Once you find it this hotel is fine, if a bit bog standard. Satnav takes you to a dismal shopping centre car park, not the hotel's! Service was well short of Premier Inn usual standards. Had to wait 5 mins for anyone to appear at reception on arrival. Similar experience at breakfast with no one visible to check us in. Found someone eventually, looking at their phone in the kitchen! The place was anything but busy. The consolation was a cheap price and comfortable room.

Perfectly nice for this price. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The Polish lady in the breakfast room was very nice. The lady that was in the reception in the evenings offered my kid a worksheet to fill in for Halloween and a reward afterwards. The car park always had spaces and didn't feel unsafe. Also, contrary to what someone said, you can't access the rooms or lifts without the key card. The only small complaint is that "continental breakfast" doesn't have much to do with the continent ;) We tend to eat sandwiches with ham or cheese, and not crumpets or toast with jam.

Found bed bugs and caused my whole body with rash. Reception was helpful to arrange another room. A month later, the rash make me itchy and very uncomfortable

I requested a quiet room and was given room 220. Very clean, very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Just what we were looking for in a two night stay. Reception staff were helpful and cheery, breakfast was great and very well organised. Will definitely come back

My family and I stayed overnight after a wedding. The lady in charge was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with things like vegan bacon & sausages cooked up for us on demand. The room was clean and quiet. Will be back :)

Stayed on the 5th and 6th of March- on a business trip. During the entire stay, No internet connection available. The Internet had apparently been down for several days and no idea as to when back online. Guest services waste of time.

Quite possibly up there with the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were due to stay two nights but had to check out after one night, and nearly checked out in the middle of the night. We arrived to a nasty and pungent smell in the room. After raising this immediately with staff, we were told that there were no family rooms that they could move us to. It was empty in the carpark so I can’t imagine that they were at full capacity. We decided to put up with it. At 10:30pm, we were disturbed by the neighbours upstairs (room 210 on 30/03/24) who thought it would be appropriate for their children to jump off the beds. The room was reverberating after their leaps and runs up and and down the room. We reported this to reception because it was waking up our children. Our children were upset because they were woken up by loud and unexpected thumps. Reception had someone stand outside room 210 but you couldn’t hear the noise outside the door room ( as we discovered by standing with the staff member). You could only hear it by standing downstairs under the room. We explained this but there were no rooms we could be moved to (apparently) and our children couldn’t be disturbed anymore so we agreed to discuss this with reception in the morning. We were awoken at 6:40am (after the noises continues loudly until 11:30pm) by the inconsiderate neighbours. We explained our situation to the staff who told us to apply for a refund via the website. It’s ridiculous that we can’t get an immediate refund. It’s suspicious that you have to add everything to an online form instead of getting an immediate refund via the staff you complain to. Never will we step foot near this place again. The staff admitted (after denying it initially) that there was an issue with bad smells in a room. They also admitted noise issues with the floorboards. Given the children being allowed to jump up and down on them, I can see why. The room also wasn’t clean.

Clean and tidy hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and coffee machine was decent. Nice big car park. Handy location for the hospital.

Very basic hotel and below the normal standard I would expect from Premier Inn. Rooms comfortable but very tired, lift not working for duration of stay.( 5 days). Location poor , a Toby Carvey ( again very tired!) Was directly next door but nothing else nearby.

Fantastic location for what i needed. Brilliant size car park. Great sized room. Comfy bed. Good shower, Really nice breakfast with eggs made to order. Chef poached them perfectly. 😋 awesome having a 12 noon check out. Only fault was there was only enough milk and sugar for one cuppa each in the room.

Atmosphere ZERO stars. This review is for Nicky's attention who very likely gets a much warmer reception when she arrives into the cafe than we do. I am only writing this as I no longer have a local cafe which is somewhat inconvenient. I was there with my wife and kid. The usual sit here, don't sit there nonsense we have to put up with everytime we visit. We usually go once a week for a year or more now. We were met by the usual lady who never smiles, always stressed. Told to sit over at the side area. There were two other people in the cafe, otherwise it was empty. All four tables at the main window were free. I asked to sit by the main window and was not one bit surprised by her response "there are only 3 of you" suggesting the window tables are for more than 3 people. She looked away and continued running our sandwiches through the till indicating the conversation on moving tables was now over. I asked if that was a 'no' (we can't move seats), and she confirmed that was the case. She then once again continued on the till. To me, her decision on the seats was for the sake of confrontation only, nothing to do with me or needing tables. We popped in for a family coffee and were met with the usual stress environment. It was her way or the highway... and we chose the highway. We left the cafe for good this time. This has been an issue before and I am not going to deal with this stress while paying top dollar. This is meant to be a relaxed environment, and it just isn't. Bye bye now.

Meh, it's not my favourite but my lovely wife Keith, who is autistic in the foot decided to start licking the walls before one of your employees drop kicked him in his balls (bert and ernie) NOW I CANT GARGLE THEM! Your vindaloo was cheeky though
