Pizza La Vita in Bath and North East Somerset

A firm staple local option, Olly and Jenny make the tastiest pizzas around! Made fresh there and then, they don't skimp on ingredients which are always the best quality. We occasionally pop in to order but they do also deliver, which is veeeeeeery lazy for us being around the corner haha! I cannot more highly recommend this independent take away.

Ordered two pizzas from here this evening after seeing some good reviews from Just Eat. The Pizzas arrived Hot and in good time and smelt good, however as I started eating the pizza I soon realised we made a huge mistake ordering from here. Tasteless, greasy, soggy base and the toppings honestly tasted so stale and old. It made me instantly feel sick. I've seen mixed reviews on here, but honestly.. my experience, I would highly avoid this place!!

Ordered two chicken burgers and a kebab at 5 to be delivered at 7.30 both the burgers was raw rang up to see if unit could be resolved but was told they wouldn't do anything

the calzones were definitely NOT hot shots. they were all mostly cheese with no hot or spiciness at all? the jalapeños peppers sprinkled on the side was hotter than the calzones. very disappointed. quite bland, tbh? sorry.

I hate to leave poor reviews but I spent £81.00 on this order for 5 people and it was dreadful with almost everything going in the bin. I ordered donor kebab’s so I can’t comment about pizzas but I won’t be using them again I’m afraid. The meat was really poor quality, tasteless and stone cold.

Found mold through my cheese, had 2 poritions found mold all through out didn’t check just bit into a chip and the cheese tasted odd so began to look through and found mold. I am also heavily pregnant.

This is a great place to get great food at an affordable price. The pizzas are freshly made and they can get busy but is worth the wait because the food is always nice and hot.

Onion rings were nice as was the garlic mushrooms but the chilli dip I ordered with the kebab and garlic sauce with the mushrooms was in a McDonald’s style dip pre made little dips and completely horrible plus a very small amount, kebab was ok but donner meat chewy and greasy would prefer a more crispy meat, also chicken was a bit fatty, salad was nice and fresh though, won’t be ordering again and surprised by high marks on other’s reviews!!

Great food and variety of pizza. Atmosphere is ok as they sometimes get busy but the most important thing is the service and food. It's a shame that the previous reviews from 5 years ago was under the previous owner and not the current owner as food and service has improved

Would give a 0 star if I could. First pizza came with no sauce and no sausage topping which was extra and paid for. Pizza was also cold on arrival. Didn’t get buy 1 get 1 free offer. Ordered yesterday was told the free pizza is always margarita not your own choice. We were fine with that. If you ordered one of your choice via just eat it has automatically come with your order, this has been the case for a while, today we were told you have to choose pizzas of your choice and order both through just eat which unsurprisingly charges you for both pizzas, this is how they now do the bogof offer in the space of 24hours.But leaves you out of pocket because neither are free. Policies change daily it seems. An update to just eat would also be advisable cause as it stands it’s false advertisement. Ordered side of hot wings and got delivered raw in the middle. Picture to follow This is the second time we have had issues with these guys due to us having to ring to confirm that there is no cheese on 1 of the pizzas due to severe allergy. Any allergy information must be written in the delivery instructions according to the establishment. It just seems like when you have to ring due to anything to do with the order you become an annoyance and the standard of the food slips, Customer service skills needs work. Understand businesses are busy, but the attitude is unnecessary when it’s concerning genuine allergy concerns. Bit disheartened to say the least as we were regular cause the kids loved em. Delivery drivers lovely and friendly, never moaned at prices before, but unfortunately the bad experiences are enough to forget the good and we won’t be inconveniencing them with our custom anymore.

I’ve been using Pizza la Vita for years. Their pizzas are delicious and they do a calzone option for a pound extra! The kebab wraps are also good and it’s great value for money! Delivery wise I have never had a problem. Definetely recommend!

Phenomenal pizzas - and they make a fantastic cheesy garlic bread too. The rest of the menu, however, is just standard kebab shop. Make sure you get a pizza!

this take away was absolute disaster...went for a cheese burger meal...when it was done I went to collect it I opened the wrapped burger only to find no cheese slice in it or salad just plain....I asked for my drink as t was a meal they said it doesn't come with a drink.....the workers are very unhelpful and look miserable I won't be going back there ever again.

I'm parked up in my Truck delivering in Bath in the morning. Strolled around to collect my food the blokes that run it are 1st class grub was spot on , didn't wait long freshly made to order well worth a try , AND they gave me a garlic bread with cheese on the house 👌👌TEN OUT OF TEN 👌👌

The Kebab is good and thats about it. The service is terrible the food came 2 hours late and the Kebab pizza made everyone ill the next day!

In short: would you like a bad pizza in 90 minutes? Well look elsewhere. The best pizza la vita can do is a guy-wrenchingly disgusting pizza in three hours. After a year of avoiding this place, friends insisted we try it again, to everyone’s ultimate displeasure. Keep you evening free, since the worst pizza you’ve eaten might wait until 4am to arrive, despite you calling in in their grim reaper circa 11pm. Aside from the abominable quality and timing, the delivery guy was very polite. —————— A steady decline in food quality and service, while prices rise year on year. It has been a shame to see what used to be one of the best pizza delivery restaurants in Bath provide continuously disappointing experiences. If you need a cold pizza in a few hours, order now.

Ordered the giant 30" 4 variety pizza. Very nice with on time delivery. Garlic bread was added free for us😀. Highly recommended.

'Hello Gorgeous' from the owner over the phone was the start of his unprofessional manner! Followed by presuming I was in my early twenties, telling me if I come and meet him he will cook dinner for me, assuming I was a student and did not work, talking about my summer holidays... I'm 34 and my life is none of his business... I just wanted a bloody takeaway!!!

Stopped by to pick up a pizza as had seen collection special sign in the window! Unfortunately the offer had just finished but the owner was happy to still let me have the pizza at that price! Thank you! Good tasty pizza with loads of toppings and nicely cooked. Will certainly go there again when next I see the offer.

Ordered a pizza over an hour ago. Driver turned up with a meat pizza when I'm veggie and ordered 4 cheese. I called to ask if I could have money back and the owner shouted down the phone at me, telling me I could only have money back if I returned the pizza, which he said he would throw away, just to prove a point! It's a shame because the pizza is nice. Never ordering again!

Food took 1hr and 30mins to arrive then when the driver couldn't find the house he rang and started shouting at us order was cold and food items were missing

I had the rudest experience with the delivery man, he left me two aggressive and angry voicemails in the space of 2 MINUTES (6.06 and 6.07pm.. even though the food was ordered for 6.30pm) he claimed to have been knocking, when in reality he had been sat in his car down the street the whole time and hadn't even bothered to get out the car to deliver my food. I came out of the house, and he shouted to me that I had not answered my phone (which was again not true) and made me walk to him to get my food. I will never order from here again until they find respectful employees who don't make innocent girls feel scared to even open their door to a delivery man!

2.5 hours for a delivery from a mile down the road, and very rude about the delay. We have used them for over 6 years but now its time to try the pizza shop in Chelsea road

Food was late ordered a half pounder received only a quarter no ketchup happy to take your money but not deliver what you ordered also on top of my waiting 1hr and 45 mins for food had to go out in the rain as the driver got lost I won't order there again and also I'm not one to leave reviews so this is saying how unhappy I was

Surely one of the best pizzas I have ever tried since I have been in the UK. It is worth a 5/5, although I rated 4 because the delivery time was a bit long. I found this pizza better than Dominos or Pizza Hut

Ordered 3 pizzas for a treat and was told food would be with us within 40-60 minutes and when this time had gone by I phoned then and was talked to like I was dirt and the manager said if your not prepared to wait for my food then in a very rude way go away and order food elsewhere . Wow what customer service wouldn't recommend them to anyone not even very clean in there shop

Amazing and fresh pizza cooked and made to order, they are really good with deals it's cheaper to pick up pizzas, call and collect. But they did muck up our order but it didn't mind because they were really Delicious and tasty.

Pizza la Vita is our family's regular delivery choice. The staff are lovely and the food always arrives hot and quickly, it wouldn't win any culinary awards but it is consistent and very, very reasonably priced. Their calzones are very impressive as are the chicken goujons. In fact the former remind me of Italian street food. The pizzas are perfectly good but would be so much better with the addition of a little oregano to the sauce and if only they would use a decent quality mozzerella or offer it as an option they could rival many restaurants. That and the addition of skinny fries to the menu would make this our favourite take away of all time however these are only niggles and would probably only matter to us. The menu is fairly wide and covers all of the pizza/burger takeaway staples. Thet have a good range of sundries such as onion rings and mozzerella sticks which are cheap and the portions very generous. If you are on a budget and looking for a midweek treat I can't recommend Pizza la Vita highly enough. I would always choose them above Domino's and the other chains not only for value for money but also for both speed and consistency. So support a local small business and give them a try.

Don't eat here if you have any allergies. Ordered a pizza for delivery with 'no dairy' specified in the "additional information" section and received a pizza with cheese on. Called up to ask for another one and was told that the chef doesn't bother to read the "additional information". We mentioned that if anyone was seriously allergic to a specific ingredient, they could end up being hospitalised, to which we were told "well if you see it, you don't have to eat it". When the new pizza arrived the delivery driver said "we didn't know that cheese was dairy". If you're going to run a restaurant, at least be aware of peoples individual needs when they mention them.

I have to say these guys are top notch first time i ordered from them brings back all sorts of nostalgic memories from great times in Bath!! great place great people. Yesterday I have ordered one of the special offers and some drink, I really like the pizza I get although the delivery always happens to be messed up, once I didn't receive 2 things from my order and last night I gave it another chance and ordered food for £26, when I gave the delivery man £30 he informed me he doesn't have change and it looked like he is ready to leave it at that. It is not my job to bring the change but the delivery person, he looked at me shocked like its my fault. I'm very unhappy with the delivery and ordering service even tho the food is nice the service is not worth the money.

I stopped here for lunch the restaurant is very grubby and needs a Refurb the food was cooked well and tasted ok and the price was ok as well maybe if I wasn't so hungry I would have walked past his place

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. I wish I could give them zero stars. Ordered my food and when it wasn't delivered after nearly 2 hours, rang the restaurant to see where it was. Could barely understand the man I spoke to and it took him a good 10 minutes to find out where my order was (after arguing that my postcode doesn't even exist!) Finally, I found out that my post code does exist (a revelation, I must say) and that my food was not even cooked, let alone out for delivery. He tried telling me it would be delivered within 7 minutes - which I find hard to believe considering it wasn't even cooked! I told him I was unhappy and wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. His response was 'OK, bye'. I will be telling everyone I know never to order from this restaurant - the service is HORRENDOUS, staff are rude and there wasn't even so much as an apology. Disgusting.
