Wow what a find. Just walked from Cuckmere Haven and wanted a coffee and cake. Both Coffee and Cake were superb. Staff were very attentive and efficient. Special mention for Chef who made the delicious Raspberry and Almond Polenta cake, outstanding.

Don’t eat at this place no good staff don’t care at all they want you to leave at any point. Disgusting service for disabled people rid yourself from this place very average food and atmosphere. Avoid the one in the glasses. Total witch cares for no one. She is aggressive and horrible good riddance could have been a regular has bben server. You have started a war . Hot head server. Don’t like disabled people . Did nt need my cash. Hope you fail.

Jet-lagged from Australia, my English mate and I dropped in for lunch. We chatted to the lovely young owner and had a laugh or three. She's amazing. As always, a stellar service with friendly staff and delicious food. I love the open plan kitchen where you can see your food being prepared. The soft drinks and hot drinks are always lovely.

We came here for a late breakfast and were impressed with the really nice coffee and good selection of sandwiches in affordable prices. However, we were surprised that the sandwiches were served cold - they looked like they were meant to be grilled, and the cheese was just begging to be melted. 🤤The staff was super friendly, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. We also decided to treat ourselves to a dessert – sort of a layer cake – but it was super sugary and filled with fatty cream and not much to our liking. Overall, a bit of a mixed experience but the place definitely has a potential 👌🏻

My friend and I had brunch here yesterday. The weather outside was appalling, but the welcome was bright and sunny. They were busy but had one table free. Service was cheerful and, even though they were very busy, our food and drinks were served quickly. The waitress was very friendly and the food was hot and delicious. Gluten free was not a problem, the coffee was very good and the prices very reasonable. I could not fault this place, and will definitely come here next time I am in Seaford. Thank you.

Popped in here for brunch while we were visiting the area Saturday and it was lovely, staff were very friendly and although busy, we did not wait long at all! Great place for breakfast or brunch in the high street.

Excellent in all ways. Caters for everyone .. we’re vegan and the CAKE WAS UNREAL… mocha cake and carrot cake MMM service was lovely … the breakfast was grand and the hummus and sourdough toast yummm Coffee was delicious… All over a good time and can’t wait to go back… Does get busy we tried at lunch time and was heaving with no availability so I’d recommend getting there early or booking ahead :)

The separate vegan menu is good quality and reasonably priced. I had Greek Beans on toasted Sourdough, and blackberry and almond cake. Delicious. A choice of oat milk or soya milk for my pot of tea. Great service too.

Lovely little place! Partner had the cooked breakfast and white hot chocolate, enjoyed both. I had a soya cappuchino and potato and leek soup, it was delicious. They offer a lot of vegan options, the staff was friendly and the food and drinks came on time. It also has a charme about it with the wooden bench and being able to watch your food being prepped and all.

Was looking for a lunch to myself in seaford. I’ve been passed this cafe many times and never thought it looked great from the outside. I look for a more trendy coffee shop vibe. Well more fool me. Inside it’s welcoming , great service and REAL food. I will be going back regularly for the brilliant flavoursome made to order food. So happy to have found it on my doorstep! Thanks to the hardworking staff . Every person was happy smiley and efficient . Great job.

Took my wife to lunch, it was a very pleasant experience. Not a big menu but what was on offer was well prepared and well presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife had the sweet potato and chickpea stew which she really enjoyed. Both meals were very tasty. Well done to the staff, five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you all.

Lovely food, great service, reasonable prices. Only thing that caught us by surprise was the noise of chatting ... but I guess were just not used to that. All good, happy punters! Try the Rarebit, with a side of big beans and grilled Halloumi cheese... delish!

Came across Pomegranate by chance. Lovely place, atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was great and so refreshing to have plenty of vegan choices. Small vegan breakfast was all I needed and it was delicious. Good selection of gluten free as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if back in the area!

I’ve been to this cafe several times and have always been impressed with the service, amazing food and the ability of the chef to make an ordinary sounding dish spectacular! The waiting staff are also so friendly. Sometimes I’ve booked as the place is so popular but I was lucky on Saturday to get a table for 2 during an impromptu visit to Seaford. Same amazing service and quality. The breakfasts are great and the breads are wonderful too. There’s also a selection of scones and superb cakes including gluten-free so I am able to take my friend without her having to miss out. Just keep up the good work Pomegranate. We’ll keep travelling from Eastbourne just to visit you.

My yearly visit to this lovely cafe when I’m visiting family in the area from Spain. I’m never disappointed with its cleanliness and the friendly welcome you receive. Plenty of choices on the vegan menu for me . The food is fresh, delicious and well presented and the vegan cakes are to die for. Honestly you have to try them.

I had an oat latte, vegan banana cinnamon toast, and a vegan mocha cake to go. The staff were enthusiastically welcoming, jovial, and kind. The restaurant had a lovely close-knit vibe (even though I’m just passing through the city). Food was tasty—what I got was on the indulgent side of the menu. They had an impressive array of several vegan entree options, and several vegan cake options.

This is a well run restaurant offering quality food (breakfast, light lunches and good selection of cakes) very friendly and welcoming staff.

Absolutely brilliant. The waiter was very welcoming and filled the place with his cheerful banter. The chef was equally brilliant presenting a humble breakfast dish in a way only seen in Masterchef. Highly recommended to lift your spirits and reawaken your taste buds.

A really good choice of food, with options for all of us. Staff were fantastic really welcoming and gave advice on to have. If I was local i would definitely be regular. However I will definitely come back when I'm next in the area.

Great service atmosphere and people

Went for lunch today with my step mum who is a regular customer. All the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was given the vegan menu as requested when we booked our table and delighted to find several choices. We were both very happy with our meals, pasta with pesto and chicken and spiced curry chickpea, spinach and roasted pepper wrap. Delicious! Great flavours and fresh ingredients and well presented. We ordered 2 pieces of vegan cake to take away with the idea of sharing but my lime, berries and pistachio slice was so good, she didn’t get a look in guys 😂. I fly back to Spain next week but will definitely be visiting this cafe/ restaurant again when I come back.

I visited Seaford and ate her on one of the mornings (I had no kitchen where I was staying). Greeted at the door I was shown to a table and was given very fast service. The waiting staff seem to know everyone by name here!...

One of the best cappuccino's in the locality of Peacehaven, Newhaven and Seaford; and a place where there's a welcoming smile, and an attention to detail, that's an essential quality of what Pomegranate serves to you. Certainly going back in the very near future.

Lamb koftas were not right; lamb not fresh. Gluten free bread had more flavour than salad, the dressing or the koftas. Only ate some of it because l was really hungry. Clearly popular, l may try again in case it was just a duff portion....

Simply the best Café in Seaford, we'll organised for Covid, book your table & if you don't you will, quite rightly wait outside. But... Sadly with Tier 4 you will have to wait a lot longer to enjoy their exemplary service as they are forced to close. Just look forward to when they can open!

Good Covid controls in place. Food to die for Earl Gray tea was good also just the right temperature. Felt very safe and comfortable there. Highly recommended.

The nicest owners and staff you could ever have. Their coffee is delicious and hot. I have had the most tasty chocolate brownie I have EVER tasted in my life. And their fruit scones are perfection. I always recommend to visitors to go there for lunch. Very clean and efficient too.

Visited today 14/08/20, found really lovely warm welcome, excellent service and all Covid precautions explained once we were sat at the table. Lovely friendly staff with warm engaging personalities who couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely choice on the menu with something to suit everyone, a tasty looking ‘specials’ board was on the wall to choose from as well. Tea (decaf) arrived In a small pot with beautiful vintage china cup and saucer and a vintage milk jug. My “cheddar cheese on toast“ was fast to arrive and beautifully presented along with my companions “Portobello mushrooms on sour dough” we were offered glasses of tap water immediately our order was taken and my friend said her decaf latte was lovely too. Cleanliness at the table was exemplary and the toilets were cleaned between visits. (I didn’t visit so cannot pass comment) all in all a really lovely business well worth supporting, Seaford you are lucky people to have this cafe in your town. Will absolutely be visiting again, once I can find an excuse to return to Seaford .
