Best authentic pizza in Manchester. Tastes exactly the same as the one I’ve had in Italy. Absolutely delicious and very cheesy. Well priced and the place is very clean. Would also recommended the cheeseburger.

UPDATE: I was sick after eating it ) I ordered pineapple and chicken and got pepperoni and chicken? Was not really spicy and a bit dry but good priced pizza for two. But certainly won’t be visiting again since I am unsure why I was sick after eating this

People taking the order simply don’t understand simple instructions. There’s no organisation of the orders. I specifically asked for no lettuce on my burger and wrap and the guy that took my order confidently said 100% no lettuce. The first thing I bit into on my order was lettuce it was absolutely horrific. Extremely disappointed will not come again

It's a decent place for pizza. Price is extremely reasonable which big plus. However over the years the quality of pizza have been compromised. Still its good.

We have been going to this place for 3 years. But recently the staff has been very unpleasant and unprofessional especially asking to pay for sauce on the pizza. I think it is extremely disappointing and low. Very unhappy do not feel like visiting again

Very rude, didn’t have cash on me and started to say that we want cash, but had a card machine. Then started to complain saying we have to explain to the boss that we used the card machine. When people in front were paying by card. Very disrespectful

My most favourite pizza place in the world! I've been a regular here since my student days and still stop by for a chicken & sweetcorn pizza whenever i am nearby.

I've been eating at this place since I studied in Manchester 20+ years ago. I've only ever eaten in and the Pizzas are still the same, fresh and hot out the oven. Could do with a bit of a refurb and they need to bring back the sauce bottles! Chilli and Mayo is banging with the spicy chicken pizza!

So fast on delivery a the food is just amazing thank you so much! The fries were so clean no oil pizza was out of this world wow!!! 10/10!!!

In all honesty wanted some good pizza that is not sourdough pizza, as a change in a way. Thought this place sounds good, saw the reviews and headed over with the family. Very big disappointment. 1-not clean one bit: dirty tables, floor covered in food crumbs. 2- service was bad, man at the counter was so into the olympiques on TV he doesn’t even answer back when spoken to. Asked for something to clean the table, wipes or antiseptic spray or anything to clean the table, he gave one wet wipe and turned back to the TV. 3- food is mediocre at best, buy a tesco pizza and add ur toppings at home, would taste better I promise. 4- cheese burger is a frozen piece of meat thrown on a grill (I presume) and the cheese is as small as half the patty. I would highly recommend going to any other food place on the street if u r hungry.

Why employ people who don't understand English? I asked for the tomato sauce to be mixed with gaflic, and he didn't put tomato sauce in the base at all. Completely messed up order. Change the staff!

I was a bit skeptical when I walked in here at 6:30pm as it was almost empty while the other restaurants next door were at least half full, I ordered a seafood pizza and 3 spicy wings, turned out the pizza was quite nice, and the wings are not bad at all.

Had an aisan style pizza really very delicious and served by ANJUM she is really too polite and kind she is always there to help and the way of talking is outstanding Thanks for the great serrvice and food will be back soon

I ordered a spicy beef pizza and once I got home and opened the box, they've just given a plain pizza with absolutely no toppings. It's a plain pizza with literally nothing but meat and cheese I am very disappointed. Not recommended

Delicious pizza 🍕 very fast preparation, surprisingly economic and very welcoming

I used to come here late night when I was young. Get the chicken sweetcorn and cover it in the chilli sauce. Combine that with the mango rubicon. I've just been back after 13 years and it's still the same! Pizza comes out on the old skool conveyor grill. Boss man there chatting away - taken over the business from his father, keeping the prices low and serving the same great late night pizza. For £4.99, you cant beat it. It's kind of like Manchesters answer to american style pizza pie before the NQ got dead posh. And the artwork on the pizza box is so iconic. Happy memories came flooding back after returning to Popolino's. Respect to the management keeping it to It's authentic roots.

I had a take away. I’m sorry to say, while it tasted ok, it was awful for my stomach. Endless crumps. Feels like you put all artificial stuff in.

Used to be my regular back in the year 2000-2002 , when studying in Manchester. If any one knows of loxford tower😮‍💨🤢-3 minute walk from there! Doesn't seem to have changed much since. From the other photos i see on reviews here, it still seems to be as great as ever. Prices still seem student friendly! Pizza used to take no more than 5 minutes from placing order. There used to be the conveyor grill, in front, so you see every pizza that comes out of the grill, each looking tantalising, hoping that is yours, especially when you are the hungriest - during busiest hours! After pub. I think that grill is still rolling out the pizzas after so many years! Hope to come back one day... Haha.

Been coming here for over 20 years. No longer live in manchester but always make sure i order some pizzas to take home when in manny. Chicken & peppers pizza is next level. Don’t know of any other place that used shredded chicken which is unique. Prices are insane, 20 years ago it was £3.50 and now only £4.50. My go to place in manchester for pizzas. Never had any issues

May be my new favorite pizza spot. Very reasonable prices for very high quality pizza. From the first bite I get a taste that all the ingredients are well sourced. Staff are all really friendly too, always a great purchase.

This is now the second time I've had an issue. Both times had missing items. Issue wasn't dealt with accordingly. Had to go through Uber to get a refund both times. Myself and colleagues left hungry after 12 hour shifts. Just ridiculous. Won't be ordering again. If you want a professional organised takeaway after work don't bother ordering from these guys. Just checked and wished I hadn't bothered after reviewing their hygiene rating. 3*. Pretty grim tbh. Food average last two times also. So many other places. Order from one of them. Save yourself the agro.

Got a chicken wrap from here today but the chicken was rock hard and when I asked them about it they said its like that because they put it in a toaster. The chips were good but will avoid the chicken from here in future as I believe their pizzas are better

Waste of time trying to correct it & waste of money with the wrong food that was cold and dry by the time I got it. I rang Popolinos to inform them they missed items and the guy who answered claimed he packed it so it couldn’t have been incorrect. He was very proud to say he’s the Owner’s Son to play big shots but refused to give his name, let alone apologise for it for getting the order wrong. He then refused to correct the order after he said “what do you want me to do?”, and hung up the phone after I asked to speak to a manager. After 20 years of buying from Popolinos, we will not be returning or recommending anyone again due to this individual’s poor customer service. As a business owner myself, and a customer, never have I dealt with a staff member as rude as him. I strongly suggest the Owner takes a look at how his son is running the business. Clearly he can not handle the heat in the kitchen, let alone manage a business or understand the basics of customer service. Very disappointing. His terrible attitude put me off my food all together.

Been here twice, both times have been late at night after a gig at the Academy. Ordered a chicken and pineapple pizza both times Which is unique. I think it was £4.50, though this has probably changed due to covid. First pizza was absolutely lovely if you're into this sort of "late night, grab a bite, I'm hammered" sort of thing. Second time was also great although I think there were bones in the chicken. Rather queer. I am relocating to Manchester this autumn and will look forward to making it a hat trick in regards to my number of visits to Popolino's. Good value for money, dudes working there are alright, would probably be 5 stars as a hangover cure.

Orderd 3 pizzas through deliveroo, only 2 were delivered, i ordered 2 of the same veggie pizza and one pepperoni both were nice pizzas but it was disapointing to not receive my full order i payed for.

Tables left dirty, staff were reluctant to clean the tables. Staff were rude and hesitant in handing out condiments. Would not recommend especially during these uncertain times.

Been coming here for the last 10 years.. I remember coming out the aquatics centre and nipping in at the age of 12 and never looked back.. Writes this review after picking up a takeaway at 1.45am from here, tucking into a spicy chicken and spicy beef pizza!

Very disappointing service very rude staff

I go here once a week, perfect pizzas always. Simple choices but great quality. Fresh, cheesy and very tasty. Their garlic breads are the best! Not greasy and full of aromatic garlic bits. Give it a try and you won’t regret.

Really fast delivery via deliveroo, and extremely low prices. Pizza was very tasty, but the garlic bread was a disaster- just a lump of thick stodgy dough with no taste.

I went into popolinos to grab a quick wrap and the chicken Caesar wrap was a poor choice. It had RICE in it?? Which was not a good addition. The Caesar sauce was hardly a 10/10. The rice was also a bit strange and dry. The chicken was nice tbf it the wrap was a bit chewy. Ended in the bin. Popolinos has a bit bad food but is a classic

Good pizza though a little salty. The staff are nice enough too. What offends me is how the owner has neglected the premises over the years. The seating is uncomfortable and hasn't been changed in years. Popolino's used to have a nice airy feel to it, now the walls are yellow and orange, like vomit. Not impressed. I probably won't go again. If I do, I'll takeaway.

I grew up on takeaway pizzas for breakfast during junior school because my dad worked in late-night fast-food joints. So, I know a good pizza when I see one. I've been all around Manchester looking for the best takeaway style pizzas. For me, these guys win. I'm not a fan of the franchise pizza places like dominoes, papa johns etc... I want those straight up greasy heavy pan pizzas for with lots of toppings for about a fiver that hit the spot. The average price is about £5 for a pizza, yet I feel it's so cheap for what you get. I go for the special pizza. They load the pizza with toppings, the base is crispy and after a bite, it just melts in your mouth. This is perfect food after a depressing session at the library. I've never left here feeling sad. I can't really comment on the service, it's just normal, pay the man and take the pizza. I don't come here to get smiled at or asked how my day was. I just wanna eat and feel happy. The only bad thing is that I always bit the pizza while it's too hot and burn my mouth. Mouth Feel: 10/10 Value: 10/10 Taste: 10/10 Service: it is what it is.

For someone who would like something different than the regular Domino's or Pizza Hut pizzas. Used frequent this place as a student, especially after lectures as it was the nearest and never got a bad pizza once. Good enough seating available too

Mi amigo y yo somos clientes bastante regulares, pedimos una pizza, la mitad de la pizza eran las coberturas que mi amigo quería, que eran pollo picante y maíz dulce y mi mitad era pollo normal, aceitunas y piña. Estaba en la última porción de pizza y vi algo negro / verde en el pollo. Separé esta porción y había algunas piezas que parecían estar creciendo en moho. Volvimos a Popolino's para quejarnos, pero fueron muy groseros y desdeñosos y afirmaron que era pimienta negra. Les preguntamos si comerían pollo si se veía así y dijeron que no lo harían. Sin embargo, no ofrecieron un reembolso, pero se ofrecieron a hacer una pizza nueva que no queríamos porque los dos nos sentimos mal después de ver el pollo en la pizza. Una experiencia muy decepcionante. No regresaré a Popolino's otra vez.

He estado haciendo pizza aquí por muchos años y siempre es rápido y delicioso. Recientemente regresó a Manchester y decepcionado por la falta de modales en la caja registradora, cuando pides una pizza, la persona en la caja registradora no te dice una sola palabra, solo toma tu dinero. Puede ser solo una persona, ya que al coleccionar son muy amables.

Así como yo estaba en Manchester para el día, decidí parar de nuevo, y fue como retroceder en el tiempo para mí. La conjunta parecía exactamente el mismo, incluso después de todos estos años. La Pizza también sabía lo que siempre ha hecho absolutamente de primera categoría! El precio es también muy razonable para la calidad increíble de la pizza que te dan. No puedo recomendar este hotel lo suficiente.

These have got to be the best, fresh pizza I've had in ages! I'm gutted we don't live nearer as there much nicer than the local ones. Great value for money £4 for a 10" pizza with 2 toppings. Couldn't fault it.
