PizzaExpress Wembley in Brent

Very good food and friendly service. A special thank you to Mafruha ..who went over and beyond. All the other staff were attentive and helpful too. 🙂👍

The restaurant was really quiet so it was a surprise to take so long to be seated (despite us making a booking online). Service was terrible throughout, starters arrived for 3 of us, my daughters garlic bread arrived after we had finished eating, then strangely her dinner then arrived ages before ours so she was finished by the time ours turned up (it was an adult meal so no reason for this). Just to finish off from a bad experience, I had a hair baked into my pizza. Will not be returning again and would recommend you find somewhere else too.

That is the first and last time I will ever order from pizza express Wembley. I ordered the lasagne was clearly frozen before and just cooked in a metal container. Had no flavour, hardly any meat. Was so disappointed. I also ordered polenta fries, they were soggy with burnt cheese on top. I also ordered the bruschetta. The dough wasn’t even cooked properly and was also soggy. It was disgusting. Waste of my money. Had a few bits and through it in the bin. So like I said at the beginning the first and last time I ever ordered from Pizza express.

Avoid. Spend your money somewhere where your food arrives on time and where customer service is expected as the norm. We arrived at just before 5. Were sat orders taken swiftly and drinks arrived with no delay, we order a starter of two plates of dough balls. After waiting 40 minutes I asked three waitresses where our starters were; no answer. I went to the kitchens where a rather blunt waitress told me to talk to the manager, Nicola. I wish I had never bothered. She was rude, obnoxious and made me feel like I was asking too much for my starter after 40 minutes. To be told they are busy due to the delivery orders is not my problem as a paying guest. In all my years of visiting Pizza Express Nicola has to be the rudest head of house I have ever met. Sadly our starter and pizza then both arrived at the same time ten minutes later. I witnessed a large number of customers being frustrated by the poor level of service and slow delivery of food. The worse thing I witnessed was when a family with a young child was overwhelmed by the surroundings was not allowed to relocate to a calmer area of the restaurant. I shall never ever visit this restaurant again if I am in the vicinity for a concert and yes head office will be receiving an email. Do not waste your money or any time at this restaurant!

Salad Nicoise was a total washout. No anchovies, no capers, no beans, no dough balls or other bread, overcooked cold egg, cold potato, boring lettuce, I will never order this again. It used yo be good enough, but this miserable assembly almost ruined the excellent music.

Started queuing 2hrs before concert, told 30mins wait for food so we ordered. Had to chase main course after an hour of waiting, 4/5 dishes arrived over 5 mins, final meal didn’t appear until another time of chasing after others had finished meal. Food quality was variable, wasn’t worth the wait. We missed start of concert waiting to speak with manger and settle the bill. Won’t visit again.

Ordered pizza and dough balls from their vegan menu for delivery, but was sent normal butter instead of their vegan spread. Thank goodness we weren't allergic to dairy, otherwise the result could have been so much worse. I wonder how many times they have done this to others. I've contacted their customer services to deal with this.

We love the Pizza Express brand and were really lucky to get a table here before the football at Wembley. However, we left very disappointed with everything about this place today. The drinks arrived promptly, then we waited and waited and waited for our pizzas....

This Pizzza Express branch is most certainly nothing special and way below average as the pizza margherita has the quality of no better than a frozen pizza at ten times the price.

I have been a Pizza Express customer for nearly 40 years now, and what I like about them is the quality of the food and consistency. This place is no exception. Not terribly easy to find - it's on the top floor of a shopping centre. I had a Romana style spicy chicken pizza, and my wife had a salad Nicoise. We had a drink each (wine / beer). No starters or deserts. Standard was very good, and the same as you'd get at other PE's. Bill came to just over £40. The restaurant is on two floors, and we came along at about 5pm on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of tables free. We were able to come and go within an hour, which suited us as we had a gig at the Arena to go and see (5 mins away). In my opinion, eating here is a much better option than buying food in The Arena, in case that's where you may be spending the evening.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and was surprised by the expanse of the two storey interior. Very funky booth partitions and a welcome change to the menu. Had the best chicken Cesar Salad I’ve had in ages and my friend had the carbonara pizza, the best pizza I’ve ever tasted, will have that next time.

Food and service good as expected in a Pizza Express. We had asked to beated outside but manager said the staff weren't serving outside as "it was too cold and the staff only had t-shirts" (It wasn't cold at all. Also, jackets exist.). Sat down inside to eat and 30 mins later staff were seating people outside. It was my husband's birthday so didn't want to cause a fuss, but it was boiling in the restaurant! Why not just say they don't open outside seating until X time? Absolutely bizarre.

We decided to have some dinner here before the England game and it was lovely. We had to queue for about half an hour to get a table but everywhere was the same because of the match. The waitresses were run off their feet and they could probably of done with a few more working considering how busy it was. But the food was lovely still and we didn’t wait long for it.

My daughter and I visited this restaurant on Friday 15th June 2018 before attending the Ed Sheeran concert. Yes, we had to queue which is to be expected on a busy evening but not for long. We choose to sit outside on the balcony but were offered a table inside. The menu was adapted to allow for an efficient service on a concert evening but still offered a good choice. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and competent and took our order as soon as we were ready. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. We were impressed by the team spirit of the staff all working together to provide an efficient and happy service for their customers. When we required the bill, our waiter make eye contact immediately and made sure everything was to our liking. Well done Pizza Express for being so well organised and taking the stress out of finding somewhere to eat on a big concert night. Much appreciated, thank you.

My fiancé and I attended the Ed Sheeran concert at Wembley on Thursday 14th June. Before the show, the outlets and all the restaurants were completely packed out but we chose to join the Pizza Express queue in the shopping area and we were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff were attentive, efficient and just generally made us feel welcome. Their service and table manner was impeccable and two of the waiters looking after us went the extra mile to ensure we had a brilliant meal before the show. I would personally like to thank Germano and Francisco for their wonderful service and believe they excelled in every way that night under the busy circumstances. Well done to them and to all the team, who created delicious food and ensured the queue kept moving quickly. Thank you! We will be back again!

We went to a Tottingham Hot Spurs game at Wembley and decided to stay in the area for dinner. Pizza Express was packed. We didn't have to wait long for seating, they were well prepared to handle crowds.The staff was friendly but not very helpful. The food was good but we were all very hungry. I wouldn't rank it as high as brick oven pizza in the states. No one left hungry but there are other places I would go first.

Worst service ever accept they was busy but even so I was not impressed. Had too ask for the bill 5 times and then another 20 mins too pay for it and the pizza was not very good as well uncooked. Never again.

We came here prior to an event at the SSE Arena. It was very busy as you would expect at a weekend. The staff were very friendly and found us a seat quite quickly. We had the Lasagne and Garlic bread which was absolutely delicious! There were no surprises as it is part of a chain withe the same menus at all of their branches I would imagine. I would go back again, which is recommendation enough I suppose!

Party of 5 went there for a early dinner at 1830, from start to finish had a lovely experience , she was so good after paying a bill of £147.50 gave her a £20.00 tip.The manager was also lovely , was extremely busy but will run must say.

We had quick dinner before going to movie. We ordered Buffalo Mozzarella & Tomato Salad as starter and Pizza Vegan Giardiniera and Pizza Margherita with extra mushrooms and Jalapeño for the main course - all for sharing. Pizza Margherita with extra toppings turned out to be more delicious than Giardiniera. Service was reasonably good and fast enough for our time requirements.

Chain restaurants can vary in quality in food and service. However, both were set to maximum this weekend at this restaurant. Even though there was an event on at Wembley (football). The quality of the food was great and the service from our waiter was outstanding.Will be back - when we are in the area.

Gone for few drinks and dinner on 30th July in the evening, the gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and asked us to sit anywhere The waitress came along took our order for bottle of wine and food and after serving our bottle of wine and pizza and pasta never came back once, as I wanted to order some more food and drinks had to call some other waiter to serve us, towards the end of the meal our waitress came and asked if everything was ok If you want to spend a quality evening with someone I won't recommend this place Sad otherwise this place has a nice Ambiance and nice interiors only if they got the service right

arrived tea time table of 4, quick service with drinks and food however food was nothing special. American pizza had very small pepperoni on it and was crispy however someone's else in the party had the same and there's was very hard. Salad was mediocre and small portion, garlic bread was not what expected and was just a slice. Desserts we're good but you can really go wrong with dessert! Overall the bill came to over £110 for 4 of us no alcohol and for what you actually get I think is very overpriced and can get better elsewhere! Staff were friendly enough and place was clean.

We popped in here on our way to see Adele. It was really busy but the wait wasn't too bad. Food was great, usual high standard I expect at Pizza Express. The highlight of the meal though was the fabulous, fabulous service of the lovely Chloe. She was so sweet and funny and really efficient, what a credit to her employers. Well done Chloe.

This Pizza Express is located on the top floor of London Designer Outlet so is really handy if youre shopping or at an event at Wembley or the SSE.I popped in yesterday for a quick lunch. Being a wet weekday with no events on it was almost empty, so i got a large table by the window and was served quickly and very attentively. The lady who waited on me was absolutely brilliant- one of the friendliest waitresses ive come across in a long time!I had dough balls which were perfectly cooked and a La Reine which was excellent (the waitress suggested i try it with chicken, and that was certainly a good recommendation!).Overall a lovely lunch and a very reasonable price tag too.

To be honest, Pizza Express was our second choice as we though it may have been quite expensive as we had 4 growing boys ( between 11 & 9) and two 3 year olds with us. We had decided to opt for Jimmy’s buffet, round the corner ( where we had ventured to because of the prices) but were disgusted by the manager at the front desk so came back to our original choice. We were immediately greeted by with a smile ( even having seen so many children!) The strategically placed us in a little cubby section ( towards the left of the restraint past the disabled toilets) which suit us fine as we could keep all children contained there! ). The children were given ample crayons and activity sheets to get on with while they waited for their food. We were served by about 5 members of the team – each of which showed impeccable customer service. Food was good as always, although I think the boys needed more than the kids meal! The mushroom starter was so yummy as were the dough balls. Kids meals included babycinos which the kids were chuffed with. Will definitely be going again :) It was about £100 for 6 children and two adults, definatelty more than Jimmys' but worth every penny.

Had booked on line to have a meal and drinks for 6pm prior to attending a concert at the SSE Arena. Seated upstairs immediately we went through the door, the place was packed with fellow pensioners all attending the same concert and a sprinkling of youngsters probably wondering why the place was stuffed full of oldies. Orders and drinks taken and provided by a delightful young team member, very attentive, aware and friendly throughout the hour or so we were there. Food was served by other staff coming up from the open kitchen, all of whom were also very pleasant.Good vibrant atmosphere throughout and a really pleasant experience. Value wise it is fairly good but, for whatever reason, I always think, probably because it is a restaurant chain, the experience should come cheaper, which is, of course, unrealistic!

Ordered as take out. good but thought tad pricey. Once again London prices but you expect to pay more due to the area.

Despite it being a busy Saturday lunchtime, we were able to get a seat quickly and were served efficiently and with a smile. Standard as you would expect from this chain - which can be comforting in itself.

Vouchers were not available on the day due to the game, so taking the restaurant on the basis of the "Event Menu". Table had a view over the outside area which was nice.Drinks were fine, however, pizza was overpriced for a near £12 pizza to be about 12inches in diameter and really only have a sprinkling of ingredients on.The we had staff that could not be understood very clearly, and there were others in full view us, who were eating, which was not great... (keep any food for staff in the back... not in front of hours please!).We were desperate to eat, but felt a bit ripped off... other chains far superiorDon't think I would go back to this one...

Arrived here with out two month old baby and the family in tow and were made to feel very welcome. Superb baby changing facilities. Ordered up the dough balls to start which were stunning and a diavolo with extra chicken for main all washed down with a bottle of nastro. Locked up an online voucher saving several pounds and had some giggles there with the team. Oh and really high ceilings too oddly!!Will return.

This was my second visit to this pizzeria. The service provided was very good. The menu had changed, but for the better. I was pleased to see that there was more vegetarian choice. This establishment also accepts Tastecard which gives you 50% of food Inc desserts and starters.

Can't fault the service, friendly and waiting time for our pizzas was under 10 mins. Ordered the Sloppy Giuseppe (Hot spiced beef)...nothing hot or spicy at all, bit bland. Will check out a Pizza Hut next time in London.

We went for lunch before a concert. It wasn't extremely busy at the time, but you could tell they were preparing for a rush due to the evenings concert. We received good service, albeit every time a waiter came to our table it was someone different. Food was good and turnaround was quick. Visually it seemed clean and fresh and it's in the perfect location for shopping and concert goers. All in all you can't complain for what it is, good standard of food for a restaurant chain.

The Pizza Express restaurant in the London Designer Outlet mall is a pleasant, light and airy restaurant although the tables are all quite close together. We went for an early lunch and were seated quite quickly. The food is the standard Pizza Express menu. Our order was taken quite quickly and our starter didn't take too long to be served. But the restaurant then started to get very busy due to lots of families with small children leaving an event in Wembley Arena. Consequently, we had to wait a long time for our main course to be served. I think this was just a case of insufficient staff to cope with the number of customers. It wasn't a lack of serving staff - there were plenty of waitresses waiting to serve the food. I think the problem is that there are not enough kitchen staff.

Nice food but make sure you tip in cash direct to server. I was going to add a tip on when paying by card however my father asked if they got the tips. Server replied that they get 70% of them. I thought that was disgusting. No wonder most of the staff look so miserable.

I visited this restaurant with a group of 12 women as we were at a conference at the arena. Despite near 11,000 hungry women descending on the area, the staff were calm, efficient, polite and super helpful. I had a terrible experience the day before at Coast to Coast, having waited almost 45 mins for a table and another hour for food... this place was a complete contrast!As a 5.5 month pregnant lady, I really appreciated their efficiency and speed all while maintaining friendly faces.They will definitely be my first choice when we attend the conference again next year!

We were ready for some pizza and PizzaExpress sounded perfect - pizza in express time. Oh boy were we disappointed!! The waiter couldn't stand still and was in sight and outsight. When we managed to get his attention and asked for our pizzas he looked confused but promised within 5 more minutes (this was after a 40 minutes wait!) it took 20 more minutes to get our two pizza's. The pizzas were very good, but the overall experience terrible! We will not return! Even got charged for some roasted tomatoes he wanted us to taste but we never received!!

80650 people all trying to exit stadium and eat. Sure. My most favourite pizzas in the whole world and happily eat it over most things. Had the smallest que on the day too... so we only waited 20 odd mins. Good service, starters almost instantaneously on the table. Very disappointed that the restaurant refuses to honour all of pizza expresses discount vouchers. Given how busy they were. very impressed; friendly and helpful service, albeit a little slow; very impressed with the food and the helpful staff.
