Potion At Afflecks in Manchester

The food selection offers plenty of choice of both savoury and sweet treats. There is something for everyone. I attended for a coffee and tried one of the vegan scotch eggs. I couldn't recommend enough. If you get chance try the potato milk. Has a beautiful mildly nutty flavour. 10/10 couldn't recommend more! Special thanks to Emily your service was amazing. I’ve been going to this cafe constantly for the last year or so and I’ve been so impressed by its combination of cosyness and innovative drinks & food, they really pioneered potato milk which I’m a bit obsessed with & definitely helped me reduce my meat intake & open my mind but in the most gentle of ways, no shaming or guilt tripping going on here, plus they are very eating-disorder friendly which is something I haven’t heard of a cafe being, all within the great indie shopping & experience place that is Afflecks. Plus they are pet friendly & often have a regular who visits with his cat called Ember (The cat in the photo) and because of this they do a sort of secret menu item called an “Ember special” that I recommend that you try! 🙂

This was the loveliest start to our shopping day in Manchester! Such a lovely little cafe, and the food was delicious. Coffee amazing too, with a wide range of options to suit everyones needs. Brownies are also highly recommend. The salt and pepper shakers are shaped as cauldrons and i loved the witchy atmosphere. Definitely go here!!

Ive been to Potion twice in the past month and loved it ! The atmosphere is soo cosy and the staff are always super friendly and willing to help As a budding witch, its always a pleasure to come along and relax here on the vintage couches The food is delicious, especially the blondies ! my only concern is that the breakfast was a little on the cold side and couldve been a slightly bigger portion for the price but regardless, id still come back here !!
