Only visited while grandson attended a birthday party so didn't have food

Not open when advertising it is! Even on the door it says open @8 but it didn't 😡 phone calls not answered,

Went there for the first time last night. Excellent venue with amazing friendly staff. Will definately go again

Watched the Euros there with a great atmosphere, 3 different bars. Table or bar service. Comfortable chairs, big and small screens. Also has a 6 aside football pitch for hire and a number of golf simulators again with bar facility

Very expensive for food and alcohol. But you only go to this place for atmosphere which was non existence on a Saturday afternoon

The ultimate venue for boxing, & being the host , makes it better

Went to see a burlesque show, the atmosphere was amazing, the venue was incredibly clean and the staff were so friendly, I didn't have anything to eat so I can't review it, but drinks price were a little expensive

Great for big screen for sports.

First time here. Tried based on a friend's suggestion. We went on a Sunday afternoon. Awesome place to watch sport events and bring kids as well. They have pool, games room, and a football pitch available on bookings. Food was in huge quantity as here the portions are huge. We had a shared plate of nachos and a single portion of french fries with chilli con carne. Everything of great quality. Price acceptable both for food and drinks, and easy parking as well. Highly suggested.

Players Lounge hosted my daughters 10th birthday and we had the best time. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The venue is superb and spotless. Thank you again

Excellent evening with the fantastic band Expose. This is one of the best clubs in essex catering for a wide taste in music and sports, We also hold our Round Table meetings here.

Need more bar staff!!! Those who were there worked really hard but difficult to get served on busy nights. Venue is great, size and layout perfect. Sound system good.

When we go it is usually for the entertainment events and they are always an absolute blast! We have been there a few times now and each time the atmosphere is terrific! They have celebrities and others DJing and even when they put on their 80s nights they always put on a good show.

We went for the "Garage, RnB, Kisstory" night. We described the music as cheesy wedding, very disappointing indeed!

Went to an event here Boogie Nights or something 70's disco type thing. Was about 30-40 people there max. the music was absolutely awful rubbish, the DJ didn't mix a thing (started and stopped each track), was zero atmosphere, drinks were not cheap (£5 for a spirit/mixer, £9 for a double), the whole night was a waste of time and money. We left a couple of hours early. On the plus side the bar was empty - didn't queue once - bar staff waiting for customers! The toilets were clean and the venue was clean/nice. If the music had been good we couldn't care how many people were there, we would have enjoyed ourselves. So advice going forward: sort the music out for future events.

Only 3 people in there, bought 3 rounds and food in first hour (£100). Was on a leaving do from work with 6 more people on the way. Dj started playing really loud even though we were the only 3 paying customers and when we asked to turn down a bit so we could carry on talking the answer was 'sit down old man'. Complained to the manager who said it was an event and the music had to be loud. We moved in. Shame, we spent about a £600 in there good Friday and it was a fun night. Food was great, drinks good, that's all I can say. Heaving crowd as you can see from the pic........

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. The SpiderMan event was absolutely brilliant. We were disappointed we were unable to purchase the part for viewing the Spider-Man Into The SpiderverSe Movie too. Those tickets had already sold out. But this was a Beautiful venue, with brilliant people... 👏✨☘️🙏

Not sure it's a good venue for a "clubnight".

The security at this venue is amazing. Especially David, went above and beyond to ensure me and my friends had the best night. My friend also lost her purse and the bar staff kept it safe and was returned with everything in it! Thank you so much! X

Staff were fantastic. Very helpful we had a kids all boys party 8 year olds they and there families loved it

Amazing live music venue! Drink prices are reasonable. Excellent lighting and amotsphere. Cannot wait to come back and perform with Oh-aces again! Thank you for your hospitality.

Club nights here are good however the bar service is rubbish 30 mins to get served. Left in the end which is a shame as the night was pretty good. Need more bar staff 100%

Good facilities and staff were very friendly.

We booked breakfast for 10am on Christmas Eve. We arrived and sat down, at 10:15 I went to the bar and ordered as no one was coming over to the table. Placed an order for 2 english breakfasts, kids breakfast and a breakfast roll. 10 minutes later a lad walked over with the refund already loaded onto the card machine and told me the chef was refusing to make our breakfast until 11:15am as they had a kids birthday party going on. We had to leave and find an alternative. On the plus side the youngsters serving were perfectly pleasant and apologetic

Great food and friendly service

My Son had his 7th birthday at Players lounge today and I could not recommend this venue enough. The whole thing from start to finish was seamless. The professionalism, organisation and service from every single member of staff we dealt with was exceptional ! Thank you all so much !

Great place to visit.golf simulators are brilliant. Good food and drink and fabulous for watching sport on the large screen. Staff very friendly and efficient. I would have given 5 stars butI went on a Sunday and lots of noisey children . Which I have no problem with as I know they must be a large percentage of your takings and its great they have somewhere to play there football. Just a shame you haven't another larger room for them to enjoy themselves. Saying that it wouldn't put me off visiting again. Well done !

Went to a boxing event here and had table service ,no complaints at all.

Plastic glasses wasn't very nice..and drinks not very strong..maybe too much ice...music was abit naff..and couldn't understand how he could play Elton John..but Shania Twain...wasnt allowed???

Went here for a round of virtual golf. Never played golf before, other than a few swings at the driving range but it was great fun! Staff helped to set everything up and gave us a few pointers. Saved going all the way to the golf course just to embarrass myself. The place serves food and drinks too, which makes it a great place for a casual social / session👍

Had our son's birthday footie party here earlier today. I can't fault the staff - friendly, accommodating and great customer service - nothing was too much for them. The 18-strong party loved the supervised football and the meal of mini- burger, pizza slice, chicken nuggets and fries were a big hit with the young players. Highly recommended.

Went to see one of our favourite Artists.. Snowboy and his brilliant band, exceptionally good venue great dance floor and very good service at bar, the place was not over booked (too crowded) and drinks were reasonable priced, we had a brilliant evening Thank You.

Good beer, good service. But remember to book a table in advance if you want to watch a big football match down there

Great venue to watch sport and the food was excellent. Maybe a bad night but service was appalling.

I loved it! Granted I’ve only been once, so take this review with a pinch of salt; I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the service I received. The golf sim was amazing, and the staff where very helpful to me and my party. I would definitely recommend at least trying it to anyone who is considering going.

Went to see a live band but the DJ/ host wouldn't get out of the way. Held the band off till 09:45 When they got going it was great.

Lovely cosy spot for the boys/girls to hang out night or day. Watch a bit of live footie, rugby, grand prix etc as there is a fairly large sitting area with bespoke mega screen for your viewing pleasure. Relax with chilled drinks or tea to ease the stress I had tea because it was cold outside, overall lovely service and courteous staffs. What more can you ask, wait plus an infusion of modern decor to add flavour

Can’t fault the venue as a whole , it’s got something for everyone, great selection of quality drinks and the food was also very good, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the only downside is the golf simulator which was very clunky and probably not worth the money but other that that a top place

Nice venue, fod was very tasty, young bar staff and they worked hard. My friend bought me a vodka and tonic & when she gave it to me the bar person had tipped the tonic water into the glass & filled it up. I asked who did that as I said it was wrong. I tried to explain that she should have just put the bottle of tonic water at the side of my glass & it's up to the customer to decide how much tonic they would like to mix their own drinks. I got a very rude remark from this young lady & she didn't apologise or willing to learn & told me with a black look, well that's how we do it here. I've worked in many bars & hotels & I know I am right. Sooo you need to teach your staff how to serve drinks & this is the only disappoint I have as she ruined my drink.

Lively place offering a variety of activities, food and drink

Walked in on a Sunday morning to find out about what is coming up. We were given a tour by the wonderful bar manager. Showed us what's coming up. We shall be booking some events soon.

Great venue for 5 a side, great food and beers too! Convenient for station and some parking on site too.

Great cocktails and food, fab fish and chips. The TV is massive, so great for watching sports. Felt very covid safe, nice staff. Family friendly. Roll on Dec20 opening. Also has a happy hour :-)

Just been to the Players Lounge for the afternoon. Watched football on the box, whilst enjoying a pint watched the kids play 5-a-side football , watched some really bad golfers hit balls where they truely didn't want to hit them on a virtual screen. They do food, although I didn't have any looked great. The staff are attentive in ensuring the place is cleared and clean of any mess. If you haven't been then I highly recommend you pay it a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Great venue, great location right next to the station. Went for a few casual drinks at the weekend and will definitely be going back to try the activities on offer. Bar staff all super friendly and the selection of drinks suited my party fine.
