Poor quality, for 15 years I used to run Italian places ,won multiple times Scottish Italian awards . Quality of the pizzas to the value of the money what I spent is very poor . If u order spicy dish it supposed to be spicy . I must say delivery time it’s the only + in here . As I said 15 years career in hospitality industry which 11 years of that used to be in head chef role for fine dining etc . Quality of the pizzas very very poor for spending over 50 quid I was expecting more

My order didn’t arrive. the app says it’s delivered, and when I tried to call the store the phone rang out until it told me they were now closed.

It's been a long tome since I had ordered Pizza for a delivery, but I was tempted to try Papa Johns having seen their menu was featuring a Tandoori Chicken option. Delivery on a Wednesday evening was quick. Ordered at 6:45pm, it was delivered at 7:15pm. The delivery driver was polite and friendly. The two pizzas I ordered were hot and delicious. All of their elements tasted fresh. The dough was crisp and had a lovely, chewy crust. My only disappointment was that, as seems to be usual for all the chains, the dip was Garlic, which I can't stand. Why can't we be given a choice? I am fortunate enough to have several pizza delivery options to choose from locally, but I have often been left disappointed by the lack of toppings (D******) or really greasy (P**** H**) orders that I've had delivered. Based on my experience this time, Papa Johns Paisley will be my first choice when I next get the craving.

Ordered a pizza at 15:45 said to be delivered by 16:30-16:40. Checked the app at 16:45 as the food hadn’t shown up and was marked as delivered ? Called the restaurant to ask where

Marked it as delivered and wasn’t here. Had to call the shop who said it was on its way. Marked delivered to look good to just eat. Pizza Luke warm and bland. Won’t be ordering here again

They are usually late, the app tells you to be on their way and they take more than half an hour on a journey that takes 22 minutes walking. The pizza arrives cold.

Abysmal. Ordered pizza at 1831. I called at 1932 to politely enquire as to where it was - as the app had it ‘cutting’ since 18:51. They told me it would be 5 minutes. At 19:50 I called again, I was told it would be 5-10 mins. At 20:06 I called again to cancel. I was told a refund would be issued, but the driver was still on his way and I could have the pizza. It’s 20:45 - still no sign. Wouldn’t be quite as annoying if I wasn’t in a hotel with the restaurant now closed… if you want my advice, don’t bother!

food arrived very late and cold and the wrong drink bottle was given . all in all a waste of money

The chewiest pizza I've ever tasted. It seemed to be cooked with the pepperoni and cheese almost burned but the pizza base had no crisp and was so so chewy. The piri chicken bites were good in fairness.

First time trying papa johns and the house gets food poisoning from it. Amazing first time trying anywhere and when I call them to make them aware of it they laugh about it. My elderly mother has been sick in bed all day with food poisoning but I'm glad they find it funny. Will definitely not be going again and wonder what a health inspector will make of it after a visit. I suggest anyone go anywhere but here for food.

My Daughter and her friends had a problem with their order placed via the online app - When the order was delivered, some items were duplicated and some items missing. I visited the shop to explain the problem and everything was sorted out perfectly. The missing items were made while we waited. First Class customer relations.

The service was horrible! We order a pizza at 19:20 and I call them at 21:00 to ask about the pizza as it wasn't delivered yet. The lady tha she was on the phone was lying about her job position as she said she was the General Manager in the beginning and after she said that she was the assistant manager. She was shouting at the phone to other members of staff and when I said that I wasn't happy with the situation and I would like a refund she said "if you want a refund I am gonna cancel your order, food or refund " that was her answer. I asked for her name and she was refused to give it to me and she was extremely rude! Honestly the worst service ever! I never experienced something like that in the past from this store. She was extremely rude! I don't recommend this place anymore to anyone!

The order was incomplete. The delivery driver said he would bring the missing item but he never showed up. Even though food was delivered on time, both pizzas and chicken wings were pretty much cold.

I think this store has been taken over by new people or something because it used to be great and any issues dealt with in a prompt and satisfying manner with good customer service, however as of late (the last few months or so) they can't get an order right and also don't want to address issues after making mistakes. Trying to get anywhere with these new people is stressful and frustrating between what seems to be a bit of a language barrier as well as their lack of regard to actually get your order right. The last 3 times dealing with them there has been an issue every time, from getting the food wrong, or the order simply not showing up with no communication after over 2 hours and myself as a young woman standing on the dark street corner late at night thinking I was waiting to assist a busy delivery driver working late, before ultimately going to bed at midnight on a work night with no dinner. Then told the next day the car broke down...? Why not call me then to let me know at least?... to losing (?) my details regarding the replacement order I was owed and then ignoring the fact I was due a free replacement before trying to charge me again including a re-charge for delivery. The have also hung up on me on one occasion whilst trying to discuss one of aforementioned and refused to let me speak to the manager, leading me to make a formal complaint before. Today I tried to get my replacement order from the last time having an issue wihch took around 20 mins of comunication back and forth with 2 people across 2 phone calls, before ultimately settling on my replacement papadia to be sent out with one more we would pay for. I tried to add on a dip as well, and was told no dont worry a dip comes with eac papadia. So the 2 papadias then arrive. With 0 dips. honestly a total joke by this point they cannot get any order right. Give it a miss and go to another papa johns, if any, I dont know whats happened to this one but it's rubbish now

Got the wrong order delivered after an hour of waiting then had to wait another hour for them to deliver the correct order so over 2 hours waiting to get dinner. not acceptable.

Food didn’t arrive, restaurant didn’t know what was going on. Then said they didn’t have any couriers so weren’t going to be doing any just eat today. Shambles

Food was late by 30 mins, cold and missing items. Driver really couldn’t have cared less. Food quality is the worst I’ve ever experienced on this app…will not be back.

I've ordered my pizzas to arrive between 19.10 and 19.30 as I'm nightshift and leaving for work at 20.30 It's now 20.25 and the order still hasn't arrived David

ordered a pizza and chicken and its still now here. tried to call several times but no answer.. absolute joke

One of the best pizzas I've had from a takaway chain and reminded me of authentic pizza I've had from proper Itallian eateries. dips not as good as dominoes. Would eat the pizza from here again, but sides left a little to be desired.

£45 for 3 pizzas no sause aggressive driver raw ingredients never ordering from there again, a local corner shop is better than that

I’ve been ordering from Papa Johns since it opened on Glasgow Road, food is always brilliant, delivery time is bang on, best pizza takeaway I’ve come across, definitely knocks out the competition in my opinion.

Ordered 2 pizzas for the family. Turned up over done on the top and the dough is like rubber. Looks and tastes terrible, you would think it was a reheat from a few days ago. Just go to domino's or any other local takeaway. Don't waste your money

I order from here a lot and have never had an issue at all, nothing bad to say about the food or delivery times etc. My only gripe is that the delivery driver is extremely rude and makes you feel very uncomfortable when he’s delivering your food. Can tell he clearly hates his job and he should maybe consider finding a new job 😂

Got my grandson a small cheese pizza Fixed price and definitely not very small my grandson loved it very tasty looking even for myself who doesn't eat pizza

Can't tell you how the pizza is. Waiting 50mins from booking time. Only to be told that the driver took the delivery to another address...... Unprofessional. Just an update. Pizza eventually arrived, there is no way that this was a freshly made pizza. This was obviously the one that was taken to the wrong address. It was cold. Absolutely awful, the worst pizza I have ever tasted. I would avoid this place. Plenty of better places in Paisley for a pizza.

I had a bill malfunction. I called up and Richard was more than helpful. Really he was a breath of fresh air to talk to and very helpful. The whole family were happy.

Never buy from here, almost everytime I order from Papa John's Paisley, they give me undercooked pizzas with raw ingredients slapped on top, not to mention the disgusting "Garlic dipping sauce", I prefer the name "Melted Butter with Essence of Garlic", It's disgusting, The pizzas are foul and the Sides are terrible.

Accidentally ordered food for a collection instead of delivery, called the restaurant to ask if possible to change to delivery, unfortunately delivery wasn't an option as they just don't deliver to my place. Asked to cancel the order, was refused as apparently my order was "ready" even if I called right after I ordered, staff told me that they need permission from their boss to cancel the order. Haven't heard from anyone for the rest of the evening. Called twice to be informed that they will call me back when they will hear back from boss. Called next day for any updates, been told that team leader will be available after 7pm. When arrived to speak to them been told again that can't get refund as boss didn't get back to them. Ended up with getting my food. Never heard sorry from team leader. Very poor customer service. Definitely won't be back.

Ordered a pizza tonight and chicken poppers ... we got order an hour later... chicken poppers where not great .. pizza was not cooked .. my partner phoned to complain .. she spoke to Alan the manager who was shouting down the phone at her ... customer service was very bad... Alan needs training.. please beware if u eat more than 2 slices they will not replace pizza ... very disappointed !!

17.99 for cheese and tomatoes with double pepperoni and super ultra salty i don't know if its because of pepperoni or literally salt . i used to buy from this place ordered all the time Large chese and tomatoes with pepperoni and it was 10.99 and was never this salty that you can't eat . Never going again .

Tried Papa John's for the first time tonight. Their customer service was 10/10 and the food was delivered quickly, hot and tasty! Only thing i didn't like were the dips. Will definitely be back.

Very average pizza - first time ever and possibly won't go again - meat feast type pizza lacked a decent amount of BBQ sauce. Domino's meatilicous is superior. Disappointed!!! 👎

The Papa Johns in Paisley is hands down the best one to go to. We travel over from Dumbarhon because we lioe it that much. A friendly service. And the pizza's you get look like the ones in the pictures.

Walked miles to get here to pick up a pizza on my way home. Closing time advertised as 1am but arrived at 12:15am to be told they were not accepting any more orders. I was intending to spend around £40 on pizza and sides but now won’t be using this place again. Staff waited till we had viewed the menu and made our choices before telling us we couldn’t order. Pathetic service. Won’t be back.

Better getting a pizza from ALDI and a bottle of wine or a couple of beers to go with it for the same price.. as Papa Johns is not very special..

Delicious pizza, within 10 mins!

1st time ordering from them almost an hour to arrive,pizza was almost cold but was too hungry to call for another 1 so quick blast in the microwave all good.ok thoughts on pizza it was amazing loved it and also the cookie wow nice price for such a large cookie was almost size of a small pizza lol also liked the cinnamon pull apart tasted nice.i will order again.just 1 thing any chance of a free dip to dip my crusts in dominos does it 😁 NEW update called today 23rd July asked if pizza was on the way as was kinda long waiting and told they never had my order as I was arguing on phone with guy the door went and it was my pizza delivery.the guy on phone was a moron no clue what so ever and pizza was luke warm but too hungry to send back for another had waited to long for 1st 1 so microwave it was.

I gave a bad review for this place a couple of years ago, but I've ordered again a couple of times and even been in store twice and everyone has been nice and the food has been good. I still think there's some discrepancies with the amount of dips you should be getting (why skimp on dips?) when you purchase extra and we've been given full fat coke instead of the diet we ordered (which was for a diabetic). These are just a couple of niggles (we noticed the coke so no one died) and aren't going to stop us from ordering again.

Pizza had a hair on it, called up and they said they won’t do anything about it because my girlfriend had already started eating her half of our pizza. They then said that it could not have been any of theirs and insinuated that it’s mine. Disgusting.

wonderful vegan pizza, add extra cheese or try the vegan sausage, wonderful. great for those late nights in, and if theres any left over its great cold too

Used PJ's last night for the first time, as I usually go to Domino's. Was honestly better the pizza was extra hot with a crispy base excellent for £6.99

Ordered a £30+ delivery, and was told it would be arriving within an hour. After an hour and a half went, still no pizza. I called to check how long the delivery would be, and I was told they have no record of my order on their system, and didn't off any solution to resolve the issue. I wasn't looking for any money off, or discounts. Just assurance that they would be sending it. They just repeated that it wasn't on their system, so I cancelled the order. Avoid this shop and order from another papa johns store.

Ordered 2 pizzas & 2 sides. Managed to get my pizza wrong by using tomato instead of bbq sauce. Wasn't impressed by quality of pizzas either. Garlic cheese sticks are lovely though.
