Authentic Thai food. I’m very happy they didn't put the onion into Pad Krapow. But when I came the second time it seems not as spicy as before.

Phenomenal. Thai is my favourite food and I reckon this is the second best Thai meal I've ever eaten (sorry guys, Farang in Highbury is almost unbeatable.) Crispy fish salad was full of sour, punchy, spicy deliciousness. Don't stick to just curry and pad thai, go off-piste and you'll be delighted.

One of the best Thai restaurants in West London. Great service and more importantly the food is top notch. The menu is wide ranged incl special dishes from the north and you will find most of your fav Thai dishes. The steamed fish, isaan sausages, grilled chicken, grilled pork are all highly recommended.

Not the fanciest looking place but who cares when the food is this good and authentic. Has some different dishes than the usual Thai restaurants as well as the old classics. Very flavoursome and the service was friendly. Definitely some more dishes on the menu I'd like to try if I went again.

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in London. Highly recommended Very authentic and delicious - finally it’s not just sweet chilly. This is proper heat 🌶️ Tried both soups, they are nice. I prefer Tom yum soup, the sour and spicy combination was amazing My favourites are catfish (dry & spicy), fish salad (spicy & sweet) and dessert Auntie’s special chicken curry was really spicy (after the chief reduce the spiciness) but yummy! The fish curry was nice, but because mackerel is fishy fish, I found the curry was not for me Tried boat fried rice for first time then went for sticky rice last time - both went well with dishes

Really authentic Thai restaurant. Far better than any Thai restaurant we've been to in the US (except maybe the Michelin starred Kin Khao, but I honestly prefer this place over that). My only complaint is that their chicken is very overcooked.

We recently had lunch at 101 thai kitchen. While the place may not be fancy, but the flavourful Thai green curry (both veg and chicken) makes it a winner. Quick service and reasonable prices for a simple, satisfying meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in London. Today was the 3rd time I went there and I had the 'plaa nueng se eew' (steamed whole sea bass in a hot pot with ginger, mushroom, salted bean, spring onion and light soy sauce, finished off with sizzling hot sesame oil) served in a fish-shaped platter. The sea bass was well-cooked and delicious. I also tried the 'mee gati' (stir fried rice vernicelli noodle with prawns in Auntie's homemade red chilli coconut sauce). It was very aromatic. For dessert, I had the 'jewels of Siam' (a mixture of exotic fruits in sugar syrup, home made 'rubies' and jelly, served with sweet coconut milk and rice). One of the best desserts I've ever had. We paid £30 pp (we also had a starter and a cup of tea each).

Very poor environment comparable to the modest neighborhoods of Thailand on the outskirts. Good cuisine, fresh original ingredients, original flavour. Very high price for the quality of the location and room service.

Nice service, the place is quite small and there is often no place to sit because there are many people, so I used take away. I must say that the red curry with rice is amazing! I always come back for this. Pad Thai is good, but not the best I've ever eaten. Affordable prices, waiting time is not that long. I can't wait until I'm in the area again to eat this red curry or try something new!

We had a good experience here the other night, but we were not blown away. Good, solid food, a very nice staff, and decent prices, though portions were quite small. There are so many Thai choices in the Chiswick/Hammersmith area, so we will try some other places next, but we may return and just order some different dishes to see if we have a better experience. Still a 4 star place, so if you are in the area and want to try a small family run place, it would definitely worth a try.

Food here is simply amazing. Lots to choose from and all incredibly fresh and tasty. It feels like going on holiday having a meal here. The soft shell crab curry is always a winner.

We ordered soft shell crab curry because of the good review - really disappointed with this. It was overdone with turmeric. Seafoods are also not fresh in the salad. Fried morning glory is only one of all dishes we would recommend.Steam rice is hard and coconut rice is sticky as too soft. We went there on a busy day so this might affect the quality of food. The staffs are also not very friendly and the way they treat customers are not very welcoming. Apart form the fact that they did not ask for a service charge, I am not happy win the food and service.

We were recommended this place by a friend and are so glad we came. We all agreed the food was the best Thai food we’ve had (outside of Thailand!!) and the menu is really extensive. Highly recommend the Phuket style stew pork belly in five spice sauce (on the specials board) which was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. The fish salad was also incredibly aromatic and a memorable and unique dish. Thank you so much for such an amazing meal. We will be back :)

Dos amigos tailandeses que había hecho durante mi encierro me recomendaron 101 Thai Kitchen; describieron la comida como "tan buena como se puede conseguir fuera de Tailandia". ¡No estaban exagerando! Seis de nosotros reservamos una mesa un lunes por la noche y tuvimos la mejor comida que recuerdo en mucho tiempo. Mis amigos tailandeses pidieron tantos platos para que todos probaran que me sentí obligado a probar todo, ¡y lo hice! Aunque no soy vegetariano, normalmente solo como pescado pero en esta ocasión lo probé todo y cada plato fue una delicia de sabores. El restaurante en sí tenía un ambiente realmente agradable con una decoración bastante típica de un restaurante tailandés, limpio, organizado y sencillo. El personal era encantador y trabajó duro para mantener su distancia. Desearía tener algo negativo que decir sobre este lugar para dar un poco de equilibrio a mis comentarios, pero no es así, fue una comida fabulosa y por primera vez en muchos años comí demasiado.

Fresco, sabroso, aromático y especiado, preparado y cocinado con una mano experta. After reading positive reviews So this place, we decided to drive down and have a try. 1. Friendly place. Not really. No greeting, no smiles. Borderline unfriendly. 2. Speed of food. Some starter arrived after 20 mins or so flooded by the rest after a further 20 mins. Terrible. Again, no smiles at all. After 1 hour, two of the mains arrived including the rice which was actually hard at the ends. Seemed old. We had to bring this up with the waitress who just took it away after seeing that the rice was hard. Agin no apology etc. The rest of the food failed to turn up after another 15 mins, so we had 2 cold curries and that was it. We then could t wait for this disaster of a meal any longer and asks to speakers to the manager. We were told there was no manager. We then decided to leave, we realised that this disaster was beyond repair. No apologies, no attempt to fix and no explanation. We just left what little sub par food had arrived untouched as it was terrible. This is an honest review and we just couldn’t believe it. We felt very unwelcome at this place and certainly willnever return. I don’t know how this place has received any positive reviews. Avoid at all costs

Easily the best pad thai in London. Lunch hour specials are cheap and filling. Definitely worth going.

My partner and I live 15mins down the road from this restaurant. It doesn’t deliver so we phone in to collect take out. Sometimes we can’t get through on the phone so we have to make the order in person and wait on the premises for the food to be prepared. Although this isn’t particularly convenient, and it is frustrating when they don’t pick up, we have never been let down by the food. Authentic Thai dishes prepared to perfection. We are hooked.

With a Thai restaurant at almost every corner you are spoilt for choice in West London. We really liked 101 Thai for it’s authenticity and the selection of Northern Thai dishes which are not as common as the standard green curry. Unfuzzy pink decor, quick and friendly service, not too busy (we were the first customers on a Thursday at 6pm) so you can focus on the simply delicious food, all 101 different dishes. We enjoyed our small sample of stir fried morning glory (perfect with a little bit of bite), Tom Sum fish sauce and Corncakes and absolutely loved the curried softshell crab. We have to come again and again to try the remaining 97.

Went with 2 children age 11 and 12 to try "authentic" Thai (north-eastern) food prepared and presented by Thai family according to website - Wednesday lunchtime in half term holiday approx 1230 - greeted by 2 females of Thai appearance younger showed us to a table - there were plenty but it became over half full - and older mainly kept behind reception desk. Fairly simple straightforward design of interior with the bright pink colour theme and plenty of Thai nick nacks and wooden tables and chairs - not too fussy or fancy or luxury. Hopefully the focus is on the food. Well yes and no. Daughters had pad Thai veg and chickenspicy stir fried. The pad Thai had a worrying abundance of sweet chilli sauce running thru it, chicken noodles was definitely spicy with chillies. Daughter didn't like plentiful sliced onion in dish so I had it. I enjoyed my Isaan sausages on sticks (sai krok a staple street food) served with sliced ginger and coriander leaves and peanuts and small green chillies (normally it is served with sliced raw white cabbage leaves). The "khaep mu" fried pork scratchings that I thought would be a nice light authentic Thai fried pork rind that you can get all over northern Thailand was just plain old bought in pork scratchings - disaster. We enjoyed green iced tea and iced coffee. And there was also a small tray of small veg spring rolls that the children enjoyed. So overall not bad for lunch at just over eleven notes each we would go back to try other things may be guided by the staff for home made treasures.

Decided to go here on an off visit to Chiswick, what a surprise. Most authentic thai in London. Sweet and sour fried fish and yellow soft shell crab curry just hands down mind-blowing. Careful its spicccccyyyyyy!!! Go - infact RUN its that good!!!!

I love thai food but have struggled to find anything much beyond average since moving to London from New York...that is until I came here! Food is incredibly authentic, flavors are incredible and I wanted to literally lick the plates after we finished. Will definitely be going back soon.

I really like coming here and would love to make this my local. They serve great authentic Thai food at great prices. We ordered pad Thai, beef curry, soft shell crab som tum and sticky rice between the two of us. The bill came to about £38 and we could barely finish the dishes.

Que la comida de este restaurante es bastante buena y sabrosa. Porque teníamos un enorme almuerzo en el día, así que mi esposa y yo decidimos tener una cena ligera. Encontramos este restaurante bastante lleno de gente local tailandesa, así que deduzco que la comida tailandesa sirven debe de ser bueno. Pedimos un curry verde de gambas, verduras fritas verduras campanillas y arroz de coco. Que estaban bien preparados y bastante sabrosa. Cerveza tailandesa también es buena, con el calor de Londres.

I have been here many times, not just for the really cheap lunch deal but for supper as well and as somebody who travels to Thailand as often as I can, I got to say this place is just great. I crave the smells and flavours of Thailand all the time so I come here to help me stop missing Thailand!

Despite being shabby and no chic from the very early days, we were willing to revisit because the food were great. Our last two visits, a month apart in Feb and March this year concluded that it was time to move on.

Frequented this restaurant about a month or so ago and was really impressed. There were four of us, and we ordered Tom Yam Kai for starters which was lovely. It had an authentic taste to it which set the tone for the rest. We followed that with a Papaya Salad, Massaman Curry, Pad Thai and some Fried Rice. The portion sizes were generous and the taste was delightful. We even had one of the chefs come out and talk to us about how they make the food and what went into the preparation etc.

We have been to 101 many times despite the very solemn service because the food was so good. Now you have solemn service and inconsistent food. So a no win situation. Maybe owners not really concerned as regulars will go anyway. A pity.

Vine aquí ayer para el almuerzo y la orden equivocada fue entregado curry de pollo en lugar de carne, entonces volví con carne roja poco hecha con sangre en la parte superior. Me lo mandaron de vuelta y simplemente preparados de carne poco más y regresó con la misma salsa que ahora estaba fría. Experiencia terrible, así con hambre. No había disculpa del personal.

Il posto è piccolo, a conduzione famigliare ma che é trascurato lo vedi da quando entri, con centraline elettriche e fili sparsi. Dentro fa caldo. Non è un buon biglietto da visita. Il servizio è disorganizzato, di quelli che vedi in TV in "Cucine da incubo". Per una coca cola abbiamo atteso 20 minuti e richiesta a più personale differente. Nel menù sbiadito unto e scollato non ci sono le indicazioni per capire se un prodotto è fresco o surgelato, e a domanda fatto dal personale ci è stato riso in faccia con susseguente storiellina di come loro lo comprino fresco e poi lo congelino loro. Avranno l'abbattitore? I bagni sono microscopici, l'igiene latente. Dopo questa presentazione capirete che è inutile che vi parli del cibo, e che friggono quasi tutto: di solito anche il cartone fritto é buono. Ho scelto il piatto più semplice, ossia riso con polpa di granchio. Mi è rimasto sullo stomaco ed era talmente insapore, la polpa di granchio avrebbe potuto essere qualsiasi cosa, neanche ben contrastata con del semplice aglio e prezzemolo, che ho dovuto chiedere della salsa fatta con soia e cipolla all'amico con cui ci siamo seduti a tavolo per insaporire il tutto. Punto a favore: prezzoPunti a sfavore: cibo scadente, mancanza di pulizia, caldo umido, disorganizzazione.

Fantastic visit on a very wet June evening. Thai food generated from this area of Thailand is not the norm in London, Thai restaurants, so it was great to go to this restaurant which had been recommended to us. Food is a little spicier than the normal Thai and is very, very good. So excellent that our plates were cleared, in minutes. Great service, great ambience and a Thai restaurant half-full with Thai customers can only be a good indicator of how good it is.

We eat here from time to time (4 or 5 times a year). It has always been excellent and the green papaya salad is the best we have had outside Thailand (it's pretty hot so be warned!). We also rate the crispy sea bass, soft shelled crab, pad thai and all the staples. Personally I think the prices for the quality are very good. No frills, more café style but we go to eat well without any undue fuss.Nice to see that Thai and South East Asian people are regularly eating here - generally a good sign, althoughthe other night we couldn't get in as there was a huge party of them in there!

I was missing Thailand and its food quite a bit, I had the most authentic som tum I have ever had in the UK. The service was fantastic, I definitely plan on going back.

I work down the same road and myself and my colleagues are probably here once a week or sometimes more. The food is absolutely delicious. However sometimes unfortunately the staff can very rude and unwelcoming. Which is a shame due to the fact we are such regular customers.

I have been here twice as it's the nearest I've found to the food you find in Thailand. The staff are Thai and very helpful in helping you with the menu.The menu is plentiful as are the dishes! There is a grand selection of soups, noodles, curries, grills, Thai drinks and amazing Thai deserts. I found the price very reasonable and ypu won't leave feeling hungry. Am excellent Thai experience without a flight to Thailand. I'll be back!

Used to be a very, very good Thai restaurant, but its gone down hill in the last year or so - new owners? I used to go here once a week and then stopped as the food got worse, plus its freezing in there with no heating on (its always been a cold place tbh) Went last week and it was not good at all and the prices are far too high for the lack of quality. Sadly I wont be going back.

Always stop by if I'm in the area. Nice services & good foods. Best of all they're super fast on any order. Fish is always fresh. Price is reasonable. Call for reservation if you can to avoid long line during dinner hours. Hope this will help.

Absolutely addicted to this place. Their Green Thai Curry is the best I've ever, ever eaten, although quite fiery (you can ask for a milder version without chillies) I find myself on their doorstep regularly. Weekends, expect to wait for a table, be assured the wait is worthwhile. Good quantities, good food and amazingly attentive staff. A real locals favourite. My only issue is that they don't open until 6pm in the evening, which in my opinion is way too late. Many afternoons have been spent clock-watching until they open.

This is what I imagine real Thai food to be like.I have never been to Thailand and to be honest have never wanted too but have enjoyed many Thai meals in and around London.This knocks the socks off anything I have had elsewhere.Fragrant and super spicy.For Thai food this is a must try.I will be back.My only complaint is that the staff kept trying to rush us but once they calmed down on that point it was an amazing place to eat.
