This restaurant is such a wonderful edition to Peacehaven. The food is exceptional; delicious charcoal grilled items and interesting sides/dips. The staff are always super friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced; house red wine is particularly lovely and the perfect temperature. The only thing that would have enhanced it for me as someone with a gluten allergy would be if they had some gluten free pitta bread on offer so I could enjoy dipping the humous. Will visit again soon.

We came here for a small dinner while being on a very long hike. And to have coffee because every café had closed already. The food, cocktails and coffee was great. And the service was friendly. I can recommend this place.

A casual restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean style food. When you're in the dining area you're very aware that it was once the back room of a house......if you're looking for atmosphere this may not be the place for you.

Lovely charcoal grill food with generous portions, especially the sharing plates.

Unless you like meat, lamb especially, it's hard to find something inspiring to choose but it was ok. Desserts were nice and the service was very good though

Really enjoyed our meal here. Good value for money, we had the sharing platter and a bottle of wine which came to about £75. Not bad for two courses and drinks for two. Nice staff and clean environment. I couldn't give five stars purely because it was a hot sunny day and we were told we couldn't sit outside, even though the tables were laid ready. I'd put the tables and chairs away if they're not available. Other than that minor thing, we had a lovely meal and will be back

So happy to eat at this excellent restaurant again, we waited 2 years until we could come back from California to enjoy the Mediterranean food and the flavors and quality is still excellent. The cold and hot meze platters are so flavorful and the portions are a good size. The staff are very friendly and service is spot on. I just wish we could find a restaurant like this back in California. They also have really good steaks and seafood if the Mediterranean style is not your cup of tea.

We had a delightful dinner here. From the starters to the main course, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and a special shoutout to ‘Daniela’ for her exceptional service. Highly recommend this place!

Great Greek/ Persian/ Turkish mix mash of tastes and flavours

Went there with a group of 19 people not knowing what to expect after hearing mixed reviews. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Betti Sarmy. There's lots on the menu, so I would thoroughly recommend giving them a try.

No wobbly tables here! This detached restaurant in Telscomebe Cliffs sits alongside the main road (A259) between Brighton and Eastbourne easily accessible by public bus, and has plenty free parking close by and if your lucky you could park in front of restaurant limit to 4 vehicles. It has had a complete makeover from its previous life as a Wimpy. The design and decor is neutral and tastefully, finished to a very high standard. There are 3 separate areas inside seating up to 64 guest. The tables and chairs all match (as they should) and reflect the high standard of decor overall. A further outdoor seating section accommodating I think around 36. I visited in an evening in March where. It was not in operation. Beautiful wood effect flooring blends in well with the modern recessed ceiling lights, a sound and cctv system is in use along with a server operated table service electronic tablet. Disappointed no jug of water on table this along with paper napkins which were replaced 3 times -wasteful (linen gives better impression and can be recycled) first impression let down. Attentive and professional service from servers. Disappointing service on wine bottles just left on table to self serve no tasting or pouring offered - wine and beer reasonably priced and good quality. The cold platter was sufficient portions and accompanied with warm bread(nans). The hot platter was also plentiful tasty and well presented let down somewhat with “cold” plates to eat from. Very nice side salad. Dessert selection a little lacking in choice - no Turkish Delight! - no Turkish coffee. I must admit I was hard pushed to fit in a dessert after all the food, but managed a baclava (nice). The rest rooms- modern bright clean - 1 male 1 female room. All tiled floor and wall to a high standard. It has an awkward hand drying setup, you have to go to hallway with wet dripping hands to use electric hand dryer I could not find any paper towels in male toilet. The smokers are not well catered for no ash trays in front of property where you have to go to smoke! A small bar area with stool which is opposite a checkin desk. Nice to have double full glass doors on entrance to help maintain comfortable temperature. I cannot comment on all the food on offer only what my party of 6 ordered no complaints only compliments. I would like to visit again when the outdoor area is operating. I very much enjoyed our visit and the attention to detail on the choice of the fixtures and fittings with one exception the plastic plants. They offer takeaway contains for food not consumed. As of March 30th 2024. The restaurant website kappadokya.co.uk needs working on!!

Outstandingly good food! The portions are generous and we find the cold meze platter for two is actually enough for four, especially given the size of the main courses. All the meat and fish is cooked to perfection and we had a great time. A good bottle of Shiraz was enjoyed along with Peroni on draught. A really good restaurant and well worth making a journey for.

I would like to point out that you are a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is good. The staff is friendly. I recommend it to everyone.

We've been visiting Kapadokya restaurant for a few months now and the food is always amazing. Fresh and tasty. The service is great, friendly staff and always helpful. Very clean restaurant and there is a parking in front of it or on the side of the road. They have done a beautiful garden as well. I can't for the sunny days to come. 10/10 on everything! We will be visiting again and again. 💯

I have eaten in this restaurant a few times and last night tried a takeaway. Every experience has been a huge success; the takeaway no less! Fantastic care and attention to detail with fabulous (hot, fresh) authentic food. This is a total quality outfit - highly recommended.

After winning and dining for 70 years In Brighton,it was a delight to find this restaurant in Telscombe.The food is amazing and the service I could not fault.A couple of little add ons would make it perfect as in maybe candle light to each table and definitely finger bowls.Thankyou for an amazing experience.

I really like this place. The food is excellent. It's nice to visit a mediterranean which has authentic cruisine. I like the spicy sausage and halloumi as a starter and then either the kebabs or moussaka. The service is excellent, very welcoming and smiley.

Went here on a Thursday night- the service was good, the food was good, and the pricing was fair. Got parking on the premises and enjoyed the salmon and tzatziki starters before a lamb casserole and a chicken main. My partner and I would highly recommend here and will be going back!

We visited for my husbands birthday for the first time today. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was amazing. Very friendly from start to finish. The venue has been beautifully decorated and we will visit again. Thank you for our lovely meal.

We went in June, booking in advance, and we were seated promptly on arrival. The restaurant was busy. It's split into two loosely connected seating areas. The front of house, north facing area was full. We were in the rear facing south side which was softer lit and projected an intimate atmosphere. We shared a cold platter starter (which was listed as for two but the kitchen scaled it up to three adults plus one fussy adult with a tiny appetite). We similarly then had a scaled up main course mixed meat platter. It was fantastic. The meats were all perfectly cooked, and the side dips/gravies/sauces were varied and tasty. A house red wine was paletable and, again the staff were more that happy to create a couple of non alcoholic cocktails from the tee totalled in the group. We had tap water with our meals and that wasn't added to the bill. It isn't cheap. But, did we get value for money? Absolutely. We will be returning.

First time dining at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent. We had the squid to start with which was so soft, moussaka for our main which was so delicious and then the raspberry sorbet which was really smooth and full of flavour. An excellent dining experience and a lovely restaurant with smart decor to sit in.

this restaurant has been on the lewes road ready to open for nearly two years during which time it changed from Afghanistany to Turkish so on seeing it finally open wished to dine there. the food was high quality for both courses starter and main all of the group felt full after the main we did not try the sweet course there was a reasonable choice of drinks both alcoholic and soft plus the normal teas etc, there is also choices of cocktails from the bar. - the food came quickly but the service could defiantly improve being asked to past food down the table or just dropped down on the table it was only one server who may have been the owner and with only three tables to work early in the evening it felt rushed - so food really tasty but needs to hire a waiter

Slow service, staff seemed to be struggling with full restaurant. Waited along time for food to come out, and 1 meal had to be returned due to steak being really fatty and not cooked how asked. Would definitely give it another try. Food presentation was good. Very loud in there, could definitely do with some acoustics to dull the background noise as its a square room with no decoration.

We were standing in pouring rain and pleaded with the staff to use a toilet offering to pay, or even to sit down and make an order, but were met with refusal and smirks. If you are a local maybe this is a good place, but as a traveller don’t expect friendliness.

Awesome, the food and service are first class. Margaritas are the best you'll find this side of the Atlantic and the food is the best you'll find this side of the Aegean. Top notch.

Great place, went there for my birthday for the second year in a row, the food and atmosphere is amazing and the staff made me feel really special for the evening, bringing out a candle in my dessert and getting the whole restaurant to sing me happy birthday. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing meal as ever. We asked for the 3-4 person sharing platter which comes with a cold meze starter platter. Asked if they could change one of the cold platters to swap it for the hot starter and they did this without charging us!. See the pics below- we got 2 plates of the grilled meat ive only posted one pucture of it. Portions huge and enough for 6 actually. Bill only came to £100 which fir a meal out these days is great 👍

We booked a table here tonight and were welcomed as soon as we arrived and shown to our table. The starters were delicious, so were our mains. We had no room left for dessert. Best meal we have had in a long time. We will definately be returning, thank you!

Everything was fresh, tasty and full of great bbq flavours. Meat was perfectly cooked. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had a great time. Lots of choice in the menu and beer on tap.

First time at this relatively new Turkish restaurant. The food was really gorgeous and very generously portioned. The service was attentive, polite and friendly. Plenty of parking space front and back. The only disappointment for me was the decor. It was beautifully clean and comfortable but completely colourless. Grey and beige with green plants. H’mm, it would really help the ambience if if there were beautiful Mediterranean colours on the walls, a few pictures or posters. Some wonderful Turkish art influence. Also the overhead lamps were those horrid industrial style. How about some of those beautiful Middle Eastern style lamps instead? Just a thought, especially as there is a garage directly opposite so beautiful distractions in the restaurant will keep customers happy. Did I mention that the food is wonderful!

Really nice food but I just can't understand why tsansiki and other dips you'd traditionally be served on the side Mediterranean food aren't free. I'm greek and have been to my fair share of Mediterranean restaurants and it's standard. Pita bread with a side of garlic dip just isn't the same. That minor annoyance aside, this place is lovely and I can't wait to visit again.
