Sleepless night for £190. Hotel allowed Bracknell Football Club to stay next to a family room. Players behaviour was antisocial from 4am disturbing my family. Multiple players kept coming and going into Room 18. Laughing and talking with loud, heavy beat music playing. Asked them several times to switch off music and keep noise down. Phoned reception at 4am and no answer. Phoned reception again at 5am- finally answered and music turned off. Some chatter continued. Spoke with receptionist in the morning. Their night shift had failed to pass on my complaint from 5am. Reported again in full to receptionist, they told me they had no power to up hold my complaint. The manager was not on duty. They were very sorry and especially as I now had to drive my family home- 3 hour drive with everyone shattered instead of refreshed. Asked for refund as room only cost of £190 should guarantee a peaceful nights sleep. Receptionist gave me a card and told me to leave this review as it will start the complaint process. I request full refund and a review of booking process and duty of care for guests when you host large groups (especially male oriented). I look forward to hearing from you and recommend that Premierinn and your owners Whitbread Plc complain to the board of directors at Bracknell FC over the behaviour of their players. They were playing Merthyr and were beaten 5-1 on the Saturday afternoon.

Lovely clean room as always Comfortable bed Nice clean towels Excellent bathroom and shower Very welcoming staff The rooms are very quiet Negatives No glasses for water in the room just the coffee mugs A little mould on the window frame The bins behind the pub (in the car park) as you arrive at the hotel were overflowing with rubbish and lots on the floor by the bins which is unattractive and not pleasant to see.

Great place for your stay close to Cardiff. It's on the seaside, with a few-min walk to the railway station and very close to food and drink options in Barry.

Absolutely immaculate had a family room with my 2 daughters and auntie. Corey on reception was amazing really positive attitude, always smiling and very attentive couldn’t do enough for you. Corey really does deserve some gratitude given by the powers above. I would defiantly stay there again as we had a very good experience.

2nd stay here and cannot fault the place. All the staff we met including the housekeeping team were all really helpful friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculately clean. The hotel is central for everything, goodsheds over the road are worth a look around. Funfair and beach are within walking distance. Loved that the name of the hotel had been changed for Gavin and Stacey too. Look forwards to staying again

As a disabled person who travels alone it's quite awkward to access the entrances to the rooms. Two heavy doors to open & a narrow-ish corridor plus the room door. The accessible room was nice but because I'd missed the info that said the bed was a lower bed it wasn't as comfortable as non accessible rooms. The shower was lovely, it was so easy & less painful to use than a regular shower, lots of bars to hold onto & a seat to sit comfortably on while showering makes a big difference. X

Ideal place to stay if your in the area, only a 10 minute walk from the sea front, they have a restaurant next door so that was very handy.

We use this hotel as it is convenient for visiting family. It is a premier inn, nothing special but sometimes the prices are ridiculous.

Thanks rooms are very noisy. We could hear every footstep from the room and corridor above. The room however was clean and it is in a good location. We'd probably look for something else nearby next time.

Big room, relatively well kept but what you would reasonably expect for a 3 star hotel. However the staff are brilliant, all very helpful with good/honest advice. I also appreciated the onsite parking and the prime location of this hotel. Excellent for a weekend break.

Me and my husband stopped here as we are big gavin and stacey fans and its near where most of the series was filmed. In my opinion you just can't beat a premier inn. You know there going to be safe and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful with a special shout out to Denise on reception. Honestly our stay wouldn't have been the same without Denise. She is super friendly and took the time to help us and advise us on things wich we really appreciate. Thank you premier inn and Denise for a wonderful stay, we will deffinatly be coming back in the near future.

Big room, clean, good size bathroom. I like that they don't clean your room unless you ask them too, as I prefer to be aware if other people are entering the room when I'm out. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only downside was the hard bed and a too warm double-douvet, and not being able to open the windows. I would not recommend spending money on the breakfast, but that's optional.

Spent a night here last weekend, the room we stayed in was not cleaned properly and we found old scratch cards and medication underneath the sofa bed. The room had not been hoovered thoroughly and there was hair in the sink. Worst of all was the smell, the whole room smelt of sewage for the duration of our stay. Can’t fault staff.

Ian & Jayne Smith. Room 133 Easter Weekend 2024. Just arrived home after spending our 45th Wedding Anniversary at the Premier Inn Barry Island which is far and away the best Premier Inn we have ever stayed at. Our room was immaculate, the staff were superb and very professional. The food at the Brewers Fayre which is a part of the Inn was top notch and the service impeccable, all of the staff were excellent. We were given a free pudding as a gift for our wedding anniversary. We can't praise the Premier Inn highly enough and we highly recommend it as a play to stay..We will definitely go there again.10/10

It's was clean, service at the front desk was great :) Rooms could do with re designing to make space for kids, when we have the typical Welsh rain, but it was great x

Pretty decent Premier Inn overall. Breakfast was good. Room was noisy as it was on ground floor and we had a herd of elephants staying in the room above us. Would book again when next visiting Carfiff for rugby
