Pizza Max in Stockport

The food took a lot longer than you would expect for a takeaway that is only down the road, it would take me ten minutes to get there if I were to WALK SLOWLY ! I've ordered from takeaways a LOT further away that have got here in half the time. The worst thing with tonight's meal though, is that I ordered Strawberry Cheesecake for a family member to eat who wouldn't be having any of the other food. Not only was the cheesecake portion small ...it was FROZEN SOLID !! I have pictures of how it arrived, and how it is after it's been at my house for over an hour. ( sent with this review). My food took 45 minutes from ordering to arriving.... add another hour, and it's STILL FROZEN!!! When you order something like that, you expect to be able to eat it straight away... not tomorrow morning ! £2.54 for a small slice of a cheesecake that's frozen solid !!! I'm fuming !! It's not like I can stick it in the microwave to defrost, because it has cream on top ( that's frozen too !). This place was lucky I tried them again after the farce last time when they accepted the order, accepted the payment and then sent us a message to tell us they were CLOSED and would refund the money in 5 working days ! £18 and I had to wait 5 days to be bale to get my money back for a service they didn't provide, meaning I had no spare money to buy elsehwere.... evening RUINED. II'M NEVER AGAIN GOING TO USE THIS TAKEAWAY, AND I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE ELSE TO STEER CLEAR TOO!

This place has the most amazing burgers & chips & garlic bread. It is always fresh and hot delivered. The burgers are very tasty as are the garlic breads. I eat here quite often and it is always very satisfying. Highly recommended.

I went to the shop this time. As always a pleasant and friendly welcome. I ordered my food from the open kitchen and did not have to long to wait. We had a meat feast pizza which could have done with more meat which was still very tasty. We also had a seafood pizza with tuna and prawns. Decent garlic bread and average chips.

This is our local pizza takeaway of choice. When we phone to order, the staff are very pleasant, have a waiting time reflected in the time it actually says. We had a mixed meat pizza with various meats, a seafood pizza with tuna and prawns, could have done with a few more prawns still delicious.Served promptly to our door. Hot and delicious.

The best Pizza place in our area. Do a wide range of Pizza's with loads of different toppings. Had a meat feast pizza with loads of toppings, and a lovely chicken and mushroom Pizza, great free cheesy garlic bread, coleslaw a bit sloppy, chips decent enough, £15.50 for their special deal. Always great service at this place. Also reasonable waiting times, which they always stick to, or are sometimes early. Great place cannot recommend it enough.
