Under staffed and very slow service, not great when you’ve got a flight to catch

Breakfast sandwich with egg is a joke. Reheated egg and bun. 7£ not value for many. Very small portion.

The company must lose so much money. Unfortunately cannot leave a review of the food as I didn’t get a chance to try it. Ordering system is via your phone. Anyone which has been in T1 will know mobile signal/ internet connectivity is poor. After discussing with on staff member that I have no signal whilst he sat next to the till. On the way out after not ordering, a women approached me and told me she had the same problem and has to BEG the staff to pay via the till. There were 2 staff members doing sweet FA. A customer has to beg to take their order. TERRIBLE. To the owners of the business, review your staff and ordering system as you will be losing money daily.

Took Funghi pizza and garlic bread, never had such a pizza in an airport. If you are travelling from Manchester airport do check out the place. The ordering process itself is so convenient if you know how to scan a QR code just a breeze images in the menu don't do justice but the outcome was fantastic. My go-to place in Manchester airport from now on. Do visit

Good place for having a decent pizza at a reasonable price inside the airport (not easy). The order takes place online using free WiFi and the process is pretty smooth and simple. What you order will be delivered to your table a few minutes later (around 15 in my case, around 3pm). The choices are limited but everybody can find something suitable for them. Pizza come in 10" or 13". They are not your best neapolitan style but they are good considering where you are and how much you are spending. The place is rather clean, I noticed waiters cleaning the tables as soon as they get left by people.

Friends sat down to order, and claimed a table with enough seats for me, who arrived 5 minutes later. Order scheme was through a QR code so they ordered before i arrived. Once i arrived, I was told, they aren’t taking any more orders then waiter turned away. Friends said pizza was okay.

Never eaten here before but will eat here again! The pane colazione (basically a breakfast butty) was absolutely delicious, the service excellent and Ahmad at Manchester Airport branch was really pleasant. Thank you! :-)

Instead of quickly ordering with the waitress, who had a card machine, I had to connect to the WiFi, scan a qr code and give them my email address. Frustrating and totally unnecessary

Bread was overcooked and was rock hard. Ruined the sandwich.

Pepperoni pizza was half the size of the plate and absolutely soaked in oil, had to hold it upright to drain it all off. Asked for a tap water and the staff “aren’t allowed to give water from the tap as it’s not filtered”. Bizarre. Wouldn’t give them my money again would rather give it to Burger King opposite. Also still hungry as the base is so thin so will Lao go Burger King anyway…

Garlic Bread with Mozarella is really nice. Nice size enough for 2 people. Staff are friendly and talkative

The waiter didn't wash his hands before making the food The bread was burnt Nutella and cheese was absolutely disgusting. Bacon and sausage were ok. No hot drinks served. Took longer than it should have, very expensive

Had issues with my phone couldn't order but informed cash only couldn't place an order with staff and pay by card, went to get some cash and the machine was down, how stupid is this, if you haven't got a phone or if its even working it's unfair to people that just want to order food and not bother with technology

Freshly cooked to order thin crust pizzas. Quick and easy tasty food before you travel, reasonable prices too for an International airport. Whats not to like?..

The Pizza was nice here! We also got wedges which were good too. Soft drinks are refillable. Much better than the other offerings in T1.

Nice to have this option but the pizza was like cardboard... Also they forgot the drinks I'd paid for and I had to remind them!

Best pizza you can have. Truly. Like I'd fly into Manchester airport only to get some no joke… and that's from someone who had lots of pizzas in many places. Do yourself a favor and pay the £11 just to experience it. I had the funghi one.

I would never buy food from here . we ordered a pizza on the pics its showing its going to be nice and tasty but in reality it was so thin and nothing there , it seem like we was eating crips , if they call this a pizza then they seriously need to do the research, I was going to say summat but my daughter stopped me , they seriously know how to rip people of and give false information, whoever goes there Please don't, i looked at other people's faces and I felt they felt the same , I will be going for my holiday again but I will never come here , they seriously need to take some training how to cook food properly, disgusting food and they charge arm and a leg

You are the disruptive element in the system: ordering via an app. Sitting at dirty tables. There is only still water. Due to the location in the airport, poor mobile reception when it comes to ordering and paying with the app. Fun fact: when you order you are asked if you would like to give a tip. And I ask myself: to whom? For what????

Asked if I could order to a staff member as internet was very slow, told no orders only via website, I finally managed to order via they webpage, I ordered two buffalo margherita I got instead two burt normal margheritas, waiter just left them on the table and gone, I could not be bothered to complain. Never again in this place for sure.

Pizzas acceptable didn't like the self ordering and had to chase our wine. First time I have ever had a pizza and not been able to have parmesan on it. Also pictures on the wall don't represent what is on offer. Won't be back

lol i never make reviews but i promised the employee to do so :) after i complimented them for the great pizza. its a very thin pizza with a flat rim, when you first see it you think its a hastily made pizza without love, but up close you see its tasty, good ingredients, you take the bite, its perfect, great taste and flavors, good feel in the mouth, perfect for a fast meal before going home, and no tummy issues on the plane hahahaha :) i really encourage people to try this pizza place

Pizza tasted very very good. They were freshly made unlike the other places in T1 l. And the prices were not as high as expected being in a airport. Would definitely stop there again.

The worst pizza place I have ever tried. The pizza is not pizza at all. It’s just tortilla bread tomato sauce and cheese. Something that you can make quick at home. It’s just not it. The “dough” which is not dough it’s like crispy bread was so bad because it feels like you’re eating crisps and not pizza. It just crumbles all over the place. Potato wedges had been there for a few days you could tell is not fresh and the garlic butter was so bad as well. You better choose Burger king which is just on the opposite side of the restaurant.

Asked if I could pay at till and was told I can only pay with cash, as I was having trouble with doing it on the website. 10 minutes later they let another customer pay card on till. Absolutely disappointed, I don't know if its laziness or what. Food was decent, but not worth the hassle of doing the online process.

Rude staff, one lad was swearing and waving dirty napkins around exclaiming how gross the table was. The other was being unprofessional also.

experience ended well with tasty food and a complimentary drink, albeit with a hiccup on ordering - scan the barcode at the table and make sure you get a reciept via email and all will be well. It's an aiport so the atmosphere is never going to reach 5* and the aircon might have been on the cold side for most - no one took their jackets off!

While PizzaLuxe's reviews seem to be inflated as of 5 months ago, and I didn't have one of these "fantastic" servers or staff everyone seems to be raving about, I can assure you the pizza still lives up to all the hype. I had yet to have a good pizza on my trip here in England, but I am glad I chose this before I left. The pizza came out what seemed like freshly cooked, and it was fanstastic.The pizza was indeed a little greasy, but this was easy to look over in the fact the flavor was absolutely fantastic! I ate every last bite, and even enjoyed the crust, which is rare for me. I asked for the garlic butter dipping sauce on the side with my pizza, as I wanted to dip the crust in it. I thought it was ok, but it really was just diced garlic and a little bit of butter. I think you should really love eating peices of garlic, otherwise save your money on that. All in all, I will definitely be returning, as I got to enjoy some great food, order from the table on my phone, and charge devices with there conveniant chargers under the bench seats. I would reccomend this to anyone looking to enjoy a nice pizza before their flight, or to anyone killing time. It is definitely worth it!

Pizza was inedible as far to much chilli on it queried the amount asked for another pizza was told it was advertised with chilli flakes and got nowhere. Awful experience I do not recommend at all.

Cold and not good disappoint bought it wedges potato 🥔 first cold and secondly, in small portions, not worth it for £3.99 I took pictures and posted that £ 3.99 is expensive Today 11 am

Pizzaluxe T1... Well, what can I say, my first ever undercooked pizza that is actually thinner than the greaseproof sheet it's served on! Very poor service to top it off, I would love to get my prepaid tip refunded. Avoid.

Dreadful. You can only be order via the internet and the pizzas are expensive and very poor. No hot drinks snacks Le and no cutlery brought with the food. Indifferent staff and just generally bad. This type of place should not be allowed to be on business. Avoid.

A hidden gem, located in terminal 1, opposite Burger King. Full breakfast on a pizza style bun for £6.50 at the time of writing. I would really recommend it just a shame not many people seem to know about it which is evident in thr number of people around me. Enjoy
