Called in to treat family … all agreed we are coming back to this friendly establishment

After living in liverpool for 3 years and not liking the fish and chips up there, this restaurant is now my favourite place! Beautifully cooked fish, chips, sausage and curry sauce! Really nice will be going bk.

A great stop for a mid journey lunch. The food is good.

Our first visit after relocating to the area. Was really impressed with the range of food on offer. Cooked to order, it was really hot and and tasted yummy!

As a stop off it was handy but the food was not the best. The fried fish was a bit slimy and watery and the chips were not great. It was all cooked freshly but the place is a bit grim and basic. Expected for a chippy I guess but all in all for the price it was very average.

Stopped here o. Way back from Manchester for a bite to eat can't fault it lovely food and very quick service

Food was disgusting should have had money refunded as all food was left so expensive and not worth it would not go again and not recommend

Only had some chips, and they were ok.

Staff are so unhappy and chips need to be cooked better. I not saying its is a bad place to eat at but it can be better

Miserable set of people 2nd time I been there and felt the same wont be a 3rd and pricey food. The shop servant was no better.

Love everything about it except the scampi wasn't to my taste not a good quality one but everything else was good,would deff go again but avoid the scampi

Had chicken and mushroom pie with chips , chips were hard , pie crust hard on bottom watery inside , had top of pie some of the chicken a few soft chips rest went in the bin , HORRIBLE wish i hasn't of stopped a waste of money and time ,will not be going there again , much better one in Whitchurch .

Fast service, very friendly. Portion size is just right. I order 2 small fish, I regular fish & 2 portions of chips & it’s perfect

Food OK not the best quite greasy and the batter is not the best, service is however passable. Not much atmosphere in the place,It is however very clean which is it's best feature toilets also very clean.It is quit pricey you don't mind if it's good but it's not that good if I'm being honest.

Nice staff great food toilets need clean n some colour inside the dinning area and a handy shop next door

The food here is always freshly cooked & hot. The staff ate very friendly. The small kebab was huge

Food is good, wide range of meals on offer from traditional fish and chips, to Pizza to kebabs etc. Staff can sometimes come across as quite abrupt but are friendly nevertheless. Prices are good and not above with what you would expect to pay.

Sat outside, after we'd been elsewhere, it was quite a sad time for us, and we remembered this place from a previous visit. The food was hot, flavoursome and welcoming, the tea was nice and hot as well. The food cheered us up ready for the drive home.

Very good fish and chips. Not cheap but better than most and you can eat in as well. Good menu with plenty of choice. Even has a licenced bar.

Good food but can’t say it’s the happiest of places to go for a chippy. Staff don’t seem like they wanna be there. Ideal location though.

Went on a Weds night. Very quiet with spave inside and out. Staff friendly. Food was reasonably good. Overall the atmosphere was a little lacking, but on a different day with more people it may be different.

Really good fish and chips, huge portions, everything cooked while you wait. Although not in town it was doing a continuous trade on my visit, I can see why.

Had the Southern fried chicken box 2 weeks ago, never again, only when I got to the inner meat did I realise that it wasn't cooked properly, blood around the bone, next day I couldn't keep off the toilet.

We all had a 14inch pizza made to order, cooked to perfection and each one is a real big meal. Sit in or takeaway, don't worry if you sit in and can't eat it all, the guy's there will box it up for you. Way the best pizza in Shropshire, we drive 20 plus miles from Cheshire, they are that nice....

Our annual stop for fish and chips when in Whitchurch. Can't fault the food for a chippy, plenty choice for none fish lovers Staff friendly but not intrusive was quite when we went Only downside was the loos

It's a good chippy and always worth a stop. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Very popular with locals so can get busy fast but the turn over for being served is about 10 minutes, and always freshly cooked.

Good stop off place for when you're looking for a chippy! The small fish & chips was more than enough and excellent value at under £4.00. Large clean dining area inside is cool enough during hot weather. But if you want sun there is a decked area at the front, large but needs a bit of a tidy.

Haddock was nice and fresh, the batter was not like you would expect from a fish and chip shop not awful but not the best. Chips were ok. The premises were very clean and tidy.

On A41 found this years ago when going to either Chester , Cheshire oaks or Llandudno steam fair . It's about 1hr from m54 food is cooked fresh and welcome break it beats the usual over crowded places

Didn't eat in so maybe a but unfair on my atmosphere rating, but it was quite and a bit cold (not heat cold, atmosphere, cold). Food was very nice and good helpings.

Stopped at Prees Fish & Chip restaurant/takeaway on the way back from Birkenhead down the A41 through Shropshire, I am glad we did! Pleasant welcome from staff and ordered food from counter. We sat in the restaurant. We had fish,chips and mushy peas and a drink. The food was freshly cooked. Prices are about average and the quality was superb. Lovely chips and a piece of battered cod that was full of flavour. The restaurant was about half full and there was a steady stream of takeaway orders. It was clean and tidy and the toilets were clean too. It is certainly worth a stop, I know we will again. Well done.

Lovely fish and chips, fishcakes and sausages, average prices for a chippy, we have been meaning to visit for many years, now been 2 times in 2 months, it is worth the drive for a lovely meal.

It's so disappointing to see a place with so much potential be so terrible in every sense. Food Hygiene practices appear poor from the moment you walk in to the establishment. This is just pure and simply not recommended

Do not eat at this place there was plastic in the sausage spoke with a member of staff on the phone and was told I'd have a full refund. Went into the shop and was told nobody had spoke to me and refused the agreed refund. I will also be taking this further.

Call in here for chips and curry most weekends fair prices very nice food 😋 you can eat in or eat outside on the spacious decking area if you take the kids on a Saturday you might see the sky divers

Quality food and excellent service

Love this place. Great food but service can be a bit blunt, particularly if you have a miscommunication of your order or if you want to eat in or take away. Or you arrive near to closing times and they happily turn away a good chunk of business. A family of 6 tonight!
