Pizza La Bella in Leeds

Very quick for collection but food was expensive 8.50 for a chicken wrap on its own which was mostly made up of salad was quite disappointing

The food is good but it has started to get expensive. It is therefore not as good a value that it used to be and you don't seem to get the amount of toppings that you did before. Also the kebab meat seems to be getting cut thinner .

We ordered a kebab, cheesy chips and an additional naan bread. The naan bread was practically a popadom. Tough and snapped easily, way over cooked. The cheesy chips weren’t cheesy chips. It was a portion of chips with chips plonked on the top (not melted). Disappointing.

Delivery took 1.5 hours for 1 11” pizza and a small portion of chips. Unsure why they put a delivery time and then delivered 40mins after that. No answer when phoning the shop line busy. Pizza was fresh and tasty , chips were small for price. Overall very expensive, nothing special and wouldn’t probably order again

Ordered doner meat and chips and a burger. Waited 50 mins for it to arrive and then my partner pulled two on the longest hairs out of his mouth. Was told they would replace it straight away with a drink and chocolate fudge cake. Only the doner meat was sent. Won’t be ordering from here again.

This place has gone down hill just used it for the last time

Absolutely gorgeous deep pan chicken and mushroom pizza. Packed with chicken and mushroom, was really tasty. Delivery driver really polite. Will definitely order again.

Can not even deliver in time frame and also the staff on phone giving information out that isn’t right on how long the food would be. And delivery driver didn’t say any apologies or anything… didn’t hear an apologising from staff at the place either… disappointing and also will never be going back now…

Normally the best calzone I've ever had, but the one that came last night arrived with no pizza sauce inside and cheap ham that looked it was from the supermarket. You guys insist the more expensive price is justified by a guarantee of better quality ingredients, but what a joke.

Great food, friendly staff always on time or early

This place used to be an absolute gem! It’s generally still better than the cheaper takeaways around, even if it’s not what it used to be… As other comments mention, the quality of food and quality of service has dropped gradually over the years… but still decent, just not super special anymore :( This place now charges similar to most restaurants, so if you’re wanting something extra special, you’re best going to collect elsewhere. But if you’re happy with something slightly better than the usual takeaways, and don’t mind paying the fee, then still worth ordering… :)

Portion sizes are a joke, prices extortionate, delivery slow. Nothing good about this takeaway at all.

Wow just wow, fillet kebab cost £13.15 for a few bits of fillet that hasn't even half filled the pitta also it was flat cold

First time customer, chose lasagna. Ample mince and cheese, but I didn't notice much pasta. Not sheets of pasta anyway. Or it was just poor quality. It tasted neither good nor bad. I told the manager off over the phone but he didn't care.

Only a couple of years ago this was a lovely takeaway restaurant with great service now the food is very expensive, often really average quality and the portion size very small for the money consequently the family hardly ever use their services

Consistently great! Never had any problems. Burgers and pizzas especially are top quality. Whenever we've ordered on delivery, drivers are always friendly. One of my favourite takeaways.

Overrated and overpriced called in for some grilled chicken and chips to find they don't do it, only chicken tikka and chips, pretty limiting the combinations thought they may have moved with the times and the prices given are not the prices on the menu, my last time here.. what's the difference between grilled tikka and unspiced grilled chicken?

For the past 6 years this has been our go to take away. The pizzas and burgers are always very good. I don't think I'll be ordering from here anymore, prices are higher than Dominoes now. £3.05 for a small portion of chips is unacceptable.

Absolutely joke of a takeaway the prices are extortion and reduced the portion sizes £3.05 for a portion of chips pictures attached!! with about 20 chips in the box for frozen chips, gone so downhill go to PIZZA PIZZA instead you won’t be disappointed

It’s not the cheapest of places and I think they charge over the odds specially when you ask for cheese on chips and get two strings disgusting

Always hot food and friendly delivery service

Regular customer every weekend. Iron man pizza is my fave so far. Delivery is always prompt and staff are great.

Ordered twice now and both were lovely. Pizzas are well nice and you actually get a decent amount of cheese on your cheesy chips.

Been using la Bella for years, but the service has gone down hill. Placed an order at 18.24 for delivery at 8pm given their mantra is “our delivery window when we’re busy is 90 mins”. Turns out that the “system” only notifies them 40 mins before a timed order is due and given they were quoting 60-70 mins for delivery tonight, the system is broken. No matter how hard I tried to explain this to the girl on the phone, she wasn’t getting it. I asked for the name of a manager to call back at a less busy time - “just ask for the manager”. When will he/she be in? “I can’t tell you”. Apparently no one is in charge! Time to find another take away. So disappointing as the food was ok.

£11 for a burger and chips delivering. This place has gone down hill. Delivery driver says £10.50 takes £11 and just walks off without saying another word.

Pizza and donner kebab are spot on. Love the fat burger too.

Haven't used La Bella for a while as their prices are ridiculous and orders are never right. Gave in and tried them again last night, got home and our stuffed crust pizza wasn't stuffed crust, this is the same as the previous order quite a few months ago. Seems they don't like to give you stuffed crust, either that or someone should go to specsavers!

My girlfriend has told me about this place for the last couple of years and we’ve not tried it together, until last night! I ordered the solzano pizza as I am a meat lover and the strawberry smoothie! The food tasted good but seemed a little undercooked, 4 times I was up at the toilet throwing up and you know what from the other end! Still a whole 14 hours later throwing up 🤢

Send orders with no chillie sauce claim they goin to send a diffrent driver with it waited 40 minutes and cold food no chillie sauce hard up over pot off chillie sauce

25quid for a pizza plus delivery i think not save youre money its just not la bella there all at it delivery service charge 50 p for extra ml of chilli

Food always amazing. Chargrilled chicken kebab my go to! Kebab meat soo good too! Not spicy like other places I have ordered from. Highly recommend!

All Is nice just avoid the jerk chicken if your expecting jerk chicken as it not jerk chicken it chicken with to much leave roots sauce on

I've been going to La Bella for 13 years and have always been so impressed by the quality that I didn't mind paying more because of the quality. However over the past few years prices have increased extortionately and the food quality, portion sizes and service has decreased to appalling levels. I thinks its time to find a new take away...

Premium prices for cheap burger van quality

Ate here multiple times, food is always spot on and prepared fresh. The chips and curly fries are unreal, don’t know what they do to them but they’re delicious. Cheesy garlic bread is a must and the bbq pizza came fully loaded with meats (maybe slightly too much but it still got eaten). The prices are more expensive than other local takeaways but it’s worth it.

Reception lass is rude and puts phone down on customers food is over priced and the place is going down hill

Paid for a deep pan pizza, waited over an hour for the food to arrive (large order), only for the pizza to arrive as worse quality than a frozen pizza. Called the shop and they advised it because the dough hadn’t risen

Just ordered a chicken tikka wrap, it coat me £7.50 just for a wrap no chips or anything my dessert is now in smaller tubs and no warmed like it should be, the delivery guy didn't have any change on him at all had to go back to shop with my money and then come back with my change, I ordered a garlic Mayo dip and they didn't send it which coat £1.10 the prices are shocking! But the wrap was nice

Order from pizza labella all the time. I spend lots … their website wasn’t working so I had to call to Order the lady on the other end of the phone is rude telling me it was my side and when I usually get 10% off she could not even commit to the websites discount I have proof of it been a server error from the website not my technical fault. Last time I order from you you’ve lost a long time customer that’s spends a lot at your takeout. Also could not repeat my address or order. That’s how you loose customers. Poor customer service !

Twice I've ordered from here when relatives were over. Both times, whoever got burgers spewed up everywhere..somebody is definitely not washing their hands or not cooking the burgers properly. Will not be ordering again from here.

Waiting well over 1 hour for a takeaway for 2 portions of cheese and bacon wedges absolutely disgusting and they won't even pick up the phones.

This place was top notch a few months ago but last few orders have been shocking. Tonight's pizza was cold. Had nowhere near the normal amount of pepperoni but definitely not the extra that I paid for. Tried to eat it cold but tasted disgusting. Didn't bother complaining to them as offering a free item on my next order is no good, there will be no orders. Very disappointed.

Ordered a chicken tikka kebab with naan bread which we paid extra for and the bread was like a popadom and broke into tiny pieces. Unable to eat. Called to feed this back and was offered a free naan bread on next order, not the level of service you expect when you have been a customer for years. Was told if I wanted the meal refunding would need to take the naan bread into the shop! Would cost me more in fuel, disappointed and won't be using them again.

I thought this pizza place was ok but after ordering two calazone at 7:15pm and after two phone calls not receiving our food till 9:50pm is terrible poor service you should call and give people the option to cancel if you can’t cope with orders, my child was starving and I would of preferred to order elsewhere had I known it was gonna be over 2 and a half hour wait for food. All that time waiting for disappointing overpriced food, the kabab calazone was full of grease, £25 we could have eaten out for that at tea time not flipping bed time! Not worth the money bad experience for a Friday night so called treat.

Was a regular here and always happay, but quality has slipped lately and delivery times shocking,

would rate 0 star if I could. worst service I have had from a restaurant, they got my order wrong and when I rang up the women on the phone put the phone down; then I rang back and was speaking to a man and could hear the same women swearing and talking about me in the background, the issue was not solved they was not bothered at all. Always use to love labella and their food but recently it has hit a downward spiral and won’t be going again. 1.5hr delivery for a garlic bread and kebab/chips. I rang to ask how long delivery would be to be told it is being is about to be packed and next out… 20 seconds later delivery was made? Is it just a generic thing they tell people and obviously want checked (no address taken, no name, no food asked about). I’ve never had a garlic bread with so much grease floating on top and in the pizza box, the tub of kebab meat was swimming in grease. All in all service is poor and not what it use to be, food is poor quality yet gone up in price, delivery times are shocking, service charge now been added?? For not much service at all

Nice enough food but when you pay extra money to go large on chicken tikka and chips and donner meat and chips and only get same amount of meat and load more chips is discusting chicken tikka was dry as hell and only got 5 medium size pieces for 7.90 this is meant to be a large only large part is the tray and the chips if I could leave a 0 star I would tbh not wort the money at all

Ordered from here a few times and prices are scandalous. 2 baguettes which come with chips £27 😳😳 we questioned as to why so much and they said it was because we added cheese to our chips when we asked the price it was to add the cheese…….and they said £4.60 WHATTTTTT THE HELLLLLLLL IS GOINNNNN ON WITH THAT PRICE. could buy bag for that!

Meat feast pizza only pepperoni & ham pretty poor really for the price

I've used this takeaway on many occasions for their king burger which I used to rave about. But lately, I'm left disappointed. The fries are never fresh or seasoned, the bun is either soggy or hard. The salad is a joke and they charge extra for any sauce inside the burger.I don't mind paying the high price tag for a takeaway burger, just as long as the quality matches! I'm ready to move on to another local takeaway and take my chances. So long la bella.

Honestly, absolutely love this place. Only found it recently on Just Eat, but the pizzas are amazing. Loads of toppings with delicious stuffed crust. Lovely dips, too Not had many sides so can't speak to the quality of those, but the pizza is great

Brilliant takeaway, food is always cooked perfectly I have never in the 3 years I've been ordering from here had a problem with the food. Customer service is amazing as well albeit very busy! I did wish there was a better way to collect large orders, I say this because I tend to order for a whole family which 4/5 boxes and a bag. Nearly every time I leave that front door fully laden with precious food a gust of wind gets me and know one day it's going to end up with all that food on the floor. The food is more than good enough for me to travel from North Leeds.

Getting too expensive and now even charging a service charge??? Will not be using these rip off merchants again.

I used to order from la bella when I lived up Swinnow years ago and loved the food then and love it still now so placed my order and then read all the reviews and I was worried and thought has it really gone down hill? Is the service really that bad and to my surprise my delivery was quick which I couldn't fault and my food was lovely and tasty and cannot fault none of my order at all the chios,burgers,pizza was all great so its 5 stars from me

Just bought a Calzone Mix tonight. Usually it is full with donner meat, chicken tika and peperoni and is filling enough for the two of us. When is came frome the oven it was huge. I should have known from the weight that there was something wrong... it was full of air. Very little donner meat and just a couple of pieces of chicken and pepperoni. It was the most feeble attempt at a calzone I have ever seen. With the extra dip it was also a total waste of the £9.90 I paid. I buy quite regularly from here, not every day but at least once sometimes twice a week. Never again.

Gone downhill big time this place. Sent me undercooked chips with no seasoning on at all. Ended up throwing half the takeaway in the bin it was that bad. For the prices they charge I expect considerably better food. Long term customer lost, bye bye

Please order on labella website didn’t get confirmation email to say restaurant has accepted my order. Order placed at 18.55 then I rang restaurant to see what time my food would arrive within one hour we are very busy I then call at 20.30 to see where my food was drive set of 4 mins ago my food turned up at 20.45 safe today I won’t be ordering again

Waited nearly 2 hours driver was hurrendous. Food came and looked lovely! However was ruined by me choking on a big long black hair in the toppings. Put me off pizza for good i was actually sick. Rang to tell her and warn them that whoever is handling the food needs to tie hair away. She offered to make me another pizza! Dont think so. They didnt seem to care tbh. Never again.

This place that I once loved is going downhill quickly. The most recent thing was part of order missing, again. Deep pan pizzas now the same as thin crust pizzas were before they got so thin they're like poppadoms. I won't be ordering anymore.

Chicken parmo was that badly overcooked the cheese actually tasted of ash! Chips were far too salty, Donner meat just tasted of grease. In fact I should be giving this 5 stars as it will help my bank balance/waistline having put me off takeaways for a while!

Appalling food. Food was cold and not up to strach. Their description of the meals are very much so exaggerated. You pay a lot of money for the meals and they just come as standard as any other takeaway I wouldn't order again

I'm gonna give it a 5* because la bella is amazing... However the pizzas have recently (past year) gone down hill in quality, Main downsides: really oiley but not just on top its oily in the cheese and on the base etc I would suspect that either the oven needs cleaning thoroughly, the base of the over needs cleaning thoroughly or they have adjusted the recipe to include more oil, which definitely weakens the integrity pizza, sauce doesn't always taste fresh but this could be accounted for by the added oil, there's also sometimes excessive amounts of sauce on the pizza so the balance of cheese to sauce feels a bit off, leaving the pizza slightly soggy or seemingly undercooked rather than having a crisp edge Other than that amazing as always - always great service and super clean fresh food

Over priced, under cooked, greasy and horrible. Has this place changed hands or have they just stopped making the effort? Do yourselves a favour and don't let these rob dogs have your money. Such a shame, I used to love this place and it's gone downhill. As the price has gone through the roof, the food has gone down the pan.

Well was on a hyper told would go back for more 😄got a mixed baguette for 7.90 more room in the baguette for a shed full more in and a soggy pizza did not go down well a least dog did not complain

Overpriced for what you get. Coldish and dry pizza, £3.80 for some chips that were cold and I ordered a chicken kebab that came in a pitta bread that was all broken up! Couldn't eat it in the bread🙄🙄 £20 for not a lot of food. Rang up to complain but got told that another would be an hour or a discount off my next order... Safe to say I wouldn't order again!

I always normally order from La Bella as it's a little bit pricier than other establishments but the food is always nicer and there is normally always a prompt delivery service however last night it wasn't the case. After about an hour an half I decided to get in contact with La Bella direct as my food hadn't arrived, the lady left me on hold not letting me know, then eventually advised me that my food was on the way and that I would be given a discount on my next order (I have no idea how they are supposed to work that out, I just assumed it was a ploy to get me off the phone!) I came off the phone and the food then took an extra 15 mins on top of that! The food was clap cold and not up to the usual high standrads, it was ridiculously salty, I was bitterly disappointed as I had been looking forward to it all day. I am unsure why this can't be managed correctly to prevent this from happening? Or at least informed as a courtesy call? I will now be giving La Bella a miss because of its decline in service.

My favorite takeaway in Pudsey by miles. I order a chicken and bacon burger and cheesy chips and it's perfect everytime. Delivery can be quite long on a weekend but it's to be expected when it's so good.

First time of ordering after not using for a while down to bad service and delivery ,only to wait 1hr 50 mins without food , calls up to cancel and says fine.....no apologies no nothing, after reading other reviews wish I hadn't bothered, amateurs trying to pass off a a decent establishment. I ordered a delivery at 7.30pm was told it would be an hour and a half. 9pm I telephoned to ask where the food was, to be told “oh you live near by it will be with you in 10 minutes” food arrived within in 5 minutes. Pizza was not cooked it was just dough with topping in and freezing cold. I have used this takeaway for over 3 years and noticed standers have been slipping, as my last 3 takeaways have not been nice. I telephoned the manager to let him know only to be told he was not in! I advised her he was there as a family member had spoken with him less than 5 minutes ago! Oh yes he did come in the phone only to say “well what do you want me to do about it” I explained I was only giving the heads up that standers are slipping. He said so what and put the phone down!!!!!! We have been loyal customers for over 3 year if not more!!!!
