Waited at the counter to be served, no one arrived. We could hear people working and talking so after several minutes we walked out.

The burger double the time out for 5.99 was so bland and dry worst burger I’ve had ever ngl, the players in Cheetham hill way better. This was burger was yuck n dry n so bland and partner had wrap and that was same poor quality

Grabbed a burger from here two days ago a peri peri chicken burger half way threw i got to a thinker piece of chicken and it was still raw I'd not noticed until after I'd already taken a bite, took it back and they made me a new one. Didn't think anything of it until later that night when all hell broke loose and I spent the next 24hrs violently ill and had to miss work not impressed at all very disappointing.

I order peri meal burger within less then five minutes got it after seeing it a very few chips given hardly even a small size the grill burger was not even cooked properly and a small piece did not see the person even putting it on the grill it’s better you go and spend the £6.50 elsewhere

We were served by exceptionally friendly staff. The young man who assisted us was absolutely wonderful—attentive, polite, and more than willing to accommodate our requests. All four of us left feeling extremely satisfied. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and to top it off, they truly have the best milkshakes in town. Highly recommend!

The food we had was amazing and the inside was very clean and looked amazing. I highly recommend going. The young boy at the till was very polite and well mannered, his communication skills where amazing, he made me and my daughter happy and made us laugh making us leave in a happy mood.

The burgers are dreadful, nowhere dies it state that the beef burgers are laced with a awful mix of chilli and spices, the fries were oily, there is more atmosphere in a library than in this place.

Mixed Feelings at Players, Oldham Visited Players in Oldham with high expectations for a cosy meal. We opted for the mighty burger, the penalty kick burger, BBQ chicken wings, and the classic chicken wrap, all upgraded to meals with drinks and fries. Unfortunately, the experience was a mixed bag. The BBQ wings were a letdown, lacking any discernible flavour. It was as if the seasoning took a day off. Similarly, the burger buns didn't hold up to the task, disintegrating before we could even dive into the meal properly. It's a fundamental expectation that the vehicle for the burger should at least be robust enough to last the meal. On a brighter note, the staff at Players were the highlight of our visit. They were nice and friendly, greeting us warmly upon entry. Their demeanour was welcoming, which is a plus in any dining experience. The cleanliness of the place didn't go unnoticed, contributing to a comfortable setting. It's worth mentioning that we were the only patrons at the time, which was surprising. The staff seemed equally surprised to see us, which added a unique touch to our visit. Despite the shortcomings in the food department, it's clear that Players has potential. The atmosphere and staff suggest that with some tweaks to the food quality and preparation, this could be a go-to spot in Oldham. It's always a gamble trying out new places, and while this time it didn't pay off as we hoped, the foundational elements for success seem to be in place. One the worst food ever with rice no taste at all. Boiled yellow rice heated not fresh please try avoid this place.

Wish I read the reviews before eating here. I got the blitz burger, thick dry buns and small patty, it was all dry bread. The fries were good . Atmosphere was awkward because there's no music so I just had to listen to the conversation nears me. Go to the subway next door, it tastes better than this.

Staff were absolutley lovely. Food was well worth the money as its not expensive at all and decent quality I was full and really enjoyed it. Kids got waffles they were made beautifully. The ice cream and milkshakes were very very tasty. Would be nice if they had some music playing to create a buzzing atmosphere. But all round I would visit again. Thank you.
