortunately the roast was disappointing. Two of the tiniest slices of meat I have ever seen. The Yorkshire puddings were soggy. Sorry. The staff were friendly and attentive but let down by the quality of the roast.
