Archie was very helpful and polite, the biscuits and gravy were tasty but the Cajun fries are exceptional.

Staff members are grumpy and rude. I asked for napkins he did not give initially and he was very dismissive about it. He was also quite rude when I asked for a bag to go. I get it they are young and inexperienced but just little kindness would go long way. Food was good!

It was very good. Nice food but a bit messy but that's OK for me. Only took about a minute or two for the food to come. If you come to the Metrocentre and if you are hungry, I would recommend coming here. The food was quite filling but tasty.

The food here was immaculate which made the place smell great 👍. The service was great our chicken was a bit late but they apologised the atmosphere was really good and friendly but some teenagers came and ruined some of it. I'd rate it a 4.9 because of these things

Came at around 6:15pm and it wasn't too busy! Chicken is delicous and I highly suggest the deluxe chicken box meal.

This place has gone downhill! I ordered a large spicy chicken box meal which had no sauce and no pickles inside the burger (as it should). The chicken itself was not cooked properly because it was still drenched in oil (meaning the oil wasn’t hot enough when the chicken went in) and it wasn’t crispy, just oily. I’m actually shocked and annoyed I paid ~ £12 for this meal, to be left completely dissatisfied.. never ever going again. You’re better off going to your local Dixy Chicken.

KFC has got nothing on Popeye's. We were served by the lovely Archie at Metrocentre.

Very good food, hot, fresh and tasty. Better quality than KFC in my opinion. It was quite busy but the food arrived quickly and the staff were friendly. There is a lack of 'private' seating and lots of long benches which isn't my preference. The restaurant is easy to access from the Yellow Car Park at the Metro centre, only about a 2 minute walk. Only other downside is the toilet was small and quite unclean.

Absolutely love popeyes. One of my go to places. I definitely recommend, staff are lovely and quick to fix your order if it goes wrong. The restaurant is big and tables are quite spaced from one another which I love for privacy.

Absolutely love this place. Super fast service and the staff are excellent! Ryan in particular was brilliant, credit to the restaurant. Been here multiple times now and the food is always delicious. KFC doesn't even compare, just wish they'd open more branches in the North East.

Bring back the KFC and it's real chicken. Once you've got through the crunchy coating this chicken is like mush barely any chew to the. Chicken at all me and sons first time, me and sons last time a quick walk to the ols KFC in metro it is. Replace one chicken shop with another weird, anyway a pale imitation of the real thing.
