Porthcawl Tandoori Takeaway in Bridgend

Staying at Trecco bay , we had a curry delivered, it was lovely , came on time and was very hot and very tasty couldn’t fault it as you can see by my plate

Ordered as a last minute take away because the tandoori restaurant in trecco bay was unable to take orders. It was a great meal. Delivered in 30 mins

Best curry we've had in a long time. Delivered on time to our caravan in Trecco Bay. Very reasonably priced and so delicious. Highly recommend the Captains Pathila. Husband never been so happy as I picked the menu tonight and it was spot on!

Fantastic food and value for money. 4 adults- curry each, Rice, sides dips and nanns £52 so £13 each- bargain. Stayed at Trecco bay holiday park, had it delivered to our caravan door- piping hot. Can’t rate it enough

Chicken madras, naan bread, onion bhajis and popadoms.. £13!!! And it was all lovely. Proper big bits of chicken in the curry, none of these hard chicken squares that most places have. 5 big onion bhajis! Can’t fault what I had. Lovely

Ordered takeaway. Collected after agreed time. Got it home. Amazing large helpings,tasty food. Shop was very busy,lots of customers unable to get through on phone,so came to collect. No wonder. Brilliant, and friendly service.

Excellent service. The waiter Chris couldn't do enough for us and super friendly. 10/10 for the food. The portions are really good more than enough! The restraints really clean and tidy Would highly recommend eating here. The boys behind the bar Connor and another boy were really kind and friendly Definitely recommend this place! Such a nice friendly atmosphere from all of the staff cannot complain about anything!

Service & food both amazing a call out to Chris Mason for being so attentive to our table, we will be back for more. Prices are very reasonable too.

The veggie thali for 2 fed 4 adults and one child and was delicious! Great poppadams and good, fast service. Cash only on collection though if phone order.

They used to knock out tasty food but in the last year something has changed either a new chef or supplier i find the chicken chewy and too much cumin added to he food which messes the taste up.

We had Madhu Murgh and Chicken tikka balti, both nice dishes. Complimentary poppadums and good delivery service.

Another fab take away from here again ,full of meat ,tasty ordered on Fri ,lush ,ordered again to take home on Sunday as so nice 🙂🙂

Having ordered takeaway meals from two other Indian restaurants in Porthcawl over the past couple of months and been a touch underwhelmed, we went for the Tandoori tonight. This was by some distance the best quality food. The Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Balti were excellent. Packed with flavour (the Jalfrezi was enjoyably spicy), and generously portioned, the meal represented excellent value. Complimentary poppadoms were included and delivery costs £1.50. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

I have known the owner of this establishment for about 28 years 😊 what a lovely person he is very professional 🥘 and the grub is always good I have taken a lot of my friends there and they all said the same 😊🥘fabulous food and a very good menu. Yes keep it up ABDUL my friend 😍

We were staying at Trecco bay and decided on a takeaway. We chose a set meal for two with some added poppadoms. OMG i have never been so stuffed and still had LOADS of food left over. Loved the curry and side dishes. Lots of rice and extra salad supplied. I'm sure what we had would have comfortably fed three or four people.

On holiday at trecco bay and fancied an Indian, never had 1 down here before but spotted this 1 so thought give it a whirl ,oh my god did not disappoint, delivery to our caravan was prompt and food was piping hot .the food was absolutely beautiful , my son whose 8 ate every mouthful ( unlike him ) . Would deffo revisit & recommend to everyone

everytime we stay in trecco bay we always use this indian takeaway as their food is excellent and they deliver directly to you caravan/lodge, price is like any other indian takeaway so cannot reccomend enough

Our favourite Saturday treat is always from Porthcawl Tandoori. The best curry takeaway in town. However, they are that popular that sometimes it can take an hour to get through on the phone. My advice is it pop over order direct and then either collect or let them deliver. No one wants miss that Saturday night curry do they ?

Ordered a takeaway here as our usual takeaway was experiencing problems with their internet. The meal looked very nice, and plentifull. However, the abnormal salt content in the rice and one of our meals totally ruined it. I dont like giving bad reviews, but there were 2 dishes awash with salt.

One the best Indian curry's I have ever had we go there all the time for a takeaway takes for ever to ring an order thro but we'll worth the wait

Best curry I've ever had! Chicken Madras had so much chicken breast and it was beautiful. Tandoori chicken just as good. Best Indian take away I've ever had!

Best chicken Madras I've ever tasted! Every meal is cooked fresh and is always delicious. Every time we are in the area we now order at least half a dozen curries to take home and freeze.

Use this regularly. Good value, good food. Cooked fresh while you wait. Patience needed bit well worth it.

Really very good, all round and we ordered for six people. It was delivered to the caravan site we were staying in and everyone was bowled over. It's a shame we don't live in porthcawl!

Descubrimos este restaurante indio después de usar al lado de beale. No deportivas del mundo mejores indio, pero está bien. Tuve un pollo al curry de Madrás, y tenía un montón de pollo. No escatiman en porción de pollo, que era genial. Mi marido tenía pollo tikka kebab. No era tan generoso, pero sabía no está mal, dijo. Nos alojamos en el Holiday Park por la carretera y el restaurante era muy práctico. Personal amable y sirve rápidamente.

Usamos este para llevar mientras aquí en vacaciones. Tuve tamaño pilau arroz con pollo al curry y, pan naan. Me pareció muy deficiente, la salsa curry curry fue una en la que habían sido expulsados de los trozos de pollo. El pollo no había absorbido cualquier sabores o especias era como comer pollo con salsa derramado más listo hacer. No me impresionó. También este lugar Durant tome tarjetas de débito. Sólo en efectivo.

Ah, caramba, me pidió comida para llevar desde aquí temprano en la noche del sábado ido y créeme cuando afirmo que es el mejor para llevar indio que he experimentado.

Este es siempre el mejor curry en Porthcawl y tops los restaurantes también. Las salsas son deliciosas como son las verduras en los platos vegetarianos macizos como es el pollo en macizos de carne. Siempre están ocupados, así que buena señal, pero puede ser difícil de conseguir a través del teléfono

Probé este lugar recientemente y optamos por el pollo Jalfrezi, el menú dice 'preparado con cilantro y verde chilies'. También yo habría esperado encontrar chiles pimientos (rojo/verde) y cebollas. No esperaba encontrar tomates que es la razón por la que pedimos este plato, normalmente si un Chef ha decidido incorporar los tomates es catalogado como un ingrediente en el menú.

i ordered a take away meal to be delivered last night and i must say its one of the best Inidan meals we have had in a long time, delivered quickly and hot, we had 4 different meals with sides and breads etc everyone of the meals was really cooked well plenty of chicken and prawns sauces really nice and not full of oil like some indians, Nan breads where cooked really well and the Mushroom Rice was the best I've tasted, all in all an excellent meal I would highly recommend

Estamos alojados en la bahía donde trecco, la comida no es tan buena, así que muy contentos de haber encontrado este sitio! Grandes porciones. Tuve la parrilla mixta tandoori que era increíble, un montón de carne de buena calidad, recomiendo altamente este lugar!

Just had a takeaway for 4 delivered with loads to eat all for £44! Really tasty food - flavoursome with tender pieces of chicken and lamb. Excellent delivery service too. Highly recommended. Best curry we've had in ages!

I go there once a week for a take away meal. I get a meal for 1 which is £11-50 you get a starter. plus a bag of salad . And a main meal. Plus a large nan bread . All good size portions and very tasty and quick. Really friendly.

Got a takeaway delivered from here yesterday, was very impressed. At least I think it was here, trip advisor have address as john street but Porthcawl Tandoori I found was 1 The Esplanade - had same phone number though, may need updating?As someone before stated they use proper chicken and the bhuna I had was very tasty. Delivered within the hour, as they said.Will certainly be back!

House sitting down Porthcawl over the weekend and ordered from the takeaway to be delivered. Big portions, plenty of meat and piping hot on delivery. Bombay potatoes very spicy!! One of the best Indians we've tasted and shocked (in a good way!) with the prices. Very reasonable. Will definitely try again.

This little takeaway is a gem! The tastiest Indian food I have ever eaten. The staff are friendly and home delivery reliable and usually to time. Portions are very generous and reasonably priced. The only drawback is that it is very popular and often hard to get through by phone. Well worth persevering though Truly the best in town!

We recently had a lovely take away from here on our visit whilst staying with relatives. The food was really tasty and fresh and as there were eight of us we were all pleased with the quality and taste of our food! - worth a visit if in the area!

Fantastic food no matter what you order..the best Indian takeaway this side of the punjab! You need to ring early especially on weekends as those of us in the know are aware...chicken dishes like jalfrezi are stunning...if you order by phone its usually ready to be picked up within 25 mins..well worth the wait for such quality..I can honestly say I have never ever had a bad meal from this place and treat myself and the family at least once a month...a great place..enjoy!

I used to always have a takeaway from the Porthcawl Tandori but not anymore.The last meal I had was cold, tasteless and thrown together,Porthcawl Tandori has got so busy that the food has suffered, more staff and a lookas to why the food is not so good would be my recommendation

I have lived near this Indian restaurant for the passed 7 years and never gone, i now kick myself. service was brilliant and food was amazing, i will now use this place a lot more. well done. Jamie

Whether you like a mild curry or a real scorcher, this takeaway will have something on their menu to suit you - and they will be happy to adapt one of their dishes to your taste. They also deliver locally if you prefer. I lived in Porthcawl for almost 30 years and although other Indian takeaways have been and gone, the Tandoori Takeaway has always compared well. Reasonable prices, consistently tasty dishes and a good choice make this a must if you fancy a takeaway curry while in Porthcawl.

We holiday regularly at Trecco Bay and have previously dined in and had takeaways from a restaurant in the area. But after being dissappointed on more than one occasion decided to try Porthcawl Tandoori. We all tried something different that we wouldn't normally have and it was excellent. Much better than our other experiences. Will be going here again for definite. Prices were reasonable too!!

I had my first takeaway from the Porthcawl Tandoori and really enjoyed it. The sauces were tasty and the chicken was a good texture and plentiful. I would thoroughly recommend trying it.
