Went to posh paddies after we’d been to see Nathan Carter in the cube, what a brilliant find. The atmosphere was fantastic, the drinks were really reasonable prices and the staff were so friendly, have to give a special mention to Sean who couldn’t have been more helpful. Must also say how friendly the people of corby are. Brilliant end to a great night

Found this place has just gone down hill since being taken over!! Need new staff, so many staff but not sure what they are doing? Need to learn customer service with a smile and not a moan. Can’t believe you can’t attend somewhere now without a lift, seems a bit odd disabled people and elderly have to sit downstairs with no atmosphere and can’t join in..

Food is very good, we had the set Christmas meal. I have visited several times but first time since the change of ownership and the changes are not for the best. I struggled with the bartender dipping the same straw into his mouth then into one of drinks twice, I get he was trying to taste it but this is wrong. The drinks were very sweet and artificial tasting. The smell from the dirty mop at the side of the bar 🤮. Don’t get me started on the music EVERY song sung was the same so you had to listen to the lyrics to work out the song. This place has so much potential so fingers crossed they start to improve

My wife and I had a change of restaurant today and decided to give The knightlodge Corby a go. I had the mixed grill and my wife had rump steak. Wow both were plentiful and tasty. I am a big eater and I found I had to leave some of my meal. Will be visiting again very soon to check more delicious meals.

So much potential, but sadly no where near reaching it. We visited with friends after a show at the Cube. The service is appallingly slow, lacking knowledge on the menu or availability. On two occasions the waitress had to come back to tell one of the party the food she’d chosen was not available, the first one wasn’t even stocked anymore but was still on the menu but no one told the service staff. Ordered drinks and it took the best part of 30 minutes for them to arrive. Ordered a large bottle of Proseccoto be told they only had small, then they found a large bottle, went to order a second one but they couldn’t find another one, they did still have it on the bill (was removed once requested). There is a good selection of food on the menu, all pretty much beige but we were expecting that. The food is basic, and was a bit overdone. There’s an interactive darts game, the lads added it to our bill but within minutes it stopped working. Apparently there was an interactive golf room there too which is now just used as a storage cupboard, again so much potential. If the team had a senior member of staff who takes pride in their work to improve standards and learn the hospitality trade from this place could do well. Hospitality is not easy but when done well, it can still thrive, especially in a prime location. Based on the service we had I’m not surprised there were very few people there at what should be the busiest time. I am usually a fairly generous tipper but we didn’t leave one at all, and that says a lot! We won’t be back which is a shame as we wanted to support an independent restaurant instead of Nando’s next door.

The reason I've only given a 3 rating is because Butterwicks cakes are so sickly. There's way too much butter cream on the cakes. I'm sure the butter cream use to be different. Same as the icing on the doughnuts.very sweet. Also the sponge is very dense and stodgy. I've heard a few people say the same. I loved Butterwick as well. 😕.

Extremely bad customer service. Very rude manager who scolds customers with foul language. At the request of my friend to put the salad in a separate dish, the manager started yelling like a psychopath, he shouted at us that he was not going to put the salad separately from the burger. He insulted my friend so terribly that we were all in shock! I have never seen such rudeness in my entire life. I will never order food from this horrible place again and would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be insulted and yelled in your face!
