Interesting little pizza store, with unusually a smallish restaurant attached. It's quite functional but very pleasant. Service was friendly and quick. Great pizza

Literally the best pizza ever!! We've been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else, staff are super friendly but more importantly it's the pizza...yum yum!!!

Friendly and fast service! The pizza tasted great, and the ratio of sauce to toppings and crust was perfect.

What originally drew us to try Poppa Pizza was seeing a review claiming it had the best pizza in Beeston. I'm happy to report it did not disappoint! The “Meatloaf” and “Poppa Special” pizzas we tried were cooked to perfection with high quality dough and fresh, tasty toppings. You can really taste the care and attention put into the ingredients. Seating was available for dining in, as well as takeaway which was conveniently fast. I would recommend offering contactless card payments though, as that is now expected for convenient payment in today's world. Additionally, providing complimentary drinking water would have been a nice touch. However, the food quality more than made up for this small oversight. Overall, Poppa Pizza lives up to the hype as Beeston's top spot for pizza. Whether relaxing inside or grabbing and going, it's worth visiting for flavorful Neapolitan-style pies. Accepting cards would make the experience even better for modern diners.

My family have been using this restaurant for some years. We always order the same thing, it’s never let us down. Perfectly cooked every single time. Great service. Good prices. Can’t complain. Only improvement I could suggest is to accept card payments as I have to make a special trip to the cash machine each time.

If you want proper old school authentic pizza then this is the place

Some of the best pizzas we have ever tasted. Been coming here for over 20 years, the pizzas are made to the same recipe and they are delicious. We always have the 12” Meatloaf and then choose another one for variety. They don’t deliver and they don’t take cards, cash only oh but it is worth it shop local & family business.

Poppa is the only place for pizza in Nottingham and that's been the case for over 20 years. The garlic bread is phenomenal and there are so many good choices of pizza toppings all freshly made to order.

Still the best place to go to in Beeston for pizza. Hadn't been for a while until last week. The pizza's are still amazing, the service and prices are still fantastic too. Says it all when they are still thriving, opposite the dull Pizza chain takeaway opposite. Will be back again much sooner next time.

Very very poor shop me and my family are regulars to this shop at least once a week first problem we had they cooked our food and delivered once they arrived with the food there machine that you pay with your card was not working so they took the food away and rather reheated and gave to someone else which is terrible or 2 it went in the bin which diabolical 2nd problem we decided we would carry on using this shop as to be fair we all enjoyed the food anyway we put a order in last night my daughter only eats beef but they insisted she has the meat feast I argued with the lady for 5 mins for her to finally just do beef when we got it the pizzas were under cooked the chips were half cooked half not and they wouldn't correct the problem I had to walk to a local chip shop at 8.45 to get my daughter food as she was so hungry this place is terrible stir well clear very dirty as my friend as actually been in to the shop around 8 people all handle together in one small space nasty p.s folks just found out there giving food to people of they give them good reviews hmmmmmmm why would you do that I wonder ha

Came here after reading the reviews. Ordered 5 pizzas for the football and they were alwful. Lacking in topping and burnt cheese. That is all we coukd taste. Unfortunately wont be going back

Called in here, and had a takeaway "7 inch regular salami & onion pizza". It was made with the freshest , most tastiest dough, and other ingredients possible, and was delivered into my eager hands very quickly, and piping hot...😋😋😋😋😋.... And at a very reasonable price of £4.20p. It was just the right amount for my needs, and I don't think any other pizza takeaways do pizzas in this size - but it's perfect, if you have a small appetite...So, these guys have been doing pizzas on this site since 1984, and Thier pizzas are still as good as when they first opened.... That speaks volumes about how good they are, at what they do...👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰. Would highly recommend...😋😋

Exceedingly good pizza, worth the visit.

I've been to this pizza place many times before and they have always been good. However, tonight I ordered the Poppa Special, which I have done before, and it was much too salty. It was like they had dumped salt on the pizza. There also seemed to be fewer toppings than what I remember.

We have been visiting Poppa Pizza for over 30 years. I had many parties here as a kid. Distinct taste which is always consistent. Great service from the owners. Old fashioned charm with the plates and decor. A gem in Beeston.

This shop has been open since 1984. First ever time I tried pizza from here. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. Will certainly be back again

i have been coming here for over 20 years, the pizza sauce is exceptional, i have to travel 9 miles to get here but its worth it, always a treat to have a poppa pizza especially if the missus is away for the night then its poppa pizza and porn hub time !!

Poppa pizzas are the very best. Absolutely perfect and I’ve never had pizzas this good anywhere. I went with my grandsons last night. It’s our treat to eat in the restaurant at the back. We have t been since before the pandemic so we were excited. Sadly they lacked the staff to open the restaurant last night, but they did let us in!!! We were so pleased. Later that evening they got the staff and the restaurant opened which made me feel less guilty about eating our pizzas! Can’t thank them enough

I'm upset with myself for not reviewing this place before now, as I've been coming here since I was literally a baby. My parents even used to come on dates here before I was born. I'm now 30, and live 25 mins away, but still make the trip over for this pizza. Homemade, fresh, deep pan and absolutely delicious. Also so so reasonable compared to the crazy chain prices. If you guys ever close I will be so gutted!

Local pizza shop that's been established for years. Takeaway only at the moment but normally would have small dining area a the rear which is closed due to covid19. All the standard pizza and side dishes are available and all are delicious and very moreish. Staff are brilliant and friendly.

Everyone who tried the pizza was sick, it tasted awful even though it was just a cheese and tomato and another vegetarian. The guy making the pizza was reusing a snotty tissue and not cleaning his hands then handling toppings. I just hoped he didn’t handle my pizza but now think it would have been better to ask for my money back gross.

First and last time of visiting. Very poor covid protection measures in place - no masks worn by staff, hand sanitiser had run out and cash only. Pizza was very mediocre and greasy. Very disappointed.
