If being White British was a food, it would be that sad excuse for creamy pasta, void of any flavour - it was as if someone just decided to cough flem up and mix some pasta in with it. The pizza was ok and for £21 the staff could atleast fake a smile.

This is poor. Expected a lot more from Alton Towers. Very over-priced. Food quality worse than a supermarket basics range. No desserts, limited drinks options. It is all you can eat but even then it’s simply not worth the £21 per head because I didn’t even want to go back for seconds. Disappointed.

Quite reasonably priced with it being in a theme park, drinks are included. The pizzas are quite well made and tasty the pasta is alright but good in the sense it is a buffet. There are the usual soft drinks available as well as some hydrating fruit juices! Overall a great place to get some energy back to get back out to the rides!

The food was okay, but the way the manager (short pink hair) treated me was nothing short if rude and disrespectful. After highlighting to the lovely staff member on till that I have coeliac and a dairy intolerance, they went to get the manager to "talk me through" things. Fab. That's where the good experience ended. The manager walked over, chucked a folder filled with spreadsheets on the counter , and said, "Information is in there." Then, litterly turned their back on me and lent on the reception desk. When I looked through it, it was extremely confusing, and there was no mention of gluten-free pizza alternatives. By this time, there was a big queue. I feel uncomfortable enough because of the stigma that people have about people with allergies, coeliacs, and intolerances. When asked if there was a gf pizza available, the manager huffed, turned around, and said very abruptly, "There's pepperoni, ham and pineapple, or margarita. Which one do you want?" Wow. Just wooooooow. By this time, there was a big queue of huffing, sighing, eye rolling customers waiting. I've never been made to feel so awkward, uncomfortable, and embarrassed. We spent roughly £150 for 7 of us. I could only eat the made to order pizza (tasted okay thankfully) and didn't dare touch the salad bar because of cross contamination. We were stopping in the tree houses for 2 nights. Luckily, I had bought ready meals I could have because Alton Tower is absolutely appalling for dietary requirements. When will they realise that having coeliacs or any allergies/intolerance ISN'T A CHOICE! For the prices they charge, do better, merlin! You seriously need to retrain your pink haired manager or sack them. The other serving staff member was lovely, but when they're apologising because their manager is acting appallingly, you know there is a BIG issue.

£21 per head, unremarkable service but my god, the food… £21 each!? Same experience to a lot of reviews on here - completely undid my memories of this place from a few years back. Dead, Iceland looking pizza followed by pasta substandard to that in meal-deals. Totally unappetising salad bar, no seasonings/salt pepper/condiments in sight. Something like an ‘ice cream factory’ style area is required here to come even half close to justifying this price. Don’t know who’s to blame for this but I doubt it’s the service staff - hope some management see this.

If I could rate less than one star I would. The food was absolutely dreadful, the pizzas all looked the same with hardly any toppings and no sauce. The pasta was dry and had hardly any sauce. At £21 a head I thought this was quite expensive for what you get and what my belly could manage to eat. So gets slightly marked down for that, however I did manage to slip 5 slices of pizza in my bag to have cold for tea later. £10-£15 a head would be a more reasonable price tag and see more folk eating!

Absolutely awful. The price to have a few greasy slices of pizza, salad that looks like it’s seen the depths of hell and sweaty pasta should not be this extortionate. As a student I cannot afford to spend £21 for food that lacks quality and leaves me starving afterwards. The staff are oblivious to anything happening around them, just constant chatter at the front desk and didn’t seem very accommodating when we first walked in. A customer had spilled a drink and the front desk workers didn’t even bother to clean this, meaning me and my party had to dodge the wet floor. This was cleaned around 10 minutes after when one of the waiters realised, however no wet floor sign was placed. Improvements to this restaurant are highly required. Do better.

Abysmal - we came a couple of years ago and found it really good value, good food quality and helpful staff. We visited on Friday and found the price per head had almost doubled but the standard of food has declined drastically. My daughter wouldn’t eat anything. The choice was poor and availability of pizza was scarce. The pizza toppings hardly covered the base. The pasta was barely room temperature and they may as well have served dry pasta…. The bolognaise sauce was….. barely visible.£84 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers who all came out hungry. Pack up next time! Alton Towers please address these issues. It’s not fair to charge so much and get so little.

It just isn't worth £21 (yes, you read that right). The food here used to be nicer, and I'd not feel so stung by that price if it was still as nice as it used to be. But like all food at Alton Towers, it's gone totally downhill. All you can eat only matters if the food is something you'd want to eat. The pizza was rank with stingy toppings, and brought out incredibly slowly. The pasta was mush with barely any sauce. The soft drinks were the minimum amount of syrup they could possibly use.

Bang average theme park grub, in the style of a Pizza Hut buffet... £17 per person age 12+ 4 pizza flavours - all fairly plain about as exciting as nemesis sub terra Unlimited drinks - all sugar free. Pasta - that's drier than a ride around the Congo River Rapids! Salad bar - about as fresh as salad can be after 3 days out of a bag. Dry, flavourless and no better place to select cross contaminated vegetables from plastic boxes. Best thing about this was the gluten free pizzas - the bases are actually better than some of the big high street pizza places and you get a good hot fresh portion. Worth getting a gf garlic bread.. Much better than the flavourless slices on the counter. We'll be back no doubt, there's virtually no other option in the park that is worth doing. Food seems like an afterthought throughout the park

As much pizza and pasta as you can eat venue. due to large numbers, the pizzas were continually being refreshed, however there is not a great variety of flavours, understandable reflecting on the customer numbers. The pasta was ok, nothing amazing and felt like it was there just to compliment the pizza, almost a tick box exercise. However, the supposed salad bar. It looked as though someone had swept the floor of salad and dropped it into the trays. The various salad types were all mixed and the accompanying dressings had been drizzled, poured everywhere. The area looked very oily, giving the appearance of not being cleaned properly. Overall the state of the salad bar was far from inviting and certainly looked dirty. Wouldn’t really call it a pizza/pasta buffet when there’s only 2 choices of pasta: Tomato and herb and a tremendously under seasoned creamy sauce. Some of the pizzas were lovely but unfortunately a few were undercooked and all I could taste was uncooked flour. The salad bar had a great variety and selection. Draft soda selection was limited with only Coke Zero, Fanta and Sprite. Shame they couldn’t shell out for some Coke, as you are paying £30 each for entry. Overall, improvements need to be made to the food/drinks for the cost of entry but by far one of the cheaper options of dining.

This is surprisingly good value considering it is in Alton Towers. You get a good choice of pizzas, a few pastas and salad. Each at much a you like. Also you get unlimited fizzy drinks, water and squash.

Honestly so dead for £30 id rather get a McDonald’s. nothing like it use to be 3 pasta options and lucky to find a piece of pizza with a topping it. Most of the drinks machines don’t work and just offer you a nice murky water to wash down the pepperoni on cardboard. And no one seems to care when mentioning something, No wonder payment is done upon entry would’ve shut down years ago.

Try to get in no later than 11.45 as that's when it starts to get busy. And don't eat too much, remember you need to go on rides after lunch. Food is good and works well for our family when visiting the park.

Plenty of pizza selections, only 2 pasta selections, worth a visit as kids were fully fueled afterwards.

I was worried there wouldn't be a great vegan selection but you can order a vegan pizza & they'll bring it to you

Our experience for 2 days ago was disgusting. The pasta was dry,no taste and didn’t even have any colour, and the worst thing is that it was ONLY pasta and no meat, sauce or anything. We wanted the vegetable pizza and we had to wait for about 15 minutes for them to do two full pizzas which everyone else already took slices of as they were also waiting so we had to wait another 10 minutes. The baby changing room the cleaning is probably every second day there as it lacks cleanliness and hygiene,we were so disgusted that baby had to be changed outside. Also, the two girls by the till were making faces like they were gulag workers being forced to work there with no freedom. In addition it looks like they ran out of fruit in the salad section.Unlike the pizza pasta in chessington overall our service was very poor.

Ordered food today which was supposed to be delivered only 100 meter away on our shop and despite two reminder they persistantly lied about the order of the status which was eventually attempted to be delivered even after I had cleared that if you can not deliver in next ten minutes please cancel my order and they called after fifteen minutes pretending they don't know where our shop is located which is right in the middle of the town centre some 100 meters away from them. I apologised to recieve because timw was up and I had to do my closing. Absolutely pathetic service don't know about the food.

I’ve ordered from Abbies for years and have supported their business which I will do no more. On Sunday in the early hours I ordered a jacket potato with butter and cheese but unfortunately I must have clicked on collection instead of delivery which of course I understand to be my fault and the order wasn’t delivered. However, the owner told me that when I phone again they would sort something out. So I phoned tonight and was met with a raised voice and told that it was my fault and that what was I expecting them to do. I was really shocked with his attitude and told him that he has lost a customer. I didn’t expect to be spoken to in that way after all these years of ordering food from their shops
