One of the worst experience I ever had. The pizza - especially Cheese pizza and Margherita pizza is worst than ever. Too salty and can't even taste more than one piece. Please don't deliver these kind of food to customers. I would not recommend this shop to any of the customers.

The best place in Wakefield for pizza!! Mozzarella sticks chips and possibly the best garlic bread in West Yorkshire! Kebab meat just doesn’t cut it for me, too bread like! The tandoori chicken is ok but I tend to find a lot of the meats are far too salty, you know about it the next day, it’s like you’ve licked the Sahara desert!! Burgers are ok but again just generic frozen burgers so don’t expect anything mind blowing, But ultimately everything is made fresh and John genuinely pours his soul into his food and it shows, 8/10 for sure

First time visiting this place. Upon First glance the shop is tiny, no inside seating available. The I ordered a burger meal and whilst it was being cooked I noticed everything is cooked from frozen, nothing is freshly made. The burger itself wasn't too bad but the chips tasted and looked old. I ended up binning them. The garlic sauce given was too thick and gloopy, binned that as well. Overall I wouldn't return here as its not fresh ingredients.

Lovely food and the staff are very helpful

Normally order weekly from here and never really minded the serive as its our treat night but tonight service has been terrible over 2 hours for food to arrive when called them just kept getting told its on its way will only be a few minutes for the order to finally arrive luke warm really greesy and stuff missing tried to call back to tell them with no answer be the last time we ever order from there

Honestly one of the best kebabs i've had. Good size ortions, great service and good prices too.

Ignore the review before me it’s clearly outrageous 🤣 seating in a takeaway? It’s a takeaway not a restaurant and a very good takeaway too! The food is always great quality and consistent, definitely recommend the chicken kebabs and chips with salt and paprika 😉 some of the best food I’ve had in Wakefield and reasonable prices. The staff (all 2 of them) are so friendly and do well to provide such service! The kitchen is always clean neat and tidy. I order from these on a regular basis as it’s so close to work and have never had a problem yet. Thank you both, I appreciate it.

Absolutely banging food! Kebab was not greasy at all! Salad and Pitta fresh, chips cooked just right not cold, floppy or over cooked. I think it's best kebab I've had! Delivery driver very polite also

Ordered 2 kebabs and 2 sides of chips. The kebabs are packaged with salad and sauce separately so you can 'dress' your kebab as you like. Can honestly say it's one of the 'cleaner' kebabs I've had in Wakefield. Unlike others, the naan doesn't get soaked in grease - so that's a plus! The chicken in the mixed kebab is also really good, can tell that's it's been freshly prepared and cooked. Chips are amazing, can't fault them.

Nice pizzas would've been 5 stars but forgot my salad and sauce on my donner meat and chips

Can not fault this place at all. They go above and beyond so you enjoy your food. The special calzone is fantastic, and the delivery guy, absolute legend. Always polite, always smiling, absolute credit to you guys as the face of the business

Delicious food, partically the pizzas! And the chips are yummy too, not soggy, not overly done, just right!! We order online through the pizza joy website so not sure who the owner is as of yet but the delievery man is super friendly and polite, always has a big smile. Great food, excellent service! Me and my girlfriend went it for the usual kebab and chips we get every so often from here as its the best around and on this occasion we went in and he said do i like pizza so i said yes and he hands me a full meat feast pizza and a capri sun on top for absolutely free because of a messed up order or something seriously wouldnt get this sort of service anywhere else lovely man whos passionate about good food cant beat it 10/10! would recommend to anyone in the wf1 area. 👍

Should be called kebab joy. Sauce and salad comes separate so you don’t get a soggy kebab. Ordered tonight on a wim over all the good reviews and I did not regret it! Can’t wait to try their other items. Absolutely spot on! Order came early too which is a bonus, will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!
