One of the tastiest Thai joint in west London! Loved the flavours on the jumbo king prawns. It would’ve been even better if they had more vegetarian and tofu dishes. Will definitely go back!

Bold and flavourful Northern Thai cuisine in London! Everything I had was rich, aromatic and deeply flavourful, with a pleasant kick of chilli that made every bite deliciously satisfying. Overall, highly recommend this local spot and I will definitely come back for more!

Great local spot - a little taste of Thailand in West London. This is very authentic Northern Thai food with fresh and delicious seafood specials. I had the sea bass and pad kaprao. It was really flavourful and reminded me of the food I ate in Thailand. The staff are friendly and really hospitable. Looking forward to eating here again soon!

Astonished by the ratings this restaurant has, but it is miles away from anything you would expect from a 4 point something restaurant. The portions were ridiculously small, we came in and left pretty hungry, so we had to grab some food elsewhere later on. We ordered two different dishes and they wouldn’t have been even the size of one dish at most of the restaurants that I’ve been to in London even. Staff was pretty friendly, has to be said, but doesn’t make up for the all in all average Thai food in small portions for a far too high price. I’ve skimmed some reviews from earlier days and it might be really due to them having a new menu. If that’s the case I’d highly recommend the owners to change it back. Cheers

Cozy family restaurant with authentic Thai food. It was delicious, homemade and with incredible flavors. My children ate wonderfully and the staff was very friendly and attentive, both with them and with us. There is non-spicy food. Spicy food is delicious and full of nuances. If you choose spicy food, I recommend a cold tea with milk to offset the spiciness. It is the best Thai restaurant I know.

Changing my review of this place after my recent experience. The menu has changed massively and now it seems the portions are tiny and the prices are high. The quality has dropped, so has the service and the flavours aren't there, really disappointed. The pork was dry, the prawns were overdone. Used to really like this place but won't be returning. ---- Really amazing Thai food, particularly the seafood - the catfish and crab were sublime. Lovely staff, clean toilets, highly recommend visiting this place! Loved it

I don't know how this place has such a high score as this would have be the worst Thai meal I've ever had in my life! As a big fan of Thai food and always my go to food for eating out, I've never experienced such mediocre bland food until visiting here. I ordered the massamam curry with chicken. I've never had this dish with boiled baby potatoes served whole. Usually this dish is served with cubed potatoes. To me this was just pure lazy. The sauce was an underwhelming taste, with no veg or peanuts, just onions. The chicken was not breast meat and was pieces of I assume thigh meat with the fat and skin included. Which is absolutely disgusting. No one came to check if the food or if everything okay. I picked around the chicken eating what I could of it, but the presentation was just so off putting. When the waitress came to collect the plates I mentioned my chicken in my dish was disgusting and not breast meat as advised. She rudely told me well I ate it. I explained that no one came near us throughout the whole meal to check if everything was ok. Apart from that, my friend and me were the only two people in the restaurant at this time. There was no apology and I told her to make sure and give the chef my feedback. Again she said you ate the food and should have said before now. I wasn't looking for discounts I was just giving my opinion on the quality of their food. I didn't eat all the food and my plate was full of chicken skin and fatty bits of meat. Absolutely vile food and one rude young waitress. I don't know what they're adding to the dishes, but it gave me serious heartburn which I still had the next day. There are much better restaurants in the area. To be charged £16 for a massamam chicken curry with sticky rice that was boiled in a bag is an absolute joke. Highly disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth!

We visited for dinner on a Saturday. It’s a small place, seating perhaps 40 covers or so, and it was surprising to see quite a few occupied tables when we arrived at 6:15pm, just 15 min after they opened (it was totally packed by the time we left). The decor is very simple, it almost felt like a canteen with a TV in the background playing back Asian cooking shows. We were 2 adults and 2 young kids and ordered the prawn crackers, chicken satay and veg spring rolls to start, followed by the red chicken curry, Pad Thai, grilled beef, Tum Thai salad, an omelette and some rice. The starters were pretty standard, but things took a step up with the mains. Their red curry was excellent, as was the salad. The Pad Thai as well was surprisingly good. We can handle our spices and did enjoy the heat levels on a few of the dishes. Dessert options didn’t look great so we skipped it. Service was friendly and the meal moved at a reasonable pace. The bill came to £115 before service of which £25 was spent on drinks, which felt very reasonable for the large meal that we had. I’m definitely coming back and would love to try out some of the more authentic and spicier items on the menu next time. A strong 4 star on the food with value for money nudging them up to a 5 star rating overall…

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in London. Highly recommended Very authentic and delicious - finally it’s not just sweet chilly. This is proper heat 🌶️ Tried both soups, they are nice. I prefer Tom yum soup, the sour and spicy combination was amazing My favourites are catfish (dry & spicy), fish salad (spicy & sweet) and dessert Auntie’s special chicken curry was really spicy (after the chief reduce the spiciness) but yummy! The fish curry was nice, but because mackerel is fishy fish, I found the curry was not for me Tried boat fried rice for first time then went for sticky rice last time - both went well with dishes

This is one of my favorite restaurants in London. Today was the 3rd time I went there and I had the 'plaa nueng se eew' (steamed whole sea bass in a hot pot with ginger, mushroom, salted bean, spring onion and light soy sauce, finished off with sizzling hot sesame oil) served in a fish-shaped platter. The sea bass was well-cooked and delicious. I also tried the 'mee gati' (stir fried rice vernicelli noodle with prawns in Auntie's homemade red chilli coconut sauce). It was very aromatic. For dessert, I had the 'jewels of Siam' (a mixture of exotic fruits in sugar syrup, home made 'rubies' and jelly, served with sweet coconut milk and rice). One of the best desserts I've ever had. We paid £30 pp (we also had a starter and a cup of tea each).

There are so many Thai choices in the Chiswick/Hammersmith area, so we will try some other places next, but we may return and just order some different dishes to see if we have a better experience. I had sampled the food of this restaurant a few months ago at the Thai Festival in Kings Cross Coaldrops Yard when I thought that of the several stalls in attendance - theirs was the best food. I'd been itching to come back here but it's a helluva long way from where I live so when I happened to be in the Gloucester Rd area I took the opportunity to take the journey up the Disctrict Line, to Stamford Brook, and then another five minutes, to this restaurant. So the bottom line is that the food here is great. I recently also visited Supawan Thai Restaurant in Kings Cross - and the two could not be more different really, which is testament to how diverse and rich Thai food can be. Certainly one difference is that 101 features more northern Thai food than Supawan - but even comparing the southern Thai dishes is interesting as they're quite different. The standout dish at 101, to me, was the pork curry called gaeng kua. Goodness me, that dish, so tangy and rich, is something I could eat forever. The beef gaprow was nice and spicy and the prawn pad thai was decent too although the green chicken curry was a little watery. The other main difference between Supawan and 101 is that the latter is far far cheaper - substantially so. Certainly I'd love to go again but of course it's very far from me so it may not be that soon unfortunately.

Fried morning glory is only one of all dishes we would recommend.Steam rice is hard and coconut rice is sticky as too soft. We went there on a busy day so this might affect the quality of food. The staffs are also not very friendly and the way they treat customers are not very welcoming. Apart form the fact that they did not ask for a service charge, I am not happy win the food and service.

Fast becoming my favourite Thai restaurant in London to date! We ate here for the second time the other night, and it left my soul feeling fed for the week. The first time we came, for my birthday a few months ago, we ordered more of their Isaan dishes (laab, nam tok, etc.), which were all vibrantly seasoned and had a good level of chilli heat. I'd also noticed that they had a 'Southern' section in the menu, though, and had been itching to come back and try some of it ever since... It did not disappoint! The fish curry was as fiery as advertised, but with a slightly sweet coconut creaminess at the start followed by an amazing peppery-herbal rootsy depth that reminded us a little of Balinese cuisine. After a day spent wandering around in the cold, it certainly warmed us up. The pork belly, meanwhile, provided just the umami kick I was looking for, shrimp paste and sator bean riffing off one another to create the kind of intriguingly funky groove that keeps you coming back for more. What's more, the warmth of the lovely staff and the whole vibe of the place has been consistently welcoming and cosy across both our visits so far 💕 Worth travelling across London (or even further!) for, and certainly somewhere we'll be coming back to soon! I've already got my eye on their catfish stir-fried w green peppercorn, and their home-fermented fish/ribs/other meats mentioned on their IG sound too interesting not to check out...

What a disaster if an evening. After a promising start with a very pleasant young waitress taking our order it all went rapidly downhill. Firstly, after confirming our order with us, the starters got mixed up and only one turned up.... OK, so mistakes happen. Secondly, after a wait of 90 minutes 1 main meal arrived with 2 portions of luke warm undercooked rice. Despite requesting our second main 3 times it didn't turn up for 15 minutes. By this time we were totally fed up and decided enough was enough, the young waitress was very apologetic blaming the high numbers of deliveroo orders causing confusion in the kitchen. The senior member of staff then blamed the inexperience of the staff. Whenever the truth is, please don't waste your money or time at this shambles of a questionable effort of a Thai eatery.

Soon after lockdown, like most other people, I was keen to go out for dinner. Two Thai friends I had made during my confinement recommended 101 Thai Kitchen; they described the food as 'as good as you can get outside Thailand'. They were not exaggerating! Six of us booked a table on a Monday evening and had the best meal I can remember for a long time. My Thai friends ordered so many dishes for everyone to try that I felt obliged to sample everything, and I did! Although I am not a vegetarian, I only normally eat fish but on this occasion I tried it all and every dish was a delight of flavours. The restaurant itself had a really nice atmosphere with fairly typical decor of a Thai restaurant, clean, organised and understated. The staff were lovely and worked hard to maintain their distancing. I wish I had something negative to say about this place to give my feedback some balance but I don't, it was a fabulous meal and for the first time in many years I ate far too much.

This plate disappointed me, the rice was not cooked properly, they added a sauce that made everything black, only two prawns, 4 little pieces of squid, anything else. Terrible. The service could be much better. The place is nice but the food in my opinion is not their best. I have been to Thailand many times and my partner is Thai.

Having lived in Thailand for many months, this stands out among several notably good Thai eateries in West London. Fresh, flavoursome, aromatic and spiced, prepared and cooked with an expert hand. All the favourites are here and are so delicious it is hard to deviate from these but well worth it when you do. We have been coming for many years and just love the food, authenticity, atmosphere and having Thai tv on it the background! Booking is pretty essential unless you get lucky. After reading positive reviews So this place, we decided to drive down and have a try. 1. Friendly place. Not really. No greeting, no smiles. Borderline unfriendly. 2. Speed of food. Some starter arrived after 20 mins or so flooded by the rest after a further 20 mins. Terrible. Again, no smiles at all. After 1 hour, two of the mains arrived including the rice which was actually hard at the ends. Seemed old. We had to bring this up with the waitress who just took it away after seeing that the rice was hard. Agin no apology etc. The rest of the food failed to turn up after another 15 mins, so we had 2 cold curries and that was it. We then could t wait for this disaster of a meal any longer and asks to speakers to the manager. We were told there was no manager. We then decided to leave, we realised that this disaster was beyond repair. No apologies, no attempt to fix and no explanation. We just left what little sub par food had arrived untouched as it was terrible. This is an honest review and we just couldn’t believe it. We felt very unwelcome at this place and certainly willnever return. I don’t know how this place has received any positive reviews. Avoid at all costs

My partner and I live 15mins down the road from this restaurant. It doesn’t deliver so we phone in to collect take out. Sometimes we can’t get through on the phone so we have to make the order in person and wait on the premises for the food to be prepared. Although this isn’t particularly convenient, and it is frustrating when they don’t pick up, we have never been let down by the food. Authentic Thai dishes prepared to perfection. We are hooked.

With a Thai restaurant at almost every corner you are spoilt for choice in West London. We really liked 101 Thai for it’s authenticity and the selection of Northern Thai dishes which are not as common as the standard green curry. Unfuzzy pink decor, quick and friendly service, not too busy (we were the first customers on a Thursday at 6pm) so you can focus on the simply delicious food, all 101 different dishes. We enjoyed our small sample of stir fried morning glory (perfect with a little bit of bite), Tom Sum fish sauce and Corncakes and absolutely loved the curried softshell crab. We have to come again and again to try the remaining 97.

I can not understand any review that slags this place off! I love to slag a restaurant off but this is hard to find fault in. I have been 150 times + over 12 years. Recently they put their prices up and still best value! So well priced!

Went with 2 children age 11 and 12 to try "authentic" Thai (north-eastern) food prepared and presented by Thai family according to website - Wednesday lunchtime in half term holiday approx 1230 - greeted by 2 females of Thai appearance younger showed us to a table - there were plenty but it became over half full - and older mainly kept behind reception desk. Fairly simple straightforward design of interior with the bright pink colour theme and plenty of Thai nick nacks and wooden tables and chairs - not too fussy or fancy or luxury. Hopefully the focus is on the food. Well yes and no. Daughters had pad Thai veg and chickenspicy stir fried. The pad Thai had a worrying abundance of sweet chilli sauce running thru it, chicken noodles was definitely spicy with chillies. Daughter didn't like plentiful sliced onion in dish so I had it. I enjoyed my Isaan sausages on sticks (sai krok a staple street food) served with sliced ginger and coriander leaves and peanuts and small green chillies (normally it is served with sliced raw white cabbage leaves). The "khaep mu" fried pork scratchings that I thought would be a nice light authentic Thai fried pork rind that you can get all over northern Thailand was just plain old bought in pork scratchings - disaster. We enjoyed green iced tea and iced coffee. And there was also a small tray of small veg spring rolls that the children enjoyed. So overall not bad for lunch at just over eleven notes each we would go back to try other things may be guided by the staff for home made treasures.

I love thai food but have struggled to find anything much beyond average since moving to London from New York...that is until I came here! Food is incredibly authentic, flavors are incredible and I wanted to literally lick the plates after we finished. Will definitely be going back soon.

My friend and I used to dine at this branch of Thai Square before it closed and so we were delighted to see that it had recently reopened. We enjoyed our dinner last Friday evening after work and will definitely be back again. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food delicious. I had the Thai cakes to start which were fresh and zingy with extra spice oil to add which I did! Then I had the Weeping Tiger and my friend had the Pad Thai. A lovely place to catch up after a busy week, we'll be back.

It doesn'tt look great from the outside but inside you'll find some of the best original Thai food that I have had in London. Simply delicious. Very friendly staff and cheap. A hidden gem.
