Pound Bakery in Wigan

Absolutely love pound bakery especially their sausage rolls yummy csng wait to go back and see everyone again

Called in here after having been given a pasty it was so good I had to have another. It. Was at close of the day but the staff were accommodating. Good takeaway food at cheap prices

We have visited this establishment twice now and we will not be going back. Pay the extra and go to a quality pie shop Wigan has no shortage of them.

I don't go there again because the quality has never been great and sometimes hardly any meat at all in your pasty or sausage roll but hey it's cheap.

As it says on the can, Everything £1. Even with this low price, The food is very tasty. My fav. Cheese on toast

What can you say 2 pies or pasties for a pound. Not the greatest quality but not the worst. I usually buy some for the homeless.

If you cant afford Galloways, go here! It is cheap and will fill your belly! good variety of pasties & Pies

cant beat the value for money food and drink usually call here for lunch on the hoof when mrs and myself are traveling of for the day brill

We love the pound bakery,we never go to Wigan without paying them a visit.Lovely fresh food with loads of choice,staff are very friendly. Brilliant value for money just a pity we didn't have them down the south of the country. Definatly would recommend. 😊

Two pasties for a pound. Similarly for sandwiches, cakes and other bakery products. If the weather's good, buy your treat and then go out to the seats outside on the square to eat it.

On a very wet day in Wigan, my Wife, Son and I enjoyed TWO blackcurrant pies, TWO iced vanilla slices, TWO cups of tasty hot chocolate and one cup of coffee and all for just £5 at the Pound Bakery, Market Place. The blackcurrant pies were full of fruit and the pastry was light and tasty, while the vanilla slices also proved to be popular with our Son. Hot chocolates were fine - but the coffee was not the best. However the Pound Baker certainly proved excellent value for money and revived our spirits on a wet day in Wigan.

Went in for sausage rolls. Very average, nothing to write home about. The service was ok and shop layout as expected.

For a quick sandwich or a hot pastie then this is the place to go. They have a good variety of sandwiches and pasties and pies. They also do cakes if you want something on the side. Early in the mornings they also do breakfast barmcakes too. You can also get a hot drink or a cold drink.

Nice pies! two for 1 pound! Staff very helpful and patient! Also there are many sandwiches. I liked the meat and potato very much!

The prices make it perfect for people on a budget but you can tell the taste difference to some of the similar shops in town.

the pound bakery in wigan is great as they have a collage in wigan and students are on a tight budget but never need to go hungry as you can get something to please everyones taste in the bakery and the food is always very fresh

I have visited a number of pound bakeries in the last few years, my most recent being in Leigh. I find that there is always plenty choice available & as the business has grown it has increased the choice of food options available.

There's a vast choice of foods, freshly made, staff seem friendly and the price and offers is always a bonus. It maybe cheap but it's edible

Anytime I'm out and about working and I see a £ bakery I know I'm sorted for some cheap eats which will fill me, never had anything bad from there so I'll carry on going

At two pies/pasties etc for £1 the Pound Bakery is hard to beat. We use these shops regularly and have done since they opened. There may be 'better quality' products in other shops but value for money puts these shops at the top of the list!
