Chips from here at 6pm when got home they were a bag of solid small re-heats disgusting will never buy from again.

Popped in here for a deep fried pizza supper on the way home from family celebrations. Pizza was rock hard, dried out and clearly had been refried. Chips a bit on the greasy side. Food hot, staff friendly. Nearly broke my tooth eating the pizza- not fresh. A shame as there a lot of good chippies in the area. Won’t be returning any time soon,

Just been to chippy for fish supper and macaroni with garlic bread. Fish was fine but the macaroni was disgraceful. It was from a packet. So dry and tasteless that I binned it. Also a word of warning. You have to spend £15 to pay with a card. We won’t be back.

Delivery was put back twice. Eventually ordered elsewhere. Restaurant was made aware and over 2 weeks later not even part refund given. Wouldn't use again.

Received order late as went to wrong address then arrived cold no apology pizzas were stuck to lids called for replacements very rude and never received... Awful service a minus 10 here!!!

This chip shop is clean neat and tidy and staff are always pleasant. Now if you want fish n chips be prepared to wait, but it’s well worth it. Normally there is a wait with special fish but this feels like more of a wait. Anyway the chips are excellent and the fish is so fresh. The white fish is so fresh and soft and breadcrumbs also crispy and tasty.

Pretty peeved as I ordered the food at 18:15 and I did know that the delivery could be 30 - 50 mins that was fine and when I asked as soon as possible delivery I thought it would either be on time or earlier. Pretty annoyed to be sitting and sitting waiting for the food to arrive for it to arrive at 20:30 an hour after my delivery time and 2 hours and 15 mins after I ordered it.

Ordered quite a large order at 6.30pm still waiting at 8.20pm order was including meals for children!! One delivery driver when I called to see where my order was. This should be stated and all customers informed at all times. I will NOT order again!! Couldn't rate food quality as we still have not got our order

Ordered fish supper 18.15 Told delivery 18.45. Changed to 19.15. Delivery arrived 19.30 I believe . It was stone cold. It is usually hot as I live quite near. Driver does not know area. Phoned Pizza Mario and was told they would send another. I doubt it as it is now 20.00 . Delivery is usually really good but food has not always been great. Quite awful in fact a couple of times. Food has improved. Delivery let it down this time. £10.90 for one person. Not happy. I’ll be calling Pizza Mario again tonight. I would not have posted if they had followed through.

Food was late, when it finally did arrive 1 hour after stayed, we didn’t have all the drinks we had ordered and our food was freezing, we left most of it

Food quality here has gone down year after year. fish and chips used to be top notch, what I was delivered was soggy battered fish and greasy chips. Not what we had when they first opened. Also prices have gone up v quality of food. have to say this is the last time I will order from here.

Called when food was 20 mins late, told driver had the order and would be another 5-10minutes. Food arrived nearly half an hour after phone call. Food was cold and soggy, most of which ended up in the bin. Tried to call shop back but unable to get through. Eventually gave up. Total waste,

We have tried this place on many occasions when we just fancied Fish and Chips. I’m not a Pizza lover! As we spend a lot of time abroad where the classic British dish is not on offer we look forward to a lovely ‘Fish Supper’. Alas this is not the case. Maybe we’re unlucky or we go too early in the evening but every time we have been disappointed. The fish was good and crispy but the chips were wilting and dry and looked like they had been re- cooked several times. We keep giving it another try but this time was one too many. We won’t be back. Such a shame as a good ‘Chippy’ is so desirable in a village like Bridge of Weir.

Bought a sausage supper here tonight. Very disappointed the sausage was dripping with grease and the batter was tough and chewy. Very small tray of chips which also were dripping in grease and were scraps of potatoes rather than chips. Definitely won't go here again. Sandros for me from now on.

Food was good, missed a juice from my order didn’t really care too much although he did contact the driver.

1 hour 50 minutes between placing my order and the food arriving. Over 50 minutes of that time the order was "on its way", I live 3 miles from the take away. Not sure if they were catching the fish first. Due to arrive at 8.50pm. Phoned at 9pm, told it was on its way. Phoned again at 9.30pm, told it was 2 or 3 minutes away. 10 minutes later get a call from the delivery driver saying he's "lost" direct him to my address. Said he'd be 2 minutes. Finally arrived 10 minutes after that. "Forgot" the juice, he had to back to the car. Food was cold, said to delivery driver, he phoned the take away, had an argument and hung up and told me to phone the restaurant because "he's not arguing with him." Food was freezing, heated it up anyway and after all that the food wasn't even that good anyway. Not bothered phoning, will just get attitude and they're not going to care, just won't bother ordering from there again. Steer clear.

Ordered food from here last night and the cheese was mouldy & was stinking! Shop keeps there cheese in a white carrier bag in the fridge. They didn’t really care about my complaint, when in the shop they didn’t even check the rest of the cheese. I wouldn’t recommend here what so ever!

Just eat website said 45 minutes. Delivered after 1 hour 50 minutes. Phoned after 1 hour 30 and was old it was in the oven and very busy. No discount or compensation offered. Pizzas are nice though and consistent.

Only down side the additional topping on the pizza was missing. Otherwise the pizza was as good as usual

Ordered at 5.55pm and didn’t arrive till 8.20pm. Called restaurant twice, once at 7.45pm in which I was told my order was on its way and again half an hour later. Once food arrived it was burnt and there was no can of juice with the cheeseburger meal. Very disappointed

Ordered 2 pizzas. A 14” spicy chicken & 10” spicy beef. Spicy chicken pizza was ok but cold. Spicy beef pizza was burnt and also cold. Pizza bases were like cardboard. Order was an hour late. Food arrived cold. £20 wasted. Won’t be using again.

No problems. Efficient service and the delivery man was very pleasant.

We won’t be ordering from here again, we paid nearly £6 for drinks with our food order and when the food was delivered, the drinks were not with the order. The delivery driver said he would be back to bring the drinks to us shortly, but we never got them and no other communication from the shop to fix this mistake.

Shocking! Called restaurant twice over long wait was openly lied to first time. Second call was told driver answered phone and lied and would be sacked! Driver was not fazed in least when he eventually showed up.

There was so much greasy coming off the fish without me even touching it, the batter was horrendous. I actually had to pick out the fish as I couldn’t even eat the batter

The pizza crunch was nice, batter was a little hard but nothing bad. However the chips were cold by the time i got them even though the pizza crunch was warm, the chips were also under cooked

We use this takeaway a lot and the food is almost always fantastic. However I'm not sure if there was a lack of delivery drivers but from ordering our food it took nearly 2.5 hrs to arrive. I called 3 times firstly to be told it would be another 20 mins. Then again to be told the order had left the takeaway so should be 5 mins - 20 mins later I called again as it still had not arrived. When it did arrive (whilst not cold) our pizza was lukewarm and the chicken strips we ordered were tiny compared to every other time we have ordered. I know it was a Saturday but come on guys, 2 hrs to have almost cold food hurt!!

On this occasion, they were busy and were 40 mins late and the food was cold. Its usually fast and hot

1 hour over the original hour given for delivery, for one supper & 1 bag of chips is outrageous! tried to phone the shop a million times and didn’t even get an answer.. sent a smaller bottle of juice than ordered (always happens) don’t give me 3 different options if youve only got 1? poor delivery guy copped a rant but I will never ever order from here again, always an issue with something!

Chips delivered were barely cooked and my 2L coke was a 1.25L coke. Total rip off

food is beautifully cooked and is provided in generous portions, The only caveat would be the spaghettii carbonara which is devoid of meat.

Second time ordering from this restaurant. First time wasn’t keen on the food but as there is not much choice in BOW I decided to try it again. Delivery was good. Boy was polite and asked for money towards pickles that we had ordered on just eat. I paid by card on just eat. But as picked were not a choice I paid that at the door. Didn’t have the juice we ordered so got diet instead. Which I wouldn’t normally order. Anyways opened the bag. No pickles. So my partner called and said that there was no pickles in the bag and that he had paid for them at the door. These things happen wasn’t a big deal. However the way situation was dealt with was completely unprofessional and was taking very personal. The response on the phone was the man laughing and telling him to just come to the shop and pick up the pickles and he didn’t care that we had paid for them. Due to this phone call and how it was dealt with I would not order here again for poor quality food and service. Would not recommend to family and friends.

My children wanted the spaghetti bolognese and they took one look at it and wouldn’t eat it and I don’t blame them, a lot of the spaghetti looked burnt, some spaghetti was very burnt it didn’t look very appetising at all and it actually went in the bin. Pizza was ok alittle over cooked to be honest! We are normally very happy with the food from here but tonight was really disappointing!

No chips delivered with order as requested

got a phone call to say they didn’t have exactly what we wanted so they would give us a smaller portion plus an extra bag of chips as I had already paid for it, when our order arrived 40 minutes late, their was no extra chips and there was ketchup on the burger which we had not requested. very disappointed this time, especially as I have never had a problem before

Food was delicious. Haggis was a bit mushy in texture so didn't enjoy that. The rest was spot on.

The organisation of the chippy is quite honestly a riot. Doesn't matter if you pop by, order in advance online, you end up waiting a stupid amount of time for what is 'fast food'. Most of the time something in your order is wrong. Don't understand why they don't have some stuff ready during the peak times to try to increase turn around and get of their queues faster. If you want to wait 40 minutes for an average takeaway, go for it.

Food quality was ok. It was all hot despite being 20 minutes late but it did taste like it was maybe sitting out for a while.

ordered collection food order was not ready a t allocated time but took a further 20 mins on returning home discovered order was not completed phoned shop and was told rudely just come back in then we declined as the food we purchased was already getting cold was told they would deliver missing food ...,it never appeared so obviously wont be using again

Tried pizza mario for the first time a couple of months ago, ever since it’s been the only takeaway we ordered from! Absolutely amazing, the best service and chip shop chips! We’ll definitely be ordering again!

During my recent visit staying with Family nearby on Good Friday we had a Fish Supper for two people and I had a Prawn & Tuna Pizza which was excellent. We had a bit of a wait but it was very busy and everything was cooked fresh. A very enjoyable take away meal.

It took 2 hours for a delivery 3 miles away. Was later than time given and only was sent because I called and complained. Disappointing and poor. Food was ok but not worth that wait.

Pizza usually great but was burnt as was the onion rings. Wouldnt send food like that out. Most got binned.

The food was late and by the time it got here it was cold. I had to put most of it in the bin. Waste of money, considering I paid a delivery fee, I would expect it to be edible on delivery. I have used the service before which was fine

Excellent food as always. The delivery was late due to some problem however we were called and informed of the issue. We were told a new order was being cooked for us and it would be with us in around 25 mins which it was. I wouldn't take any stars away from this review as it is the first ever time I've received a call from a take away to apologise and explain what was happening. This is excellent customer service 👍🏻

Ordered from here a few months back almost 40 pounds on food.... Carbonara was all greasy my partner couldn't eat it ...... Lasagne was just pasta and bare minimum mince not exactly Italian food ? And also a king rib ordered and couldn't be eaten with taste of grease ...... Never again 😷😷😷

pizza was cold and all squashed up to one side of the box, no chips or juice delivered either!!! Tricky way to make extra cash by NOT DELIVERING HALF YOUR MEAL, it aint rocket science!!!

Would give the place 2.5 stars out of 5 overall as the food is good but service is very poor. Two orders in a couple of weeks messed up. First time they forgot the chips, when I phoned they did have them delivered but a pain as took an hour and finished the rest of the food by the time they got here. Thought we'd give it another go (since the food was nice and local). This time told it would be ready in an hour for collection (which for a Thursday is a long time). After getting there on time and waiting an extra 10 minutes I find out they've only made the one pizza when the order was for 2, rest of the food for 6 of us put in the oven while I waited 20 minutes for the missing one to be made. Think it's a language barrier that's the problem (as took the girl behind the till 5 attempts to get the guy cooking to understand his mistake). Even then, stuffed crust was in the wrong pizza and 1.5 litre bottle of coke instead of a 2 litres as stated. Try original chillies instead, been very nice whenever I've ordered from there

Food was rotten, cold and the pizza was all squashed at one side of the box! Didn't ask for vinegar as I cant stand the stuff BUT both bags of chips were saturated with it. Garlic bread was burnt & solid. Most if the meal was thrown away. Even the dog turned his nose up at it!!!
