Lovely find. Very welcoming & definitely a quirky place (if you don’t like seeing stuffed animals all around, this place is not for you). Food was delicious - between us we sampled quite a few of the dishes. Only takes cash but everything was reasonably priced. £2 corkage fee (per person I believe) if you bring your own wine, otherwise you can order soft drinks. 10-15mins walk from Hammersmith station. There is paid parking outside (free on weekends). Would definitely recommend & will be returning.

Soom of the kitchen smoke comes into the room so you may not like that. Food is extremely reasonably priced and together with the BYOB (at a £2 corking charge p/p only) this makes for a good place for a dinner amongst friends. The decor is also great and would surprise them positively.

Please do not listen to any of the bad reviews. These people ordered take away and were unlucky. I go to Poppy's Thai all the time and the food is SUBLIME.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There was a hair in my food, the sticky rice was hard and un edible, and they put so much chill to compensate for the lack of their tasteless food. The portion size was ridiculous. Truly unacceptable. Threw everything away and wasted 30 pounds. Deliveroo was not able to compensate so I hope the restaurant has the decency to respond to this.

We ordered a take away. The food was really really bland, watery and stodgy. We had a starter of sweetcorn cakes which were very bland, completely tasteless and mushy. Then the tofu mussaman curry did not taste like a curry but like a washed out watered brown coloured soup. The tofu tasted old and rancid and the potatoes that were in there were clearly not cooked with the dish as they were flavourless. Clearly just thrown in. With this we had sticky rice which we could barely digest as it was incredibly stodgy. The only half good dish that we had were the garlic and pepper prawns. We will certainly not be eating here again and wondered whether the staff would even eat this food. There is a much better Thai restaurant in Hammersmith, on Kings Street, than this one.

I have been to all of the Poppy’s. The review counts for all three. You need to know that they are cash only and BYO. The prices are absolutely reasonable and everything I ever tried was fantastic. If you come there with a bigger party and therefore more bottles of booze, they keep it in their kitchen fridge for you so it doesn’t get warm. The interior is special ;) interior wise I prefer poppys 1 (it’s tiny though), second place would be poppys 2 in Fulham (the garden!!!) and poppys 3 is just perfect for also a larger group, as it is the biggest of the three. It is a perfect place for any occasion.

Have been here every weekend for the last three weeks …! Food is amazing, really authentic fresh curries and noodles, great value for money. Funky decor inside and always a good atmosphere. BYOB is also a huge win. I would 100% recommend you visit Poppy’s.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. My friend took me here for the first time two weeks ago and I have been twice more since! The food is delicious and so affordable. The Thai curries are the bomb and they have good vegan options. Service a bit meh but it’s byob so can’t complain

Poppy's Thai 3 is a great and particular restaurant close to Hammersmith. I found it very interisting, it has numerous different types of animals in the walls, a giraffe with a hat, weird paintins with chubby women and all these elements give an interesting atmosphere to this place. The food is very good, verry well made and I cannot rally understand the critics of a few reviews. Poppy III offers thai and cheap eats with quality. The only negative aspect of this plase is > cash only > no receipts > no transfers or use of cards.

I went there asking for a quote on a set menu for 30 people! Empty resto - not a soul in there quoted a figure asked for a deal and manager would not budge! What a shame! Won’t be recommending for any celebrations!!

Beef curry tough as old boots, rice a solid congealed gloop . Vegetable Pad Thai lacking in vegetables and over sweet. If you want volume you will get it, otherwise order from somewhere else.

Came here for a meal. Recommend the stir fry with duck and cashew nuts. Very nice. Cash only here. Reasonably priced. Good selection of starters and mains. You can bring your own alcohol if you want to which is £2 per head to have your own.

The Thai style cooking comes in sharing plates of reasonable portion size and for a table of 7 each dish was enjoyed by all including couples who are well acquainted with Thailand. There are several different seating styles throughout the restaurant and the decor keeps the eyes moving and is quite a talking point. Service is efficient and they cater to large groups through to tables for two The BYO is a plus at £2 a head, Cash only and definitely book ahead. This is a busy place. Very good value for money and no corners cut on quality

Love this place. Much more spacious than the other poppy's. Advisable to book a table in advance here. You can bring your own drink as well which will cost you £2 per head on top of your meal. The food is good sized portions and very reasonably priced. The decor is unusual but still kind of cool at the same time. I'd definitely recommend a meal here if you're in the area.

My friend and I used to dine at this branch of Thai Square before it closed and so we were delighted to see that it had recently reopened. We enjoyed our dinner last Friday evening after work and will definitely be back again. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food delicious. I had the Thai cakes to start which were fresh and zingy with extra spice oil to add which I did! Then I had the Weeping Tiger and my friend had the Pad Thai. A lovely place to catch up after a busy week, we'll be back.

Lovely food. Gorgeous room and (slightly) brusk owner but would return. Went with my niece and had Brocolli to start, spring rolls and a papaya salad, pad Thai and a curry were out mains. All very tasty. Good portion and excellent price in the middle of London. Would recommend.

It doesn'tt look great from the outside but inside you'll find some of the best original Thai food that I have had in London. Simply delicious. Very friendly staff and cheap. A hidden gem.
