I don't reviews often, but as a local business myself, I like to add my bit to local businesses and support local industry places. Just as I expect my customers do. I have been using Planet Keebab for many years since I have lived here from 1998 till now. The family run business, is that... A family run business, you get 100% customer service and more. They truly are the best at what they do. They cook & multitask and talk to you at the same time. Making you feel welcome. Just a shame they don't have a sit in section more like a restaurant would have or I would be bringing my whole family every week to sit, eat, relax, have conversations, and more. If your into news, sport, politics, affairs, weather, family's then you can pretty much have a conversation with these guys. There so polite it is very rare to find this level of service & commitment to make you come back over and over again. Food is always great too, Even my children now get on well with the guy's, and I would highly reccomend if you want any great quality food or a keebab then try these guys they won't disappoint literally. All my friends go here, we even meet up often and walk down and chat & order food and I often sit on the chairs and eat mine in on the tables. But a sit down area somewhere would be great as I'd be in all the time to chill and eat. Well done guys keep it up and going and keep up the good work. Thankyou from me & my family. I visit your shop at least once a month, but I avoid coming in if I see Civan working. I don't feel comfortable receiving food from him. Apart from that, I respect the two brothers running the shop—they seem like hardworking, decent guys just trying to make a living. However, I believe your business could benefit from addressing this issue. If I had a daughter, I wouldn't feel safe sending her to your shop because of him. I wanted to let you know that many people in the Croydon area are aware of his reputation. Letting go of one problematic employee could significantly improve your reputation and, ultimately, your revenue.

Good food not too bad but expensive but they gave a best service

AVOID!! The workers have employed the ***** since he is closely related to them!! Knowing he’ a ***** and you bring him into business will hopefully end your business!!! Be ashamed of yourselves. You’re just as bad! I will never ever send my daughter nor my son to pick up food for me from here again. What a shame on you all!!!!

Absolutely disgusting. Avoid ! Doner meat tasted like plastic, the shop is dirty and the staff are rude. Pitta bread was so burned, I couldn't eat it. Pretty sure one of the staff is a p**** Edit.. to aswer your reply, yes its Mitcham Road planet kebab, not south Norwood. Why would I want a free kebab that tastes disgusting from a dirty shop? 🤔

Great place to eat, infact I'm there most days, and they know your order before you even order, great family team, and they get on well with my kids when we meet here. Food is delicious & the atmosphere great.

The chicken donner is very dry, and they try to fill the box with lots of onion and cabbage. They have an expired drink. Your response will be appreciatable. You don't provide any receipt. You only accept cash payment. Then how can you give me a refund?

Literally the best kebab shop around. Staff are always friendly, food is always on point and extra care taken with specific orders. Chicken burgers are a must. Chips with chilli and garlic sauce is on the secret menu. Just ask for it 👀🤙

The BEST kebab in Croydon, there is no competition. I have been to many places but nothing compares, on the more expensive side with large kebab around £8 but worth every penny.

Amazing food and great conversation any day of the week! Consistent high quality, my go to on a Monday and Thursday eve. They should be on YouTube (The Kebab shop) very friendly and still reasonably priced! Good job guys keep up the hard work!

Best Doner kebab in Croydon Mitcham area family run business, the two brothers and the their Dad provide the best customer services and the food. Great guys recommend it big time!!

We usually enjoy our food at Planet Kebab but this time was disappointing as did not get hummus in my falafel wrap even though it said it comes with hummus. Also the salad extra was a very stingy amount so the wrap was very dry without hummus and very little salad

I’m around Croydon twice a week for work and absolutely hate the area. However after discovering Planet Kebab, I now look forward to travelling down to Croydon and wouldn’t know where to eat if I hadn’t discovered this gold mine. This place is an absolute gem. The lamb shish is to die for. The chicken fillet burger is unbelievable. Fresh & great portions. The staff are friendly & professional.

Ordered tonight for the first time at this place and definitely the last Rip off for your money bought a mix of 3 kebab for £21. Okay £21 you expect it to be packed in there for that price until I open and what looked like a small meat and chips mess. Only got a mix of 2 and hardly any meat in there and the meat inside incredibly dry and the chips were tasteless and dry.

We bought 5 large doner and chips. The quantity they put is appalling. Do not go to them, they’re overpriced. They trick people by sweet talking the customers. We won’t be going to them again. Waste of money !!!

One of the best kebab spots in Croydon. Kebab has always been great here. Bit annoying about being cash only but the chilli sauce makes up for it.

I have known the entire family for almost 16 years and the level of food and their customer service has never disappointed me and they have always gone over and beyond plus the son always talks to you in a nice and professional manner I have ordered different food items from them and never once have they failed to deliver The food is to the best of standards I would recommend anyone to come here Hassan and his family have never disappointed me I even ordered chicken donor meal and chips and was served by Cihan 😊

Sadly I don't write reviews but I had to on this one as lately ive been feeling very short changed. I've been going planet kebab for years and the owner and sons are amazing. But there's this newish guy prob been there 2/3 years who is very stingy with the food. I don't expect my whole kebab including salad to fit inside the pitta in the box when I'm paying £9.50 for a doner and chicken doner mix, on 3 occasions I was still hungry after and felt short changed. Make sure the dad or sons create it for you. I seem to only get this guy serving me and he is ruining good relationships they built for years.

I've had chicken doners from Planet Kebab four times (once via Uber Eats, and 3 times I collected 'in person') For the Uber Eats order the notes on the order were followed and the kebabs arrived within 30 mins, nice and hot! The food here is amazing, it is truly delicious every time. They also make their own chilli sauce in house which is excellent. The chips are always very crispy too, never soggy or limp. Be aware if ordering in person that it's cash only (but there is an ATM at the post office a few doors down). Best chicken doner I've ever had, can't wait to come back again :)

Good kebabs, fab chilli and garlic sauces, excellent customer service hence why I have been buying food from this shop for over 20 years. The only thing I would change is the chips it has a weird texture.

One of the best kebab shops in Croydon. Meat is fresh and the garlic and chilli sauces are home made. Prices are also reasonable. £8-50 for a combination kebab is good value.

Honestly one of the best kebab joints I have been to. Not only is the food tremendous and delicious, the staff are very, very friendly and cool guys. Highly recommend people to visit. I have to also add that they have re-innovated the shop and have a new, fleshed out menu. To this day, their food is still top-quality!

Although they have a lot of good reviews. My experience was a let down. My lamb shish was so chewy. Almost as if it has been boiled instead of grilled and the portion was so small for the price. However it was packaged well.

Really great Kebab shop. The staff are always really friendly and also check how you like your food to make sure you’re happy with what you get. I always phone ahead, definitely worth doing especially with the social distancing at the moment meaning there’s a queue outside the shop.

I'm buying kebabs only from this place for the past 17 years because of the quality & excellent taste of the kebabs served by them. Tried different places few times,, but because of too much salt & uncooked meat, couldn't enjoyed those.
