Planet Pizza in Croydon

This place is so filthy and the man that works there has so customer service at all and does not look like he even practices personal hygiene. Would not recommend.

I was shocked to find out a fraud had been committed on my card at this place

I am a regular customer every time they are very nice and great but today the guy is really rude and inpatient I said by mistake delivery and I said sorry I mean collection I spoke with him very nicely. He was very rude and rubbish customer service I have never see such bad customer service in my life

Do not mention the word quality. In the same sentence as Planet Pizza. I do not recommend.

Fantastic food and super tasty , ordered for the office and they enjoyed it so much ! As the order was over £500 we received free drinks and starters , such a great Christmas treat to my staff ! Thanks

This is my go to place for pizza. Lovely deep pan, lots of toppings, always arrives quickly and the driver is friendly.

I Have been a loyal customer for nearly 15yrs. Tonight I had just about enough I paid £26 for me and Granddaughter to have a treat. Very late arriving, and our food was extremely cold. I called up to explain how I felt, and the Sunday night manager on the 20th November told me that all I have to do is put my food in the oven, and heat it up. Sorry but this is unacceptable Customer Service behav iour. He also told me not to call his shop again. Believe me I and my family will NOT be ringing YOUR shop again. All I can say is if he can be rude to all his customers like he was to me, they must be doing extremely well. Oh, and by the way do not ever call me Darling again cause I am NOT your DARLING !!!!!!! sort yourself out !!!! and your BUSINESS!!!!!

Great food. Override other pizza places

We used to love this place. But after what happened today I'd love to give negative stars. Their website added random things to a very simple order and they claim they made no mistake. I don't like leaving bad reviews but the way I was treated on the phone was shocking. They asked me why I was shouting at them? Because you were misogynistic, calling me darling and you refused to listen to the problem at hand. Will never use you again!

The worst pizza I've ever had. A nasty gooey mess. After trying an failing to eat the first bite of the first slice it got thrown in the bin even though I was really hungry. Thank f for shreddies

Used this firm for ages as their Pizza's seem superior to the others in Purley and the surrounding area. Quick delivery service and quality food. Recommended

Absolutely disgusting! Please do not order any sort of bbq sauce, it is out of date!!! I have been sick from this, called to speak to the shop but the are soo rude and hung the phone up on me, I am fuming! We called to let them know it’s out of date and he kept saying ok and done nothing and hung up! Please do not order anything bbq

Avoid avoid Avoid! Once this place charged £189 For a pizza, luckily I checked my receipt. The man that was making pizza was coughing in his hand and wiping his nose.

Regularly order from here, the prices are pretty good but the quality is also good very tasty.

I’ve been going to this same pizza shop for the last 15 years maybe and have always gone back because I like the thick pizza base, generous topping and lots and lots of cheese without needing to ask for lots of cheese. Personally I think it’s far better than other well know competitors and will always choose plants pizza other the other options

Absolutely grim. Ordered meat pizza and Planet special. Disgusting bases and very greasy toppings. If you welcome indigestion you may enjoy the pizzas. Last time ever we order from here.

Just went in to pick up my pizza 5 mins after call and thwy still hadn't done it appauling service defo regret it. Taste and quality alone doesnt make me happy you need to have customer service.

TUESDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2018 JUST LIKE ANY OTHER TIME I ORDERED PIZZA, SIDES AND DRINKS. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SIDES OR DRINKS. BUT WHEN MY SON OPENED HIS PIZZA PLANET PIZZA HAD PUT BBQ BASE SAUCE ON TOP OF HIS PIZZA AS WELL AS THE BASE EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T ASK FOR ANY SAUCE OVER THE TOPPINGS. SO WHEN I CALLED THEM UP TO SAY THAT THEY HAD DONE THE PIZZA WRONG I WAS GREATED WITH A VERY RUDE MAN ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE. SO WHEN ANOTHER 1 WAS SENT OUT TO ME IT WAS THE WRONG PIZZA ALTOGETHER. SO NOW IT'S A COMPLAINT TO HEAD OFFICE AS THIS PLACE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

misleading when i ask for halal meat. they usually serve non-halal meat but they told me i need to call up to ask for halal meat, they did not instruct in the past and it could have saved me alot of hassle.

Been having pizzas from here for years ... very few mistakes and food is nice .... however... this evening .... EXTREMELY bad customer service. Got 1 of 6 pizzas very wrong. Always order the same thing. But the very rude man on the phone tried to blame us, then said " if you come and get the new one" then has the audacity to hang up on us after shouting us. We rang back, we are getting new pizza... " don't touch the other one we want it back in one piece!" Wouldn't give his name .... but he's lost them good business.

Well...... What can I day I placed an order for x3 pizzas and then I thought I would ring the takeaway to amend the order because I didn't want onions or peppers on the pizzas I then rang the takeaway the guy answered the phone I explained that I've placed an order and asked if I could amend the pieces and not put onions and peppers on them he said nope he can't make any changes it all has to be done through just eat now all I wanted him to do was just write a note to say don't put onions or peppers on the pizzas he was so rude he hung up on me I tried to call back numerous of times but wouldn't answer the phone eventually I got through on a different number he said he had not accepted the order but just eat shows they confirmed it because they added an extra 10 minutes to the order I then had a chat with just eat who cancel the order and refund of the money now what I was saying I would want anyone away from this takeaway it's an absolute joke and customer service is a disgrace if I could give it a -star I would give it 100 stars first time trying to order and it will certainly be the last what a joke of a company.....

Well, I really enjoy the pizza here and the garlic bread and onion rings rock too! However, it was an evening during early August (tonight) and I was really looking forward to munching down my pizza with my friends while guzzling a Dr Pepper. However, my Dr Pepper was instead delivered as a Diet Coke so I'm a little annoyed because I love a cheeky Dr Pepper and I felt bad to make them come all the way back just for a can of Pepz. So yeah, Great food but yeah, left a dry taste in my mouth..literally.

Pizza's were ok, sides also. We ordered 7up and chocolate ice cream but received coke and vanilla ice cream. As a new customer a little disappointed.

Went here half way through a pub session and it was spot on. I had a pizza hut for the first time in years a year or so ago, and it wasn't what it used to be. This however, was exactly what I was I was after. Would definitely return.

And that's that their pizzas are a bit too salty. As an occasional treat, however, this place offers the best deep pan style pizzas in the South Croydon/Purley/Coulsdon area (Oregano, across the road, does the best thin crust pizzas) and the guys who run the place are all friendly and a good laugh- even when you stumble in late at night after a few beers! There are some very good offers on the lunchtime deals (before 4 o'clock) and service is always quick. Please note that this is a takeaway/delivery place only, not a sit-down restaurant. Highly recommended if you don't mind the saltiness.

Have a take away pizza the other night and all was good. DO NOT SAMPLE THE FOOD FROM THE ORIENTAL TAKE AWAY PART OF THE BUSINESS, with the exception of the crispy duck. The duck is second to none but every other dish I have tried, rice, noodles, ribs etc are some of the worst I have ever had. Stick with the pizza from here

Its a take out only, no dine in. the place is run by ppl with east european accent, however they make up for the accept by their hospitality. have taken pizza quite a few times from here, less adaptations possible then other places, however, still better than many others. quality of food average, no problems, though not as much variety as some other places have..

I ordered a vegetarian pizza for delivery. I started eating it and it tasted different. I called them up and I asked what was on the pizza! He said tandoori chicken. I said I asked for vegetarian. He then said to me it's not very spicy. I said I am vegetarian and I was fasting and he turned around said what can I do! I'm really angry while writing this! His name was AHMED!!! I will be taking this further!!!! I will not be ordering from here again! This is the second time he has got my order wrong!!!!

Now that Tops South Croydon have stopped delivering to Purley, good old Planet is probably the best game in town. Their prices are much more reasonable than your Dominos / Pizza Hut although expect a bit more grease (although I don't mind the odd greasy pizza, especially after a couple of beers). They do some pretty good deals for collection, so if you're walking past drop in and save yourself a few quid (or convince them to take you home with the delivery :)

I don't know about you guys but I am a Deep Pan lover. The dough is really fresh and tasty and is not chewy at all. I love the taste of the cheese they are using. Recommended++++

Their pizza is cheap compare with the shops round, also I could get pizza when every other shop in purely were close in snow, there were friendly , and good customer, after that when call I them up for the order they charge me same price which is cheap, the test is good but you should know what you are ordering. I recommend to try their American hot pizza or the mighty meaty pizza which I loved.
