**Update 25.02.22** Ownership has reverted back to the same people who had it previously so food back to being not so good unfortunately. **Update** Since my original review (below) there seems to have been a change in ownership/management & the food & service has vastly improved. Salt & Pepper Chicken pieces were great & so was the Chicken with Green Pepper & Black Bean sauce. Let's hope it continues. "This place used to be great offering freshly prepared tasty food. Nowadays it's a different story. They seem to favour using less meat, prawns etc & throw a lot of veg in. Cheap ingredients but inflated prices. Hot & sour soup had 3 shrimps in & not a single piece of anything resembling meat. Far too many bamboo shoots. It tasted like vinegar. Probably didn't help that the delivery driver & the person behind the counter were having a blazing row in full view of the waiting customers at the time of ordering. Canton in Bredbury far superior. Worth the extra journey time. Agree with other comments regarding the fish & chips too. Awful. Will be avoiding in future."

Really looking forward to our takeout after a busy week. My husband was “0k” with his sweet and sour prawns which he enjoyed although the prawn rice being wet. I ordered crispy duck which was so dry I could barely eat it. I also ordered prawn toast and this again was extremely dry. So sorry, we wanted to try somewhere different, but will definitely be giving this takeaway a miss in the future.

Delicious meal, delivered quickly and even tailored my order from a request I popped on the online order form! Thoroughly enjoyed it thank you!!

Called in for chips peas and gravy. Told five mins. Left and called back still no sign. While waiting all I could hear was microwave pings. Asked for my money back politely and left. Sadley won't be returning.

I ordered, through Stockport Eats, two mains and two appetisers. Collection was confirmed for just over an hour later. When I arrived I had to wait another 30 mins before I got my food. Some of which was substituted because they ran out. Other food was disappointing. Sadly let down too many times by this place. Shame.

Tasteless small portions and not much meats in hung chow. Sweet shedded chilli chicken very pale and poor taste.

Going here for years. Changed chef and disappointed.

Went in and asked for a scollop (potato) muffin and then chips and curry. Took 2 different staff members and about 5 minutes of back and forth to explain my order. Came out with chips and curry on a muffin with 2 FISH SCALLOPS on top. £4 for about 6 chips that were undercooked. Absolutely useless chippy, avoid at all costs.

Don’t bother ordering from this place. Nothing ever turns up when it should and what does come is wrong.

Rude staff that lacks customer service! If you are wondering why all your deliveries are late it’s because the woman waits until it’s nearly been an hour to make the order as she waits to see if any delivery orders are close together (distance wise) Not impressed!

Disappointing. Order took over an hour and a half to arrive, so some of the food was cold. Almost all the vegetables in the sauce were onions, including two big chunks of root. I think we'll stick to our usual takeaway from now on

The food here is below average. It’s not awful but it’s not good either. The wait times are long and I’d add 15-30 minutes onto any estimates you get.

I ordered via just eat tonight at 8.30pm it’s now 23:31 and it’s still not here but they marked it as delivered at 21.45. Me n my kids have waited for 3 hours and now you’re closed but you’ve still managed to take the £32 out my bank. Absolutely fuming. I will be getting a refund !!!!

The food is actually very good. But the waiting times for delivery are ridiculous. They take the phone of the hook when busy so you cannot get through even to chase your order. Ordered tonight (4 December) and 3 hours later we are still waiting for our food and still cannot get through to them to chase 186 attempted calls

Just had our delivery, it was.ok, except the salt and pepper chips were disgusting, they were at least 2 days old, won't be ordering anytime soon

Chips tasted like they were last weeks chucked back in the fryer. The whole lot went in the bin.

Given 75 minutes delivery time now at 120 minutes still no food

We are regulars but the service recently has been very disappointing. It appears they are too busy to get the basics right. Last night, 12/12/20 I ordered beef and green pepper in BBS, but received the vegetarian option, the previous time there was a meal missing that we had to go back for. I recommend Dynasty, which we will be using from now on.

Bought a Singapore vermicelli and some vegetarian spring rolls on my first visit to this take away. It was so-so. Better options for Chinese food in Romiley

They do superb salt and pepper shredded chicken!!

Update: ordered from here several times the last few months and every time the food has been great and it's always arrived hot I'm a fussy eater and I can reccomend this restaurant! Always big portions, I've had loads of different starters and mains and they've always been really good. Arrive hot, loads of meat in dishes too. Tried this place for the first time last night was a bit reluctant because of the bad reviews but it was very good. I got some starters and the Singapore vermicelli and curry sauce which was very tasty, not very spicy (which I was very happy about) and everything was hot. Easy way to order from their website too. Would order from here again!

We have eaten our order from Cheung wing and all 5 meals were soooooo nice. Even though they are busy the food is still amazing. Also the staff are bril. Thank you Chrung Wing.

Incorrect cold order received and the fish and chips swimming in grease. Tried to resolve with the shop, however the person answering the phone was very rude. Ordered through Just Eat so went for a redefine through them however the shop hasn’t marked the order complete after myself and Just Eat requested this. Will never order from this shop again! Poor food and poor service!!

Sorry to say its not what it used to be. Used to go here a lot but last two times disappointed. Will think hard about going again.

Well expensive, food tasted proper cheap. I ordered salt and pepper chips & chicken, however, there was more onions with the meal than there was what I ordered. Waited over half a hour for the food upon collection too.

Ordered food over 2 hours ago was told it's on the next delivery 45 mins later it's still not here it would've been quicker to walk there and pick up won't be ordering from here again

Ordered a duck! Came black inedible cold food,Just to make matters worse! Called them an told me to take my duck back to the shop! wow !!! Feel like I've been robbed, very poor attitude and customer care

Only giving one star as it will not allow me to give 0 stars! The rudest woman and worst service I have experienced. We ordered a delivery for just eat, they marked it as delivered. I rang up to explain we hadn't got the order yet, and the woman was adamant we had! Then said it's on the way as were busy. Over an hour late cold food arrived and the wrong order. I rang up and she said if I want my money I need to come and get it. When I arrived they refused to refund me. Still struggling to get a refund. Only go there if you want cold food that is wrong extremely late and to be called a liar. Brilliant business model!

Disgusting,ordered off just eat,the chips were cold and tasted horrible,prawn rolls were horrible, i think it was dirty oil,bbq ribs were under cooked and didnt taste like bbq,rang to complain and the owner put the phone down on me,DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

Absolutely disgusting worst Chinese I've ever had!!!! We live 5 mins away in a car and the food came freezing and solid, the food had a very funny taste to the point one of our friends had to spit his food out, none of the food was eaten an was refused a refund!!!

This place thinks it's acceptable to charge you for disgusting food. Rang the shop and was told that it is 'light batter'on the fish and just to try and eat it! Filth, I'll never order food from here again.

73 minutes for burger and chips after 4 phone calls food turns up rude driver and the food was cold i've had to sack them and Bredbury Fish bar I gave them a trial and they failed woman on the phone said 45 minutes for food but it was 73 minutes what a joke

Well I could only get on here so had to put 1 star Chips nearly cooked no colour white Fried rice hadn't been fried- gluppy Egg foo -scrambled egg King prawn fished out was just edible Prawn crackers prob from last night Will I be going there again NEVER !!!

Can take a while for delivery. But it's pretty popular. I recommend the yum yum fried chicken balls. Good Chinese.

Food ordered on saturday night was delivered by a guy still in his builders work clothes.Food was dreadful.The sauce on main dish was so thick it actually made me sick.Hubbys food was tasteless.Chicken pieces was soggy.Rang up to complain got told maybe it was because they was busy that the food was not satisfactory.Have ordered from here before will not be ordering again

Spent £28 all the food was greasy the egg foo Young was poor quality, the rice was more boiled than fried...and waiting 50 minutes for food like that is a huge disappointment. The curry sauce was like water not thick at all with any taste same as the whole meal. Wouldn't recommend having food from here ever. All of it was put in the bin so thanks! Waste of money 100%

Ordered food over 2 hours ago. still not here. I have rang the takeaway 20+ times and no answer!!! Will not be using again!!!! Only went there as New Empire is closed on a Monday.

Ordered a take away with delivery for 8 people. The food was fantastic; big portions, reasonable prices and lovely taste. Will definitely order from here again. It was spot on time (delivery) and the food was likewise bang on. Our friends who came over were very impressed. Couldn't finish it all (huge) but had a great resurrection lunch the next day!
