The best there is in bishopton. It's always busy so that tells you it's good. Staff are friendly and the food is good that's all that matters.

An hour and three quarters to receive coold food that had to go in the oven. Paid £27 for poor service. This place used to be good, looking at the other reviews, not sure what's happened?

Great takeaway in Bishopton probably the best out of them all in the village. Great curry and kebabs it really is second to none. Price wise not too expensive. Food always warm and cooked well. Would highly recommend. Having ordered from this place this evening 18/11/23 my review must change I once thought that the service and manners of this place was second to none but tonight changed my mind having waited for over a hour and a half for my food it turns up well not really warm but look warm I called the shop to find out the status of my order and was passed to 3 people within the shop and a phone call of 14.5 mins to eventually told to order elsewhere and they would do nothing to help solve the situation. The rudeness of the staff of which one was claiming to be the manager is nothing short of disgraceful and disgusting and unwilling to short the situation out. I will never in my life use this place again it isn't the place it used to be and honestly for the price it's hardly worth the manner you are spoken to. The customer isn't always correct but to try and resolve an issue instead of saying we are too busy is a start and not rude.

Shocking customer service....Don't go near. Have no regard for customers.

Ordered a pizza,two BBQ chicken kebabs and an extra portion of cabbage salad. The food was delivered on time, on opening the parcel I noticed the extra kebab salad was not included. I called chapati 9 to explain and told them I didn't not expect the driver to come out to deliver just salad and I would get it next time from them. All ok, until Chapati 9 called back to inform me that the salad portion is very small and he just lumped two portions in the one container. By this time we had started to eat the food, pizza was ok, chicken from the kebab was very dry so much so it was sticking to the roof of my mouth, the owner attempted to persuade me this was normal and that if I was not "happy I was to try somewhere else", shocking response, I will definitely take his advice and will not return.

How hard is it to read a piece of paper that clearly says 'NO SALAD' ?? Been going here for years but recently these stupid mistakes are happening more and more frequently and again the last night.... king chicken kebab covered in salad! that was the final straw and we will now drive an extra 5 mins to Renfrew for our Indian food.

This was their last Chance ,poppadoms not crispy,spiced onions a chemical taste Garlic Naan no taste of Garlic ,Dhansac was tasteless gloop I think it was Lentil soup thickened with cornflour no spice of any kind ,shocking,a New Indian opened up across the Road might shake them up it is too late for me £17 that cost Never Again

45 mins to collect 2 x meals ,to return home ...find a zalfrezi is nothin more than a chasni.....1 hour 20 mins later another 1 is delivered ..same red sauce and chicken..defo no zalfrezi....😡😡..never again...no new rice ..no apology..dinner cold now...waste of time...got refund on zalfrezi...big deal.....

Got our delivery this evening and it was all freezing. Bit of a shame as they usually are really good. I don't have a microwave so ended up just throwing most of it out, except the cold pakora my son ate that.

Ordered from here for a very long time. Has always been the best takeaway in Bishopton. We order once per week, every week (very occasionally twice per week). The last couple of times, I haven’t been happy. 1st occasion was service - placed order for collection, went to pay card in the shop, would accept cash only (fair enough), I offered to place the order on the website there and then so that money paid (weather was terrible and had my son in car), owner said no and basically had to go get cash. At the time I wish I just said cancel the order, purely out of principle. 2nd occasion - quality/quantity. Tonight’s was the 3rd poor experience - collected a semi-burnt pizza (not acceptable). Also collected a curry, less chicken pieces AND much smaller pieces. I’ve basically just sat and ate sauce and rice, really tasty sauce let me point out, but it was a bonus to get a bit of chicken. I appreciate the times we are living in, we are all feeling it, but I’d honestly rather I was charged more for the same quality of food. Also, sorry to be so blunt about this, I’m actually offended that you had the cheek to box up that pizza the way it was (with minimal chicken but again understand why). I have now decided I won’t be spending anymore money in Chapati 9, I’m so sorry! Not sure if £30 average per week loss will affect you in any way, I hope not, but I’m not prepared to work hard and spend money on things that not worth it, whether it costs £10 or £100. Good luck.

After being a loyal customer for many years I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received tonight. The ice cream I ordered had obviously been defrosted and refrozen and when I phoned to advise them of this I was told I'd get a refund. Ten or fifteen minutes later the delivery driver came to my door for the ice cream, which I'd already binned. When I phoned and spoke to the manager he said he wouldn't give a refund without proof, implying I was lying! I didn't even asked for a refund, I only phoned to let them know there was an issue! All they had to do was thank me for letting them know! I'm disgusted by the way I was treated, absolutely terrible customer service and I won't be back.

Ordered chicken pakora and chips. Tasty but not quite as tasty as it used to be and not quite the same amount either.

This place is going the same way as other takeaways in bishopton " less for more money " their standards have dropped"as a once loyal customer i won't be back again

Got a delivery from here half the order was missing and other half burnt to be fair they did replace the burnt food but still missing some items totally disgusting won’t be back what they did replace went in the bin and customer service let’s just say very rude

❌ AVOID ❌ ❌ DANGEROUS❌ After receiving our order this evening, we found the chicken dish to be undercooked/pink/raw in the middle. We contacted the restaurant to only be given a barrage of abuse from the Manager. We informed him we had taken photos and would be reporting this to the authorities. Anyone knows how dangerous it is to eat undercooked chicken. I have reported this via email to the Food Standards Agency and sent the photos. I hope they investigate and deal with this place accordingly.

We had a bit problem with our order, but the manager sorted it in a professional manner, no questions asked. No problem with the flavour or quality of the meal. Just something missing from order.

Great place for a takeaway. Always make sure I get a meal here whenever I visit Bishopton. Friendly and polite staff, great food and you don't have to wait long.

Food was pretty damn tasty, so no complaints here. Only issue was their inability to take card payments over the counter - cash only place I'm afraid. In this COVID era, all businesses ought to be allowing contactless payments. Please sort this out!

Extremely friendly staff, warm and accomodating. Customised my order without a hitch - which was super convenient as I needed to feed a 1 year old and a 4 year old. The food was yummy and service really outstanding!

Not a good meal, everything was freezing cold, sauce pots had leaked all over food, actual food itself did not taste good will not use again waste of money!

They do a lovely paneer chasni and their curries are gluten free (however cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination due to the kitchen prep area)

Currys are ok, sauces are very oily and used to be much better. Sundries and sides are very good. The Puri is very nice.

The best quite simply the best Indian/kebab place in Bishopton. Can get really busy on a weekend but well worth the wait.

Food is always nice and good value. Customer service is fantastic and even though it's always quite busy they take time to listen and make customers feel valued. Only been back in area for a short time but used this takeaway for first time in years after receiving poor customer service at another establishment and we were so pleased we have returned 3 times since, also recommended it to family and friends who are new to area. Keep up the good work guys.

Haven't been in for about 5 years as I moved away, was nearby tonight so got a pizza and mixed kebab and it was as good as ever. No complaints at all.

Possibly the worst meal we have ever had...The chips were hard and cold... the pizza was all dough no flavour... the chicken pakora were dry... the donner meat was tasteless and i ordered with salad and no sauce but received sauce and no salad. On a positive note... it arrived a half hour sooner than estimated! I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He did offer to send out another meal but i told him there was no point as we had lost our appetites. I asked for a refund or a credit note but he refused saying my only option was to throw the meal away and he would send out another. So we will not be dining with Chapati 9 in Bishopton in the future. Very disappointed as had been regular customers in the past.

The cheese burger was disgusting

Hadn't been in for maybe 4 years was disappointed ,spiced onions were sweet the poppadoms were lying out in the air and unsurprisingly they were slightly soggy the sauce was unspectacular and although chicken was plentiful it was clearly pre cooked chicken not raw and cooked in a pan with the sauce as it should be

Poor quality burgers, utensils could do with a clean and staff (manager) could do with an attitude change or he could just learn his own menu that would help.

The food here is great for its type. It comes hot and fresh so don’t worry about the freshness aspect. Range of food on the menu is very good and there is bound to be something for everyone.

My order arrived late, frozen cold and also some of the order was wrong. Phoned them to have it sorted which took over 20 minutes to finally get through to someone who was very cheeky and then hung up on me which I find appalling considering this was their error sending the incorrect food. Definitely won’t be back and would strongly advise everyone to avoid ordering from here.

Ok pizza was a bit undercooked it was about 30mins before they shut.

Ordered 1 chips cheese and spicy chicken and 1 chips cheese and donner. Recieved the chips cheese and spicy chicken and some donner, phoned back to tell them part of my order was missing and was told that’s not what I ordered and refused to accept his mistake, to top that off the donner was cold. Will not be ordering from here again.

For a family party, we again used Jaz and the team to provide food. Curries and pakoras very tasty. He does this very well.

Took 1hr to delivery which they said it would. Food arrived cold and missing portion of chips. Pakora sauce was watery and bland, very disappointed as when I pick up meal it's always nice. Poor delivery service

Got a set meal for 2 and wasn't disappointed, chicken pakora was excellent as was the chasni and butter chicken. Naan bread wasn't the best but that was the only minor complaint we had. The amount of food you get for the price you pay is excellent value for money.

Wow. Worst indian takeaway i have ever had. Its cheap but was like a supermarket morrisons microwave curry. Probably would have rathered a micro curry tbh.

Have been using this takeaway for about 15 years. Phoned an order in tonight for a takeaway which my husband was collecting. On his return home he had been given the wrong order . I phoned back and the owner was extremely rude to me on the phone insisting he hadn't 'given ' my husband the wrong order but my husband had ' taken' the wrong order stating he should have read the order slip- that would be the slip that the owner ripped off the carrier bag as he handed it over to my husband. Totally disgusted at how I was spoken to, I was nothing but polite and was phoning to offer to return and collect my original order! I will never eat from this establishment again as long as it is under its current management. Clearly loyalty counts for nothing .

Have had a takeaway from here about 15 times in the last year and always loved it - hot, delicious and friendly service. Can be a bit slow on weekends, due to its popularity!

Tried for the first time last night, tastiest curry yet better than where I usually go.

Fantastic establishment, regular customer. Food is very reasonably priced and we have never had a complaint - always exceeds our expectations.

Moved to Bishopton last week & sampled some of the local eateries at the weekend.We had pakora, chips & pizza from Chapati 9. The veg pakora was excellent. Portions were great & price was excellent. The pizza's are a bit doughy but topping were generous & tasty.Will be back again.NB - it's not chippy chips; its fries.

This Indian take-away is one of the best to be found for several miles. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the food is of great quality. Highly recommended.

Stopped off on a whim for a king size lamb shish kebab. Placed my order and dutifully sat down (as directed!). Some 20 mins later I was called to the counter as my feast was ready. What I saw in the pizza box was a good dose of salad atop a naan bread, about half a dozen small pieces of lamb and the guy serving was about to load it up with donner meat! I stated that I'd ordered a king size lamb shish, to which the reply was "this is the way we've served it for 10 years and never had any complaints"! There was no mention on the menu that a "KING size shish" is served (sorry, supplemented with) donner and as such it was rejected much to the guy that was servings disgust. Having ordered said kebab from other establishments locally and further afield I feel that they are taking the proverbial with their menu descriptions. Should you choose to get a carry out from here, confirm that what you have ordered is what you will get - otherwise prepare to be disappointed.Was hopeful after hearing good things from neighbours but will never return.

Do not spend your money here! The owner is a cheeky git. Phoned to order pizza with desired toppings and he bursts out laughing - Pizza was 12" Spicy Chicken with half Donner Meat.I asked what was so funny his reply 'its only a small pizza and you're asking for that'Needles to say i wont be back and i'll be spreading the word!!!Food is average at best!!

My favourite dish from this lovely establishment is its famous spicy chicken pizza. There is always service with a smile along with speedy service. What's not to love.

Arrived in a respectable time, it was a bit under cooked for my liking pakora was soggy and nan was doughy, we had stuff here before and been better.

I have ordered food from here on numerous occassions the food hits the spot everytime.i phone ahead and upon arrival my food is ready on the odd occassion i have had to wait for a few minutes excellent service and very friendly staff.
