Pound Cafe in Sefton

My first visit to a Pound Bakery cafe and my last! I was in the shopping centre on business and instantly regretted ordering a Coffee as soon as the words came out of my mouth. Lady who served me wasn’t very pleasant and acted like I was putting her out by ordering. Chairs outside were sticky even though it was 9am so the start of the day and the mug I received wasn’t very clean. I couldn’t drink it and walked away after seconds of sitting down. The counter was grubby and not what you expect from a food supplier. I hate writing reviews and not having any positives to share but all I can is…. it was grim

Just wondering why pound bakery cafe don’t do dairy free milk? Given that lots of people are vegan or even lactose intolerant. Lady looked at me like I had grown an extra head when I asked! Also found staff quite rude. Lady in front asked for bread and butter rather than toast with her breakfast and you would think she had asked for caviar. Simple just don’t put the bread in toaster. The staff in the pound bakery shop next door were really nice and friendly. Greggs have little pots of soya milk so it can be done!

Absolutely awful never any plates or cutlery ordered adult meals and comes kids size portions bacon and eggs like bricks just vile

Staff are too busy gossiping amongst themselves to serve the customers then seem annoyed youve come in and theres never card payment working there

This isnt about the pound bakery but there was nothing for the strand... they have moved my favourite massage chair without telling me ... my back is now sore as a result ..

It does what it says above the door , VFM cheap as chips , loads to choose we had the cheese and toast ,egg mayo sarnie ,bowl of chips and 2 mugs of tea - all a fiver £5. Its the future all that is missing is a pound pub ........wishful thinking .

I took my mum here for breakfast it was just what we wanted - cheap and no frills but great for a cheap meal out

Every item on plate was freezing so left it. Coffee might say millicano, but let me assure you... It’s not. Toast was nice... that’s it

Waited 25minutes for bacon on toast went & complained & was told there was no bacon left. Customer service is disgusting won't be going there again

Couldn't believe my eyes when we saw the price, we just had to try out a pastie and to our amazement it was brilliant. The next day we went back and had our breakfast and a lovely cuppa tea. Filled the gap nicely. When in Liverpool again we will definately go for lunch, even if it is served in a paper bag to take away.... Last of the big spenders, that's us.

They don't always have everything in that they advertise and people constantly push in front of you in the bakery The staff are nice tho and it's clean inside If you go the cafe the ques are often very big but this is because of its value for money 💰

Only ordered a bacon barm and it was uncooked, moaning staff and every table was dirty. Could also see the kitchen looked dirty and uncleaned. Would not recommend at all even for a pound.

Really busy tables needed cleaning. Give your a little pot of milk with cup of tea/coffee but not enough in it. Wait a while for order as given a number. They just shout out. Cutlery needs a good clean.
