I only went as I had heard good things and wanted to try it out. It wasn't for me. I had the chicken tenders with spicy mayo. It just tasted greasy, so I wouldn't go again. Service was really slow, and it wasn't overly busy.

It was my first time eating at Popeyes. I was really surprised at how good this is. No comparison to the competitor. The meat is really nice and crispy and tender at the same time. It's clean and the staff is very friendly. You order via the touchscreen at the entrance. You have the option of bringing it to the table or picking it up directly at the counter. Everything is fresh and there is a good selection of drinks.

45 minute wait for three pieces of chicken and some fries could've killed the chicken and cooked it myself quicker very rude staff were also wondering around like headless chickens atmosphere was good tho as fire alarm went off 4 times :)

Was over in Cardiff at a Christening with my daughter. We'd travelled from Bristol airport and knew we weren't going to get anything to eat before we got to our hotel so we called in here. The chicken was great and the service very good. Particularly enjoyed the biscuit with the meal - yummy!!

Restaurant is always clean. Definitely one of the best chicken places in Cardiff. The staff at the restaurant are always really friendly especially Jayne who always goes above and boyond. She is absolutely great with the children.

The food there isn't horrific but there are much better chicken places. The fries are tasty but the chicken burger was really salty and gave me a stomach ache afterwards. The chicken tenders are a bit better but less crunch and more crumble. They're quite bland and just not that tasty. I was excited to see a Popeyes open up in Cardiff but am a bit disappointed with the results. I gave it a couple tries but I'm not sure I'd go again.

Clean and tidy restaurant wonderful service by Jane

Super messy, the staff were all arguing, contactless doesn’t work. They gave me a tiny straw for the chunky milkshake so I had to leave to go to McDonald’s to be able to drink it.

We’ve been dying to try Popeyes for months ever since seeing it on YouTube. It was worth the wait and hype. The chicken was juicy and crispy. Our server Jane was lovely and the sweetest. Will definitely be coming back as we don’t have one near where we live in the West Midlands. Come on Popeyes, time to branch out.

On first attending to view menu, which I didnt find instantl clear to follow, I was approached by member of staff, called JANE, who took the time to explain the way around the menu and process. Jane was extremely helpful and polite . A credit to your company. I will visit again.

Like the wrap very nice breakfast, definitely will come back again. And thanks to Jane for her service to give me a guide on the breakfast selection and her handworking to the the environment so clean.

It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon but it was well staffed, with food leaving the kitchen quickly and staff cleaning the dining area regularly. The drinks tasted normal despite them being refillable (which can be hit and miss) and the food was nice. My only gripe was the awkwardness of the toilets, which are down a narrow and steep set of stairs which only one person can use at a time despite there being very little space at the top to wait.

Order food , it took my money , didn’t give me a receipt told the people, they said I haven’t ordered . So I’ve had to order again but haven’t got my money back.

Been to my fair share of poppeyes over the years and this has to be one of the best I've been to. Despite being very very busy food was flying out, and was fresh plus cooked perfectly. The place was very very clean with staff constantly clearing and cleaning tables. Absolutely will be back.

10/10. Not the beat chicken tenders i ever had but is sure is close. Maybe a bit too pricy but i wouldn't say it's still cheaper than most other chain fast food restaurants in the area
