Pizza Park in Liverpool

Well it had been a long hot day. I was dry and hungry. To be honest i just didnt have the motivation to do something interesting with the bag of salad and the half pineapple that was waiting for me at home. The guy behind the bar-counter was cool and explained that his family had worked the place for more than a generation. He smiled as he spoke. He said he could make me a pizza just the way i wanted it. Just the way i wanted it. What i wanted right then was a cold can of Vimto and a 10" pepperoni with mushrooms and just a little extra cheese. And i wanted it "welldone", you know, crispy and juicy around the edges, firm base and lightly browned on top. And i wanted the tomatoe sauce to have a mature, almost sweet flavour, liked when its really cooked with care. Now, i'm not saying it was the best pizza ever, i've been to Italy a few times, and i know that we all know where that is. I hope its sufficient for me to say that my pizza was delicious and that maybe, just maybe, it was close to my top ten. So, friend, if you are still reading this, take my advice: dream your pizza, share it with them and i'm pretty sure they'll do whatever they can to bring it into reality. 😃 Its simply what they do.😃 @nds - Brigade Situationiste

2 pizzas, large fries and a cheeseburger is what i ordered last night for me and my 3 children. The pizzas were burnt, the fries were soggy and the burger had no cheese. The delivery driver also refused to deliver to my front door and just sat in his car until i went to him. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. And a waste of money which i cannot afford. Half went in the bin. Never going here again.... idiots.

Really quick and friendly service and nice pizza. I have only ever managed once to get fried chicken, they're always out, but it was good that once and I hope to try it again.

very disappointed in the food here today. I've used pizza park for over 10 years as they normally have the best hot n spicy pizza. today was not good. I think it's different cheese, didn't taste the same. the chips were so undercooked they went in the bin and the tahini sauce was like water and tasteless. the garlic bread was awful too probably because of the cheese, it tasted like cheddar. hoping its a one off. I also noticed you've put the delivery fee up to £5 sort it out guys!

Donner kebab looked like the meat had been sat there all day and I ordered a small but was tiny was like 5 pieces of shoe leather pizza was alright

I love this place. food is always lovely and hot when it arrives. the only gripe is I ordered a cherry coke and they sent Pepsi cherry max. it's no comparison to cherry coke please don't do this I can't stand it! I'd rather have coke. tahini is lovely and I wouldn't get pizza from anywhere else! been buying 10" traditional hot and spicy for years and years! £4 delivery is a bit steep though I think.

Unfortunately the worst kebab I've ever had. Doner meat is disgusting and dry, same with the chicken. Burgers tasted funny too, and a pitta bread you could break a tooth on. Food had to be thrown away. Not good at all.

Mixed kebab was inedible. doner was mostly hard and tasted awful, same with the chicken. The pitta was so hard you could break a tooth. Burger tasted strange. Garlic bread with cheese was ok, chips were ok. Very disappointed when food is thrown away.

Normally very good but tonight was an off night, donner kebab was so over cooked it was crunchy, very basic and pizza was below average, regret ordering.

Everytime its perfect, tonight for some reason chicken wings were different and basically inedible, completely different style wings to normal and nowhere near as good

Pizza was lovely but ordered large chips that were not even a small portion there was about 20 chips, not happy, I have recommended this place to ally of people won’t be again.

Very good takeaway pizza, cheap and cheerful, not homemade Italian. I prefer pizza park to Dominos. My favourite is Bomnay bad boy!

I gave this place a go due to all the fantastic reviews. The fries looked like they had been defrosted and thrown in a box, despite ordering 2x large fries; only half the box was full, the burger was chicken strips on a bun. The pizza was burnt and flavourless and the "large cheesy garlic bread" was a 10" bland, dry, waste of space. £25 down and I'd have had a more enjoyable meal had we eaten our tea towels. Never again.

Wow food was absolutely vile!!!! chips were cold and soggy they looked like an they were just cooked twice they looks a awful burnt colour but wasn't burnt. The lamb kebab had about 4 pieces of very dry meat what a waste I've literally thrown it in the bin it's that bad

Food would of been ok if the burgers were on fresh buns. Defo not fresh because they fell into bits as soon as you picked them up ,chips were greasy and salad consisted of a tiny bit of lettuce ,not great and wouldn't go again

Poor selection of ingredients on pizza, had to add extra toppings which made it expensive. Chicken kebab was a measly portion & was dry.

Chips were brown n basically burned, pizza looked burned as well. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and after one bite nearly threw up. This was hands down easily the worse pizza in Liverpool, Most rancid thing I’ve ever seen n tasted. Now have to waste money elsewhere thank you

Likes to phone taxis for nuisance customers just to get them out of the shop. The nuisance customers have no money to pay for the taxi. Nice one Pizza Park, appreciate that.

Normally get a lovely jacket spud with a lot of filling. What I got was a potato that had fallen apart with the hardly any filling, plus it was cold. Waiting a long time, must have been busy but has put me off ordering again as it’s the second time now. Burgers were ok. Gutted I didn’t order one for myself as was still hungry afterwards.

Absolutely disgusting. All of the chips and chicken melted into the polystyrene boxes, and all you could taste was a chemical taste. They don’t line any of the boxes with grease proof paper so by the time it arrives to you, it’s all melted into the boxes. Honestly, the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted, I wish I could include a photo of the state of the boxes too. Horrid

Everything was perfect except the food!!! I have ordered from here in the past and food was perfect but this time it all went in the bin!!! The tahini sauce tasted very sweet like it was loaded with sugar. Like I said all went straight in the bin. Not happy will not order from here ever again!!!!!

I have had nice pizzas from here in the past but the last few times I have ordered from pizza park the pizzas have been very dry like the tomato sauce was forgotten completely and the cheese burnt and salt. I think next time I would be better to just do myself cheese on toast

Restaurant had the piece of mind to call me to say they didn't have any chicken pieces and asked me if I wanted to order something else instead. I love their pizza's and especially their burgers. Chili burgers are delcious and so too are the chicken burgers. The chicken burger is delicious with salad. I truly recommend this restaurant, the staff are great, the driver is great...thank you for a delicious meal, will order again in the future, thank you!

I'm so disappointed at the quality of the food recieved today. I've been ordering from this place for years and never have experienced bad food from here til today. The garlic bread with cheese and onion was hard underneath and extremely dry. The hot and spicy pizza had hardly any onion, green pepper or cheese on it. The cheese that was on it was all in the middle. The chips were fine. Don't even get me started on the tahini sauce. Tastes nothing like tahini at all. It's so sweet it tastes like it should be on a dessert. Most of my order went in the bin. Waste of money, won't be bothering to order anymore. I also think £4 delivery fee is a bit steep considering I only live a 5 min drive from the place.

Order from here far too much. Fantastic food quality and reasonably priced. Burgers are best on just eat and the pizzas/kebabs are lush. The only thing I could say is please don’t make the spag bol or lasagne so spicy. 😊 Aside from that 👌🏽👍🏽

Large Donner kebab was a very small portion and pizza base soggy. Delivery came on time.

BASIC KEBAB - Choice of salad or chips (not both) and chips just covered up the lack of meat. I got the 'special' but the grilled chicken/lamb had a really smoky burnt flavour. Gutted. We ordered a pizza too which was really good. Go here for a pizza but avoid the kebabs.

Great food & really fast service, 30 mins than earliest expected due time. Food was piping hot when delivered. Only very minor fault was the tub of hot sauce didn’t have the lid on properly, so had leaked out all over the bag so a bit messy….. but these things happen so not a complaint. Will defo be ordering again

Food was missing, an entire meal. Called restaurant multiple times and just went to message saying no one available so had to share food instead. Food that we did receive had minimal toppings on and seemed rushed, pizza park is usually my favourite and I've never had an issue before but seems like they rushed this entire order and got it very wrong. I'd have to think again before reordering after this experience. Can't even get hold of them to ask for replacement food, awful experience.
