Great tasting pizza and super friendly staff. Loved the two for £10 cocktails! Our booking was for 13 people and the staff coped with us. Can’t wait to go back.

Been using this place for 20 years(when it was over the road) and it was the best pizza place in Bury. The last couple of years it has declined from its former glory. Pizza bases not the same and the classic Meat Treat isn't the treat it was. Sorry but I think my love affair with Pizza Pioneer has sadly come to an end

Hi well I come here for my 1st time and what can I say the staff are really good even offer me a bottle of coke and it was really nice as I saved £1.95 and the pizza 3 for £15.00 and I would even recommend the 12” pizza and 2 beers for only £15.99 so guys go and try it and you see what I mean they even deliver or u can sit in or takeaway we’ll try for yourself and see

Pleasant friendly staff and quick service. Tasty pizza and nice glass of red wine. Clean and quiet restaurant just a short walk away from the Met theatre.

sorry we went in today for our ( was ) favourite pizza and was so disappointed with it am sorry to say we shall not be going back , when we told the staff about it they said it was what we always had , my friend left hers and was offered a drink , so sorry we wont be seeing you again

I have been using pizza pioneer since the day it opened, not sure how long it is but definitely 25+ the last couple of times I’ve enjoyed it as usual, even though they’re now at Dominos prices! After tonight’s delivery thought I’ve decided it’s just not worth it anymore. Expensive slop at best, awful pizzas and can get better at half the price!

Cheap processed ingredients chicken out of a can very mean portions had to eat again when I got home. Money spent on the interior rather than the food. Won't be going again

Visited a few times after a night out. Always made welcome and usually around 11pm so opten til late. Tasty pizza and licensed.

My family has dined at this restaurant twice this year, whilst visiting Bury for the Thomas the Tank Engine event at East Lancs Railway. The food is delicious, and plentiful and offers excellent value for families. Children's menus weigh in at £3.99 while the £4.99 option includes a dessert. Staff go out of their way to make you welcome and there is a cosy lounge area in the window for relaxing, plus outside seating for the finer weather. There are some really interesting pizzas, such as steak and hot dog varieties, plus a number of good pasta options for vegetarians. The garlic mushrooms are also highly recommended. The restaurant is also licensed, if you fancy a drink, with wine at a very reasonable £9.99 per bottle. A great place to wind down at the end of a busy day, so give it a whirl!

Had pizza for dinner with friends. Food was very nice, service was acceptable. Sat outside and floor underneath hadn't seen a brush in years. Was given a trident instead of a fork (I don't like three tined forks) but have a good selection of wine/beer and other drinks.

I really enjoyed the greek style pizza that I had a while ago (3 for £15 with some colleagues) and couldn't fault it. I've also recently just had a slice for £2 which I also really like - peppers and onions and quite a generous slice so it's a perfect lunch.

popped in for a quick snack with my fiancée on a trip to bury, we both ordered a large slice of pizza, which came with a glass bottle of coca cola for only £2:99! the staff were very polite and helpful, and the pizza was delicious!!! we will be visiting again soon!!

We have been here a couple of times now. They have a eat in, take away and delivery service. The delivery service we experienced wasn't great it took well over an hour before the pizza arrived we were told 30 mins and after calling them twice we finally received our order. The shop is 2 miles from our home so not sure what happened. We've only used the delivery service once so might have caught them on a bad day to be fair. When using the eat in and takeaway service we have been very happy with the quality and taste of the food. They have plenty of staff working there so service in store is great. The pizza itself is very tasty and certainly worth a try 👍

Pizza pioneer is a friendly run cafe/restaurant that serv s lovely hot drinks and food. Plenty of seating including undercover outdoor area. Well worth a stop off for refreshments.

Ordered from here many times, different pizza every time but always spot on service and quality. Recommend to anyone!
