It's a normal cafe to be honest nothing special but certainly not bad either.

Was staying in the area over the weekend and initially visited on the Saturday. Service was 10/10 - All staff are very attentive. Breakfast 10/10 best café I've been to in a while. Was so good I went back the next day before going back home. Will definitely go back whenever I'm in the area.

Good food, great service with a smile

Went here, bought a soft roll with tuna salad and a coffee which was delicious . Reasonable price. I recommend and would come back

Wasn't impressed. Bacon was a bit empty in my bacon sandwich and wasn't value for money

Good service and atmosphere, average food

I was very surprised to find out how poor Eddie's cafe experience was. Apart from the eggs that were cooked to perfection, all the other ingredients were extremely salty and tasteless. The sausage was completely extra fied that was completely dry burned 🔥 😫 The staff was friendlyI give them that.

Surprised to find open on Easter Monday, had a good priced set breakfast & a very good americano. My first visit & will be back in when I'm passing again A*A*A*

This is the best cafe in the area. The food is always very tasty, freshly cooked and served nice and hot. Coffee is great too. I highly recommend their full English breakfast. Everything is cooked great. Also good burger and chips too. Great value for money. Always very welcoming staff and quick service.

Ordered the big breakfast, but was very underwelmed at the size of it . . . . ONE sausage, ONE egg, TWO SMALL blobs of bubble, were a few of the items that were very disappointing. Value for money = No.

Good looks nice but after eating it you bad stomach ache this 2 time it's happened they need to clean up there cooking area

Easily USED TO BE the best cafe in Shirley, and Addiscombe, Good food, good service , reasonable price, nice atmosphere , BUT NOW.twice my son and I have had tummy probs after eating there..The food looks great but I think they need to clean up their kitchen and get back to the great food they used to serve.. Sadly gone down hill in a year

Cafe that's open when others are not. Friendly hosts with a good number of regular customers. Toilet for customers. Good range of set breakfasts, lunches etc. Quick service for take out. Reasonable prices.

Can't beat Eddie's Cafe, it's simple honest good an excellent kind staff The breakfast is banging and alwasy served with a smile. We love this place

I come here with my 2 daughters every Saturday. The service is great. Nice atmosphere. Food is delicious without being greasy. Definitely the best cafe in the area.

Delicious proper British food at a very affordable price, a real cafe, with quick service and a smile. You get fed for the price of an expensive coffee with a made up name! I had the Bully Beef (corned beef) and black pudding and it was super.

Not sure if the guy who serves me is actually called Ed, but I am a regular and very satisfied customer. Cash only but it’s worth every penny. I come religiously, and I can’t overstate the quality of this place.

Lovely little cafe! I called in this morning and got a bacon, sausage, egg and mushroom sandwich with a cup of tea. Took around 5 mins to make my order and cost me only £5.20 (which isn't bad at all for London prices) They also let me off 20p, since I didn't have any smaller change from a £20. Lovely place

First visit after my nephew recommend it, a solid breakfast offering, well cooked. Reasonable price and a good option to choose your own items, not bad at all.

I have been here many times and the breakfast have always been great. Everyone working there are super friendly and the coffee is fantastic , they also have oat milk to substitute for regular milk which a lot of cafes nearby don’t do . The poached eggs are the best. Very cheap and the portions are great. Nothing to complain about and I’ve tried pretty much every breakfast option there is . Love it here.

We have a number of great cafes in Addiscombe, this and one other is my favourite. Always look to go there every weekend. Great service with great food, and value for money.

Came here for lunch with a colleague. Polite staff, very clean and decent food. Will certainly be coming back at some point. Overall, one of Croydon's better cafe stops.

Really nice old school caff. Order what you want which I like. Staff seem bright. I figure they own it. Caff prices but table service.

only tinned tomatoes and mushrooms. Bread for the toast was nice but didn't taste like butter on it. Also budget tomato sauce why do cafes have to penny pinch like this?
