Poonams really delivered on customer service, quality and definitely flavour when it came to catering for my daughter’s christening over the weekend. My mum communicated with Shikha and Manik throughout the process and they were both so friendly and did their absolute best with everything. Customer service was brilliant and they communicated with us the whole way. Manoj arrived on the day with a member of staff and ensured everything stayed hot, was topped up and even packed away anything leftover which we were able to give to our guests to take away. All of our guests loved the food and we were able to recommend Poonams to all of them, so I think many of our guests will be in contact too for their future events. Thank you so much Manoj and Shikha - you were an absolute pleasure to work with.

Ordered a take away from Poonams. Customer service and quality of food was excellent. Great tasting starters (kebabs, samosas and aloo tikki) and a superb butter chicken - the best I have had. Will certainly be ordering from them again soon. Special thanks to Harry for the great service.

Ordered Samosas... They were fried especially for us fresh hot and tasty. Really enjoyed them. Although there are so many other eateries nearby I prefer going to Poonam Sweets. Their mithais are amazing as well. Great job guys..

Went in to buy some sweets and kebabs and staff were extremely rude and had a total lack of following hygiene practices. The shop itself has not been cleaned and is very grimy. There are far better sweet shops in the area, with courteous staff and treat their customers better and also ones who follow good hygiene cleanliness. Would not recommend!

We booked private catering for a party from Poonams. Number of guests 170 The overall experience was fantastic From the initial meeting with Shammi to service on the day 100% positive The caterers arrived on time and starters and mains were served on time My experience with parties is that people always remember the food and Alcohol! Poonams did us proud My stipulations were that the food was fresh tasty and served hot. They definitely got this right. The waiters were great . Served the food and cleaned up without having to be told I would highly recommend booking Poonams Great food ,great service ,and value for money

Best eatable and enjoyable Indian mithai made with pure ghee! Love the dry Bundi Ladoos which taste grand. The Pedas and Kalakand are also good. They also have Indian snacks. Recently refurbished, this place is clean and hygienic. The servers are polite and caring. If you are a mithai lover and occasionally feel your sweet tooth comes alive, then Poonam is the place for you. Compared to other mithai shops in and around Southall, Poonam stands out 100%.

Food was good but was disappointed with the salesman. Elderly Gentleman did not wear any glove or use tongs to pick ladoo. But instead used hands. Whilst the other young server was wearing gloves and using tongs and When I pointed this out he said he was busy and that’s why he used hands. No apology was offered and it felt like he was doing me a favour. Will not go back out of principle. Very rude man.

I popped in here one evening, as I was passing by. I'm not a sweet tooth, so tried some of their vegetarian savoury delights - samosas, pakoras etc, and they really were yummy and very reasonably priced. I will definitely pop in again if I'm ever in the area.

Poona sweet centre you have made my sugary dreams come true! Oh how long I've been looking for you. Having searched high and low for peda, milk cake and pistachio we walked into your glittery doors and woah woah woah. What delights to behold our taste buds were enthralled. Thank you for your sweet service too, a lovely smile and a free sample or two. We'll be back again for sure to come and get more. Love molly and nicki (the ones who particularly liked the energy balls!) xxx

Poonam is a well known brand in southall famous for its ladoos.. so while in southall today I visited the place to buy some of their various mithai. Problems however with parking as only a few spaces outside the shopping parade. Therefore had to park in old southall near trs foods car park and walk to poonams. 5 minute brisk walk. The ladoos were very fresh and I also bought the white perras. These ars both sweets that I would recommend.to you. Other vast sweets on offer as well.. there was no queues being a Friday lunch time . Unfortunately due to time constraints was unable to buy Samosas or pakoras. Tables to sit if you wish. More for takeaways and I would class as a cheap eatery .takeout food also available. The service provided was efficient and friendly

I am notorious for my sweet tooth and I have to say that these are the best Indian sweets I have ever tasted. Other shops have quite dense and hard Indian sweets but these were the softest burfis (Indian sweets) I have ever encountered. Their have a fablous range of colourful sweets, ranging from your traditional ladoos, perres, besan, jalebis to new and innovative burfis such as oreos and strawberry cheesecake. The samosas are fried fresh on site and you can order a lovely cup of traditional Indian tea whilst you wait. Their curries taste like heaven and remind you of real homemade cooking. With such great food and service, there is a reason why they have been open for 40 years. My family have used their services for generations. I am not sure what Saski K was referring to as she has written almost identical reviews for several places.

I had recently vistd this restaurant to order samsoa and Indian sweets. they had a selection of sweets however the sweets tasted horrible. the sweets tasted dry and the samsosa also tasted dry. I believe that these sweets and the samsosa were not even fresh as they did not have that fresh taste and they were all dry. the sweets tasted bad and looked very dry.
