Thoroughly enjoyed my fish tea and thank you to friendly staff 😊

Ordered a plain burger at 6.50pm. Delivered at 8pm not plain. Called and were told another was coming asap. Assured it would be quick. Called back at 8.30pm to hear it being shouted in the background they were making it now. Still a starving 12 year old. Given so much attitude from staff and hung up on. Called again and told it was just leaving. Received at 9pm and delivery driver advised they were not told it was priority at all. 2 hours 10 mins my daughter waited for dinner. Won’t use again.

Both the fish and chips arrived cold , they were also not fresh and were reheats, which was very disappointing as it wasn’t cheap. Pizza however was good.

Asked for no beans and got beans

Fantastic Fish beautifully cooked,chips were disgusting re-heats had to be thrown out.

Good for fish and chips and pasta pizza thy sell mostly everything staff very friendly and prices are reasonable would use again

This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered Angel cut haddock & just been sent basic fish/whiting. I understand mistakes happen maybe once or twice but 3times in a row? I even put in the order notes this time to please make sure you send the right fish. If you don’t have the fish in why don’t you call or take it off the menu. So frustrating as it’s a great chippy & the angel cut haddock is lovely, but it’s happening too often now I think unfortunately I’ll just need to go elsewhere which is a shame.

Ordered at 8pm (arrival time estimated 20:40-21:00) contacted restaurant at 9pm to be told I would be called back didn’t receive any call back and order never arrived. Restaurant now closed.

This place is a joke - a digusting one. We were literally the only two guests but kitchen staff all seemed super busy and stressed with god knows what. Surely it wasn't cleaning - the tables were greasy and had dark crumbles on them, floor as well. Even though we were only two people, they were three people staff and took their time, all food was burned. The cheese from my omelette literally hung from the side of the plate. The coffee ordered was instant coffee. When we moved around the counter to pay, I took a glimpse at the flaky frying fat. God how I wish I hadn't. On her way the front, the waitress moved meat patties around with her bare, unwashed hand after "cleaning" something in the back. In the end, it took them several minutes to calculate our two meals and two coffees, someone had to actually run and fetch a calculator - for 14£. Solid entertainment, waiting for the food poisoning to set in.

Got a carryout had to call to see where it was when arrived cold chips and the batter on fish was thicker than the fish so thin you could hardly see it .Stay clear of this place changed hands and definitely stay awaym

First & last time in this place worst fish & chips I've ever had. Chips were re heats, fish was dry, mushy peas cold, the only thing that was ok, was the bread & butter. Absolute waste of money. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND.

Under new ownership . What have they done with one of the best Chippys in the area ? The prices have gone up and the quality has definitely gone down . Ridiculous cheap haggis which looked & felt microwaved . Changed the previous breast of Chicken to a “Half Chicken” & bumped the price up …..Half Chicken my @rse ! & had lots of blackened chip ! Won’t be back .

Was in this evening,friendly banter with staff.food was good.didnt have to wait to long,even though it was busy.

New owners making cutbacks already it seems. Ordered a chilli pizza and there was literally one spoonful of chilli on it and minimal cheese. Also phoned up to give them feedback. Lady on the phone was very nice and said she would pass my feedback to the pizza chef.

Placed order online. Phoned 15 mins after ETA to see if it had left yet and was told it had just left. 20mins later it was delivered, food piping hot except the cheese burger. Oven Pizza didn't have any cheese on it and dough over cooked. Definitely thinking twice before ordering again. Not an impressed customer

it was a terrible environment the way the staff speak to their younger employees is absolutely disgusting do not recommend going there even if it’s your last resort! food is not properly cooked and the waiting time is a joke!

Very disappointed. Usually your pizzas and calzones are excellent, however tonight's was rotten. It looked fine on the outside but there was far too much tomato sauce inside and the filling was cold and uncooked... deeply unpleasant

Updated 09/03/2024 Ordered food on the 8th of March. Food arrived in good time minus the pizza….. called up was told it was forgotten……but rather than cook me a fresh one they waited for the driver to return to collect then deliver. Was slightly warm when arrived but ruined the pizza overall. Plus other people had eaten their food!!! 9th of March……. The following night…… place another order as we are mostly always happy with the food…… food arrived again and guess what……. Minus 2 pizzas!!?? Delivery driver told us someone else was delivering the pizzas!! How can this be?? Surely if you are making an order then make all the items together and send together. This makes me believe the pizzas are coming from another restaurant!!! Order from here all the time. Placed an order tonight at 6:30 for a 7:30 delivery, the driver then calls me 40 mins early saying he is at the door with the food. Explained I wasn’t in and ordered it for 7:30. His reply ‘well I’m here now, how long you going to be’ told him 7:30 as that’s when i wanted the food. So 7:30 arrives no food. Get a just eat text at 7:46 saying food is on its way. Then get a call 15 mins later saying do I still want the food!? Confused? Yeah me too!! Then started the refund process through just eat only to be told that I wasn’t being refunded as they were busier than usual? Still confused? Yeah me too! How can you be busier than usual but tried to deliver my food 40 mins early? Won’t be ordering from here again! Shame as the food is usually top notch!!

Ordered from here last night and pizza arrived 25 mins later than the rest of the food!!! How’s this possible? Called and was told it was forgotten, so was left sitting in the cold until driver collected and delivered rather than a fresh one made…….ordered again tonight and guess what??? Same again. Food arrived…….. missing 2 pizzas. Which leads me to believe the pizzas are made elsewhere. Shame as we order from here all the time. This is the last time we will use Dani’s.

Missing 1 of 2 items in order. An entire pizza. They redelivered it half burnt. Clearly they just reheated it. Chips were re-fried. This place is a shadow of itself. I've never felt the need to leave a negative review for any place... but this was that bad.

All the pizza toppings stuck to the lid of the box so basically got a pizza base, total disaster!

Very disappointed with the large munchie box food was cold soggy and the bottom of the box was all soggy and burst I order from here a lot but a wount be rushing back eany time soon as I have seen a decline in the food the past few months

so first of all after checking other negative reviews the responses are very negative back, always blaming something or the customer. So first time ordering, got delivered someone elses food, called and sorted quickly. i see from other comments regarding they make pizza the italian way, well the certainly dont make the mac n cheese italian way, they make it the tin heinz way, disgusting mush. Classic chocolate milkshake with ice cream, was not a bit ice cream in it, was thin and watery.

The pizza was Luke warm and the lid was pressed firmly down on the pizza so it was all stuck together. I normally only get the thin base so I couldn’t eat it. Loved the Victoria Sponge & the ice cream.

Fairly good food but a bit overpriced and fairly small portions compared to similar places, update November 2020, change original to very overpriced £1-89 for a roll with square seriously!!!!!! Heart attack food at heart attack prices.

We ordered 2x 16 inch pizzas, which we normally love. Tonight there was hardly any tomato sauce base on either pizzas and minimal sprinkle of cheese meaning we had 2 large doughy , dry pizzas which no one enjoyed . Waste of £30

For the third time we had something missing !

That's your last fella!! 2 prime cut haddock full fish suppers, a haggis and a bag of chips. January the 5th about 18:30. Prime cut haddock? Wow, do you cut the prime bit off and sell the rest to me? The fish were the size of my hand and the chips were what can I say? The batter while it was crispy was so thick I thought the fish was covered in rice crispies. The chips were harder than Jimmy Boyle.... never again!! That was almost £30.... you won't get it from me again. Eat elsewhere folks....

Once again I've ordered from here and it's been a massive disappointment, the portion sizes are just outrageous at this point. Almost £11 for a fish supper and you barely get a handful of chips in it, I've never had a chippy in my life that gives such small portions of chips in a supper. There's nothing special about this place to justify the price other than the fact it's one of the only places Erskine has to order from, the fish is average, and the chips are the same. Also, not taking card payments in store in 2023 is a joke.

They forgot to put portion of chips in but after a call , they were here in five minutes with a replacement..great service

Wee mix up over time then had to cal to see where food was, got that sorted - still not got the voicemail!! - but hotdog was stone cold when it arrived. Made up for it with the red velvet cake though.

Haven't been in for years ,it's getting worse ,they're only interested in profit ,place is minging I got to the door and turned away, it's the same as it was ,grubby,tatty,crazy size of menu, signs everywhere not even computer signs,ink marker on cardboard then sellotaped ,Owner probably doesn't even have a lap top as it's cash only ,Erskine is a fairly affluent town and deserves better than this coup,it looks like it's the type you see in Easterhouse,Drumchapel,etc where the clientele eat nothing else so they don't bother affording any care to the place

£4.49 for a tiny pizza crunchie? I ordered a supper. The milkshakes are fine but that’s ridiculous.

The food was left in my porch by the driver who did not knock the door.l had to call the store and the service afforded me was dreadful and l had just missed the owner who had just left and there were no supervisors or management on site.l want a full refund or l will contact environmental health and trading standards.

Got notification to say it was with driver on way. It took 40 mins to get here ( it's a 2min drive) food was cold. I usually order direct and don't have this issue so won't use just eat for them again.

Hot Dog was exceptional. Chips were good also. However I did order 2 portions of chips to go with the hot dog yet only received one. I’m assuming I only received one as it was one small portion.

Had a few issues with my order so called the restaurant to discuss. My order was re sent out and was incredibly fresh and piping hot thoroughly enjoyed it. Always feel it’s only fair to discuss issues with the place your ordering from first & giving them a chance to rectify any problems before leaving a bad review. Favourite chippy won’t go anywhere else 👍🏼

5mins late but Driver explained that you were drivers short. Blackpudding fritters delicious but yet again the special rib was brick hard as though it had been in the warmer for hours. Cake was lovely.

Real shame place is normally very reliable but only half order arrived then a staff member with shop came with pizza when they realised it was left behind which was great. Unfortunately the pizza when it came was so hard it was inedible

I used to love Danis. My last 2 suppers were burnt. This order was the same and the steak pie was rock hard.

Lovely battered chicken, you do have to encourage staff to add plenty of salt n vinegar as they're very skimpy on that and don't move main supper item to season chips under it

Ordered a takeaway from this place …….. won’t ever again . Single sausage was more like 2 hotdogs in batter , piri piri chicken burger was tasteless as the chicken was more like a piece of chicken from a frozen packet of birdseye pack of 4 and as for the onion rings there was more batter than onion 🥵🤢they had the cheek or I had the stupidity to pay £18 inc delivery for this and to make matters worse waited over an hour for it to then be delivered and couldn’t even say it was Luke warm ……. AVOID this place at all costs Baracuda is far superior

So good. I made a special request on my pizza which was maybe a bit odd for them to burn it a bit underneath and they done it to perfection. So good.
