Delicious milkshakes but on this occasion, they were rather runny.

Ordered from this place however 2 items was missing when we called up to resolve this the worker was rude and not helpful to resolve this and insisted we had not ordered it despite us paying for it and showing the receipt

Unable to leave a review on order from 31.7.24 as it was never received. When contacted restaurant lady was rude and dismissive. Would never order from here again. Also didnt realise 2 star hygiene rating.

Tried the penalty chicken burger. Loved it..absolutely recommend it. Full of flavor. Best chicken burger I've had in a very long time...staff friendly..store spotless, from my view.

I had their hot wings and rice which were delicious and affordable.

No fries with the burger meal even though they have charged us for them. Chicken strips are just normal fried ones nothing special. Probably won’t order again not worth the money at all.

Always early well cooked and the kids love the players sauce on the wings our new favourite place 3rd time in a week

Tried this place, was average. I always try the basic dish first, chicken burger meal. Burger was just about average on taste and the fries were a little undercooked. Ended up binning them. Problaby won't try again.

I did not recive my food and tried calling multiple times and was no answer

The last I ordered I got garlic mayo sauce for free, this time nothing. which made the chicken not so enjoyable. Don't order the fried but order the curly fries they have a crunch to it. Food arrived hot. But again Garlic mayo sauce was missing, Please guys add garlic mayo sauce to the full chicken platter.

Never came charged for delivery but won’t deliver

Uber driver was totally useless wouldn't give me my food after I showed him the number I was given. Dropped it on the damp cold mat after I told him I didn't want it and wanted a refund. Then proceeded to get the same horrible attitude from players staff. I'll never ever order from them again. It has left me stressed and annoyed as its not cheap. Not to mention hungry. Your lucky I'm even giving it any stars.

Got order wrong. Asked for kids wrap meal and normal chicken strip meal and they got it the wrong way around.

Driver was a bit in shock, maybe cos it was raining, but all great, thank you

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING!!! Ive eaten here twice in past two months and both times it has given me food poisoning. First time i wasnt sure if it was players but it DEFINITELY was. Avoidddd FOOD POISONING!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I ordered two double fillet burgers (the mighty players burger and the double peri peri fillet burger) and we did not receive what we ordered. Instead of receiving two fillets in each burger, we received 1 and a half as seen below. They had clearly cut one of the fillets in half. This place is a scam and I do not recommend going here.

We ordered on uber eats buy 1 get 1 free and it look like they got 1 fillet and cut it in half and made 2 burgers out of it so there was more bread than actual chicken and did not taste nice quite the opposite. Will never order from here again and waste of money.

We ordered of Uber eats and we had a milkshake not there so we ring up and the woman on the phone was quite rude to us I tried explaining calmly that we was missing the food I then explained that we wouldn’t be able to come to the shop as she was saying to come to the shop I then explained my nan was disabled and we couldn’t come and said she didn’t care we my nan was quite annoyed this comment and had a go at her which we was in the wrong for but the comment she made was quite rude she then started blaming the delivery driver who I already had spoken to and he said he had never had a milkshake given to him I then said is they want way we could get a refund on just the milkshake and she started getting more rude so I put down the phone and then when we started to eat out burgers they was awfull they tasted burnt and very rubbery the salad was brown and the chips were just chips to be honest no complaints about the chips but the burgers where awful and the milkshake and coleslaw I never received I would not recommend this place as the service was shocking and appalling and the food was awfull.

Players by name players by nature! I ordered the meal deal £34.99 do not fall for it! 10 chicken wings should be included with the order instead they sent a tub of bbq sauce, I rang them to try and rectify my issue and the man argued back to me saying I ordered onion rings instead of them! As anyone who clicks on the deal it gives the option of onion rings for a side not as a replacement!? Stay clear if you want what you order because they’re not for correcting their mistakes!

Best place to ever visit especially for wings and Ferrero richer shake

Absolutely appalling. No hygiene whatsoever, the lady that works there was putting in chips with her bare hands, told her if we could have fresh chips and not to use her hands. Also she rushed the chips therefore it was not cooked properly.

Ordered 2 waffles totalling £16. Turned up with one waffle and an empty box. (most likely the dealer that works there off his rocker) Boyfriend called the store and they tried claiming "it's 3rd party so we can't do anything" with other staff laughing in the background. I'm sorry. But does the uber driver make the order himself? No. Bf called the guy out on this, I'm assuming the call handler was expecting him to just hang up and that be that. They decided they'd send out the waffle they forgot stone cold.

I ordered a whole chicken meal. Half of the chicken was raw with blood running through. But I was shocked when I spotted something looking like a fried insect! Please, always check your food! I am disgusted🤮🤮

Delicious cheeseburgers! Worth to eat-in. I had ordered by delivery from Players Rochdale in the past, however eating there was a different experience: fresh chips, cheeseburger still warm and very tasty as well as the milkshake. Children meals come with a chocolate treat bag. Staff very polite. Cash only.

Today i visited Players (Rochdale) with my children at around 7pm. The gentleman who served me was absolutely brilliant. While taking my order he entertained my youngest, he was extremely polite and pleasant and helped me chose items from the menu. He noticed my youngest talk about his favourite chocolate and then offered him one and while our order was being prepared he offered us free ice cream. No other restaurants or takeaways have treated customers as nice as this guy from Players did. I forgot to take his name down, but i hope he reads this review and knows he definitely will see me purchasing from there again as the food was yummy and spot on. Its the little things that you do for your customers that will bring them back to you again and again. There’s many places in Rochdale that have miserable staff who don’t even acknowledge you’re waiting to place an order, or they are rude and never smile or make a conversation, but this gentleman at players who served me today was absolutely brilliant. Thank you very much

Terrible experience through Uber eats. Got the whole order wrong. The milkshake wasn’t blended properly, couldn’t even get the bits through the straw. Waffle was extremely dry. Terrible

Quite expensive for what they serve

Took a group of young people here last night - staff were absolutely great! So welcoming and chatty & even gave us a free ice cream! Great playlist too! Can’t recommend enough!

Terrible customer experience when explaining that they had missed items out of my order and instead of sending the missed items out again refuse to acknowledge it. I had to sort it out with uber eats. This is the second time my order has had items missing and I was truly dissapointed. on top of that the fish burgers fish was frozen in places and uneatable. Will not be ordering here again and I recommend that others don't order from here again.

Went in there and my card got declined I wouldn’t mind but I only wanted 2 chips and a can of Pepsi told him to try £2 on card as I knew I had it and give him the other £1.60 cash and he was very rude threw the money at my boyfriend took the can back and acted like we did something wrong I don’t understand what the issue was considering we had the full amount of money just some cash and some card which he said he was happy to do at the start

Grilled wings were so good, the manager I think, that was there, very nice guy who recommended the wings to us and the spice at which it's the nicest. Just great place to dig in, we travelled from Newcastle and was just really hungry and this place hit the spot before we headed off.

Wow first time here food was brilliant, price was a bit expensive for what it is, only lost 1 star due to lack of cooling on a hot day as the building is mainly glass and sun was boiling the glass haha made it very uncomfortable to eat inside as there was no air conditioning on. Second reason was because the chips were very poor for the price, no salt no nothing. Both me and my friend ended up chucking them away after just a few bites which is very bad as we don't like wasting food but they need something done to them as even with sauce they just not very edible. Will deffinately be back in future again, staff were very friendly. Hopefully you can improve on these two tiny things.

Nothing special just a standard place which is slightly overpriced. The beef burger can probably be better made at home, very bland. The only decent thing from this place I would recommend are milkshakes. Other than that I would not recommend coming here to eat. The very perk burger also tastes like nothing but spice.

Poor quality food, overpriced and not worth it, found straight bone and blood in my food and got food poising many of times from this place, used to go daily during COVID-19 1st Lockdown but after that lifted, this went down hill.

Chiken Wings are good but burgers are tasteless.

Can't stress enough not to eat from here if you don't like sauce on your burgers because even after saying multiple times on multiple occasions, no sauce, they cannot get it right.

Came In first time the gentleman was very nice and kind as soon as I ordered the food which was the fastest food serving place I have gotten by far. the food was so clean and fresh and not oily one bit I highly suggest you try players and the hospitality is on point definitely will be coming back

I go often ,sat evenings for my 18 wings and chips ..so friendly know what I want soon as walk in and great service and to top it off the food is absolutely amazing
