Pizzamisù in Nottingham

Cute little place with delicious food and friendly staff! Quick service too but we did have to pre order as our table was booked for 6 people.

A delicious pizza spot in Nottingham. Although the place is quite small, the atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. The service is a little bit slow, but this is potentially due to how busy it was and the fact that there was only one member of staff present at the time of our visit. However, the food was very tasty and arrived super quickly, piping hot out of the oven. The fries were also delicious and salty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We ordered our pizzas online for delivery. They were ranging in quality. One pizza was great, the other was fine but a bit greasy, the third had a slightly undercooked crust but tasted good. We did order on a busy weekend night so can imagine Pizzamisu was probably very busy that night, and understand that we probably didn’t try it at the best time or in the best way. They do offer vegan options for the pizzas, and a good selection of them so totally worth a try. If we were to try again, we would go in person to eat rather than order as takeout.

Brilliant customer service, fresh tasty pizzas and great prices. A great local restaurant, couldn’t recommend if enough!

We walked in on a busy night and were seated quickly. Pretty standard pizzas but, by far, the quickest preparation I have ever seen. It was not even minutes after ordering and the pie was at our table! Good spot for a quick bite.

Delicious pizza and friendly staff. The gluten free base was the best I’ve ever had. Fantastic that all the pizzas have a gluten free option. Totally recommend.

Return visit this time for a quick lunch before a business meeting. Not disappointed. Parmesan with mozzarella and rocket , but they blew me away with their outstanding and delicious home made spicy olive oil! Wow, so good I asked if I could buy a bottle! This place is such a gem, right in the centre of the city! Fantastic staff who can’t do enough for you. Believe me you should try it!

Love the decor in the restaurant & the service was prompt & friendly. Lots of pizza topping choices & selection of drinks available. The pizza was so yummy, I probably had too many toppings on mine as the middle went a bit soggy as the base is so thin but a very good crust! Will definitely come back & try less toppings next time.

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but it was a really underwhelming experience. We'd booked well in advance but were seated next to a door leading to a slightly enclosed, but very cold outdoor area on a cold evening. Before we'd even ordered the door had been opened half a dozen times & we were getting really chilly. The staff seemed oblivious, and left the door open. Luckily for us, a lady who we think was a manager noticed & moved us or we'd have left before ordering. I ordered a margarita plus artichokes & mushroom as additional toppings, these were charged at £2 each. I'd estimate that there were maximum 3 mushrooms and 2 artichoke hearts - pretty steep at £4! My husband's pizza was fine, mine was actually quite doughy & definitely undercooked in the thicker parts of crust, (which I didn't eat). £58 for 2 pizzas, 3 drinks and service charge. Staff were friendly - no fault there but there are lots of FAR better places to eat in Nottingham for same price.

Amazing napolitan pizza and Nutella tiramisu!!! We feeling like we were in Napoli 😊 The only thing me and my boyfriend didn’t like was the customer services. We booked our table and unfortunately when we arrived the only one remaining was on “summer” area (let’s call that) which is an open area cover with a plastic curtain,which will be grate for summer but not for winter times…because even the heater was on, the curtains wasn’t enough to avoid the discomfort of cold. I’ve asked for another table and yes we moved to upstairs. There was a waiter and she was looking like she wants to go home (the book was 8:30pm), because she basically took the order, and left. We ordered a side and it didn’t come till the end of our meal…we asked again and she brought it…but she didn’t have the care to give us another cutely and napkin. But definitely when we asked for the bill she was quickly…in second the bills was in the table. I just would ask for more care with customer and treat us as unique…because we were feeling as we were eating at any takeaway restaurant.

Pizzamisù is a hidden gem among Nottingham’s pizza restaurants! It was our first time eating here - staff were very welcoming, service from Tom was fantastic, lots of choice on the menu and the pizza was beautiful. The place has a lovely atmosphere and feel to it. This may be our new favourite pizza restaurant in the city - would definitely recommend!

Bearing in mind I am not a pizza fanatic, this seemed like a really good place. The pizzas were well priced and large, the edges were crispy but the centre very thin, which, as I understand it, is exactly how Neapolitan pizza is supposed to be. What stood out for me was the quality of the ingredients – the mozzarella in particular was very tasty, and the basil added a spicy touch (you could taste it for starters - often you can't). My friend, who is a pizza fanatic, said it was the best they'd ever had in Nottingham, and I am sure we'll be back before long. Everything on the menu was Italian, and there was no sign of selling out. Great little place - please keep doing what you're doing!

‘The’ best pizza in Nottingham … probably England! Recently found this place on High Pavement, Nottingham. Misleading as very small frontage, and thought it was a takeaway! A jewel of a place, run by Italians from Napoli. Friendly, atmosphere is fabulous and just like Italy 🇮🇹 Had a fabulous Pizza that can’t be matched in my opinion, the real authentic taste of Italian pizza, no cheap ingredients …. It’s all about the taste and customer satisfaction 👌 🇮🇹 Grazie, to all the staff, particularly Maria (previously Carluccios), and Ellis who despite us not booking got us a great table, and served us super quick so we could get out to see our show on time Fabulous Darlings …. Nice place in quiet part of town. Extensive pizza menu but strangely the pizzas weren’t that great. Taste wise, fine, crust great, but way too soggy in the middle. Thought it might just be due to my toppings but all in my party with different toppings had the same problem. Tiramisu was good but served in plastic tubs. Homemade, really? Disappointing.

Absolutely disappointed on what I and my friends have just had! Soggy pizza no taste and a side of chips what looked like my dog threw up on. Just paid 27 pound for this meal and drink which is shambles! Never will I go again. Not happy atall

Cross the threshold and you could be in Italy itself. Warm welcome awaits weather your eating in, taking out or delivering. Daniela is a joy to converse with whatever the subject and a all round lovely lady. Other members of staff are also eager to help in any way. I hope in the future to dine here given all the feedback ive recieved and experience that italian hospitality ive only heard about. Based on what ive seen and how the staff are in general i would recommened Pizzamisu as a must try .

A really busy place, part restaurant / part takeaway. It was a Friday night and we had booked but still had to wait for a while for a table to be free. However, it was worth the wait. The food, main courses almost exclusively pizzas, is really excellent - very authentically Italian. Good robust red house wine and good-humoured staff. We had a lovely meal.

What a place! Delicious pizza, plenty of choices. Yes you pay a bit more than some other establishments but my gosh it’s worth it. Lots of desserts and drinks too and they were delicious. The cosy atmosphere is perfect and service excellent

They very kindly squeezed us in as a table of two on a busy Saturday night and I’m so glad they did, this was the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! The staff were lovely, attentive and service was so speedy. Cannot wait to return!

I thought I had tasted the best pizza when I visited Naples….. but this was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! Staff were fab too and managed to squeeze us in when we had no reservation.
