Great little pizza place in Harrogate, the pizza is top notch, staff are nice and the service is good! For lovers of real traditional neopolitan style Pizza this is a great place to be!

Delicious authentic Italian pizza, fast friendly service, reasonable prices and funky retro atmosphere...loved it all!

Ordered a takeaway, told 19:40 for pick up but waited 30 minutes until we received after chasing. No apology just thrown the food in boxes into hands. Such a shame as is a popular spot but don’t bother taking takeaway orders if your eat in is slammed and kitchen cannot meet demand.

Bit disappointed... Wanted to try this place for ages but hadn't got around to it. We were having afternoon drinks in north bar (fabulous spot) got a bit peckish so we decided to try out a pizza, as we spotted that they had just finished opening up. My partner popped in and asked to see the menu for takeaways. He was told to wait outside, even though he was the only person in there. A server then came out of the restaurant with the cash machine in hand and coldly asked what are you having, still no menu. All a bit odd!! Think Harrogate might have over estimated an average stone baked pizza because it was the first! Or did the unfriendly service taint our opinion?

Great little place- and I really do mean little!! Fab pizza and a good selection of wine and beer. The staff were friendly and courteous. We would definitely go back.

We had this take-out which was still hot after walking back to our hotel, 5mins away. Great options of pizza, more traditional and more unique. Their house special sauce is very good too.

AMAZING - The very very best pizza, not just in Harrogate but in my view ANYWHERE. We just love the base, and it is so good I never need to venture beyond the margherita, just melt in the mouth. Also like cosy atmosphere, tables outside in summer and the simple drinks and dessert menu. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

There is a bit of a story here with a good ending. We went to the North Bar next door before heading to the theatre. We wanted some food and North Bar said go to Social pizza next door you can eat it here. So we did. We were promised it would be with us by 10 past 7pm (we were seeing a play at 7:30pm. They had a good 40 minutes to make this happen. They were very busy. We had ordered 1x pizza. Nothing arrives despite boxes of pizza being brought in and taken across to the theatre. We go around and they say they will make use one now but it is now gone 7:20pm and we don’t want to take Pizza across to theatre. So we won’t to the theatre hungry. Anyway after theatre about 9:30 pm we head back there and remind them about our pizza and they made us a fresh one there and then. Really lovely and apologetic. We were very hungry by then and can confirm pizza was delicious worth waiting for although would have been better earlier! I would not let this put me off going there again if we were in the area.

I cannot say enough how great this place is. I googled pizza places in Harrogate and this came highly recommended. Everyone was spot on. Perfect Neapolitan pizza, well priced, good service and I loved the venue. Definitely recommend booking. I was a walk-in early lunchtime, but by 1pm, all tables were full.

Truly divine pizza! We were in town for a convention and did a quick search to find somewhere to eat. So glad we settled on Pizza Social. Highly recommend if you're craving delicious pizza. Adding burrata to the top makes it that much better!

Absolutely fantastic! This is the best pizza I've ever had. The Venison needs to stay on menu! The playlist was superb, and the staff were passionate and attentive to everyone. Forget the generic spots on the high street—this place is outstanding!!

I have been to pizza social several times, but last night was truly exceptional. They were extremely short staffed, but Izzy gave us the best service and the pizza was phenomenal. Always a great experience when we go. Highly recommend!

10/10 food! First time visiting after being religious Rudy goers and this place topped it. The dough was perfect and the selection of toppings on the pizza is none like I’ve had before, the Nduja Sausage with blue cheese, what combination. The house dip is sooo good too. The flavours all work so well together. Great quality and amazing flavour. The dessert with their own ice cream WOW. Please try. If you fancy delicious pizza that has a combination of top chef flavours, this is your place. Thank you for delicious food.

We have our netball socials here after training as a mid-season treat and the guys at pizza social are great hosts! Amazing food and atmosphere and can’t wait for the next one.

We were craving pizza for lunch after a long drive to Harrogate and spotted Pizza Social on Google Maps. The weather was good so we were able to sit outside, and the food was excellent. We shared the anchovies and olives to start and then the Truffle Shuffle pizza between us, which was amazing. Great value for money too.

Definitely the best pizza in Harrogate and one of the best I've had in the UK. Every one I've had is great but I usually get the "Hang Ten". We eat in sometimes and get takeaway a lot. Cannot recommend enough

Sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine eating a gorgeous wood fired sourdough pizza, couldn’t wish for more! Was a great way to spend our Saturday afternoon, really delicious pizzas with speedy friendly service. Lots of vegan options too.

Best pizza in Harrogate, hands down! A returning customer and will be for a long time. Service is always 10/10, food 10/10 and the atmosphere is always good! A must visit!

First visit, eaten as just opened. One of the pizzas was over cooked. It was like eating charcoal but hey ho the dog enjoyed it. Asked if everything was okay and I told her about the pizza being over cooked and she would pass it on. Asked for the bill and I think it was the owner who brought it to me. Thinking he was going to apologise. Nothing, very disappointing!

We enjoyed the pizzas 🍕 , delicious and very filling. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great.

Pizza Social is a nice little place which makes tasty pizza combinations. It’s not the best pizza I have ever had, but certainly a lot better than a lot of bigger restaurants offer. I do feel the price of the pizza is slightly higher than some places I’ve visited, but maybe that’s because of the area. Either way, I’d eat here again, so when it comes to pizza that’s a seal of approval from me.

We did really like this place for pizza however the vegan pepperoni tasted strange. My husband isn’t vegan but likes the meat alternative . I asked the waitress what kind of vegan pepperoni is it but she didn’t know which was fine but didn’t go out of her way to give us an answer other than “sorry not sure” . Seems a shame as it is quite clearly a very popular choice . I think it could do better in vegetarian choices as pizza base which they pride themselves is perfect. Service was also great , venue great as I say maybe more veggie options .

I went here with my boyfriend this evening, I’d been before and loved it but I wanted to take him. He finds it quite difficult to try new foods but after I told him how amazing it is he said he’d love to try it with me. He was absolutely blown away with the food, he couldn’t believe it and said it was the best pizza he’d ever had. We’ll definitely be back again!!!

Good honest little pizzeria, best pizza in Yorkshire by a country mile. The toppings are so carefully thought out and just work so well. Each one is a clever celebration of carefully thought out flavours on the tongue. I love the place. Good service, quirky choice of drinks, good draught beer (Menabrea) and good value. Get a table booked now, you can't lose!

This pizza was excellent, and I would recommend it very highly. The place is on the small size for seating, but they do have outside seating available. They do have lots of high chairs for small kids.

Hands down one of the best pizzas of my life (nduja love me). Absolute perfection of toppings over a beautiful and flavourful sourdough base. I sat down outside as the restaurant was fully booked. Perhaps because I was sitting outside service wasn’t as good as attentive as they should’ve, even more for someone sitting by herself in the cold: waitresses passed by me several times after I was finished and it took a while until I could pay. I’ll definitely be coming back tho, the pizza is too good.

The best way to describe this pizzeria is " small but perfectly formed." I guess ] handle around 30 diners, so booking ahead is essential to avoid disappointment. It was busy but the staff did a great job 👏 The absolute highlight is the pizzas, very , very good using the finest ingredients, cooked to perfection and delicious 😋, The chef excelled here, and we told him so before we left. Plus, forgot to mention we had the Pud Pud dessert, and it was spot on ! Absolutely no negatives and highly recommended. Enjoy.

I came in around 7pm And they kindly found me a table for 1. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. The pizza was excellent quality and value. Even though they had a huge pre booked party arrive just after me I still felt like I was well attended to.

Fabulous place! We went as a group of 23, adults and children. We had the restaurant to ourselves (believe it seats 25). The restaurant allowed us to book the place out from 13:30-16:00 for a Xmas get together. The waiting staff were attentive, on the ball, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The food was magnificent! We didn’t preorder yet the food came out with little to no waiting and was delicious. The cocktails were fantastic! Thank you for such a marvellous experience! Amazing pizza with such a friendly team- we organised a Christmas gathering and were treated very well. Adults and children had a great time- highly recommend this place if you want a relaxed and independent place to eat - and the best pizza in Harrogate!

The decor is great and fits with the “social” title and being able to watch the pizza making in progress is enjoyable. The starter of dough sticks was served quickly and a good size to share between two people. The garlic butter was probably a bit too hard but otherwise it was delicious. The pizzas themselves were also really tasty - the ideal size and cooked perfectly. I went with the special which was a carbonara, and the creamy base worked well as an alternative to tomato, it was just a shame there wasn’t more meat added to the topping. The ‘truffle shuffle’ was also good, with the truffle not being overpowering. The sweet chilli dip actually had quite a pleasant kick to it, and the house dip was delicious. The portion of cherry ice cream as desert rounded everything off well. Overall its a great place and possibly my favourite spot for a pizza in the town now.

We were in the north bar next door who said we could have the pizza delivered there. Instant result, then we got the pizza. My friend is tomato intolerant so we got the special which was ricotta base. I have never had a more delicious pizza in my life ( and I’m quite old!) but buy pizza from here if you are fortunate to live in or be visiting Harrogate!

I am writing this review as we are sat outside eating… hands down the beat pizza we have ever had!!! The dough is INSANE the pizza sauce is smokey and sweet with the beat toppings going! If we lived closer inwould come back week after week!! The owner, the chef and staff should be immensely proud!! We will be back and this place is a must!

Had an amazing night at Pizza Social. Super friendly service, incredible pizzas; small restaurant but a big personality. Only downside it’s 2 hours away from where I call home! When in the area again we’ll be back and can’t wait!

The pizza is to die for. The only let down was they did not serve gin or any other spirits, I realise you can’t accommodate to everyone’s needs however a few bottles of some spirits wouldn’t go a miss in a bar.

My wife and I found pizza social 2 months ago completely by accident on our way back to Kent from Scotland. We had an amazing dinner, so much so that whilst on holiday with friends in the north of England this week, we made the hours journey again, and we were not disappointed. This time with two friends and a baby, The Pizza Social crew sat us quickly, read off all specials and explained the menu. Plenty of options for both vegetarians and vegans (which our party consisted of) and a great selection of drinks. Service was top notch and food was WELL worth the journey. Everyone was happy including the baby. We bought ourselves a t shirt and a hat (which was hand made by a member of staff, amazing) and paid for our meal which was reasonably priced considering the high standard of the food. All in all, this place is well worth any journey, just make sure you book a table because it’s very popular, and for good reason. Can’t wait to visit again!

If you’re wanting to eat in-house, definitely prebook! We wanted a table for two, early in the evening at 6:10pm on a Wednesday and were informed we’d need to wait until at least 8pm to get a table! So, next option offered was order a takeaway and eat this next door in the cool drinking establishment called North Bar, so my son and I did just that. Collected the pizzas from Pizza Socials front door, boxes given with an ‘enjoy’ and a grateful smile. As for the pizzas, (sadly) not as good as I’d hoped for after reading the fab reviews and current No.1 pizza ranking for Harrogate. My 12-year old son had the Margarita and me the Holy Pepperoni (with a little warning it’d be spicy). The boy was happy enough, mine well actually pretty bland tasting, hardly any pepperoni topping and not enough heat to warrant even mentioning about the added chilli flakes. For me for the price of this 12” pizza at over £13 this was expensive and not worthy of the cost, compared to elsewhere in Harrogate the Italian restaurant - Portofino offer a 2 course meal for £12.95 which can include a truly fabulous (and much larger) pizza with way way more toppings for less money. Hey but you pay your money, you make your choices. On this occasion the ratings & ranking in my personal opinion swayed me to the wrong front door. The pizza was still ok, just could’ve been and from the hype should’ve been better….. 3****

The pizza is authentic Neapolitan! Excellent taste, fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked thin crust! The Prosecco was great and their housemade blood orange sorbet hit the mark for dessert! What a find, can’t wait to return!

Went last night and sat outside, the first time we’ve been. This place is amazing, we had the dough sticks (so good!), burrata and garlic butter to nibble. Then a margarita and truffle pizza. This is the best pizza in harrogate and surrounding area hands down. You can really tell they’re passionate about food and the quality of ingredients. The vibe was lovely and the foh staff were really helpful and friendly. So good to have somewhere like this in harrogate, definitely coming back. Keep it up! 🙏

This is a hidden gem - totally delicious pizzas. Small selection of toppings and not your usual but it is still hard to decide as they are all good! A nice buzz on an evening as the atmosphere is relaxed with lots of chatting and good service.

We came in early evening for dinner with our little girl (nearly 2!)the pizza was amazing as always however our little one wasn’t the happiest about being inside and decided she’s wanted to spend our meal shouting. I just wanted to say thank you to all your staff, they were absolutely super with her, giving her stickers and trying to distract her as they walked past so we could eat our meal. So thank you! We will be back, maybe without the toddler 😂
