Pizza Hut Restaurants in Solihull

Visited last night with my mom and sister. Young waitress clearly unqualified spilt drinks all over my sister’s cardigan, barely got an apology and didn’t offer napkins or anything to clean it up with. Asked for a glass for drink and didn’t get one. Asked for ice in drinks and didn’t get any. Fly was hovering over salad bar and went on peppers, very unhygienic (the same waitress just topped up the peppers that the fly had been on!). Food arrived and pizza was cold, portions of macaroni cheese were tiny as if for children. We ended up finishing the meal in a few minutes at least and left the restaurant swiftly and will not be returning. Manager offered a refund of £13 for the drinks only, shame as I spent a lot more than this.

Just to be upfront - I only go to Pizza Hut because my grandkids like it. They enjoy the self-service aspect of the salads, soft drinks and Ice-Cream. The food is OK. We went there on Monday and it was almost empty. Only one other table occupied. The restaurant was very cold and breezy (AC on too high?). They expect you to order by scanning a QR Code but the reception for mobiles and wifi is very patchy. All that aside, my main reason for writing this review is to name their one saving grace - Megan, our server. She was so friendly and helpful. Her smile and manner warmed the place up. Thank you Megan. 5 Stars for you.

I had the regular buffet with bottomless drink. Restaurant was clean and tidy and our server Ben was friendly and helpful. Loads of fresh pizza and salad bar items being replaced all the time. Highly recommended 👌

Visited your store on Saturday and was served by Meghan . She was very friendly and helped us to order our meal and checked in on us throughout to make sure we were happy even though she was very busy . We really enjoyed Megan’s service as she went above and beyond for us and really made our visit extra special . The manager Demi also came to our table as we are regulars to make sure we were happy with our meal and her staff are very motivated to give the best customer service in store . Very difficult to order via the QR code as you have to register to WiFi first. The procedure to pay should be simplified. Megan was wonderful to accommodate our needs with a smile in her face.

Good variety of gluten free options - both for pizza and for sides/desserts. Friendly and welcoming staff. Pizza on its own is expensive but moving to a meal deal makes it much better.

It would be useful if the salad bar and buffet pizza was labelled with what it was. Megan was really caring and understanding of our students. Megan was polite and helpful. Megan always came back to check on us.

OMG!! Without doubt, the worst experience of my life!! Jeeeeez, I mean I was left speechless by this place … please read this before you even think about going here … seriously … First of all, it’s empty when you go in - this should have been warning sign number one. Secondly, there is about 0.5 people working in there - warning sign number two. There is no one to greet you and you basically have to decide where best to sit yourself so that you might have a chance of getting noticed by that half a staff member …!!! Now, me and my family decided to navigate to a table and eventually someone came and said hello to us. Read on … We were handed menus and decided to go for a couple of pizzas and spaghetti bolognaise for the kids .. now here is where it gets horrendous .. The Pizzas. Well, what on earth can I say? For 20.99 each, we were brought individual Pizza’s the size of a digestive biscuit. I’m serious. It was so small I considered contacting the local government to start a petition for the protection of deep pan pizza’s in the area - as these were becoming extinct and fast. MORTIFIED - I told the friendly but vacant staff member to take the digestive biscuits back to whoever had misplaced them from their cup of tea!! The Spaghetti Bolognaise. Not even worth a full mention. When it arrived, I thought the local crack head had decided to vomit on a plate and ask us to give him a fiver for it so he can go and buy more crack!! For 8.99, this was disgusting and I told my kid not to eat, not that she needed telling mind you. She was so disappointed, on the way out she asked my wife to put her up for adoption on the grounds she was being neglected. If you think this is a joke review - IT ISNT!! This is without doubt THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN IN IN MY WHOLE LIFE! I had locusts on the streets of Thailand that had more appeal than the food from this place. So, if you fancy getting divorced, or want an expensive way to dump your partner, bring them here! Dreadful. Just dreadful.

I’m guessing as I’ve now signed up with my personal details it will be a simpler experience on our next visit to Pizza Hut. We've been coming to this particular restaurant for years now, as we’ve always loved the food, however, we found this whole new ordering process via a phone app rather impersonal as opposed to been able to order our food from someone in person. The ‘Deep Pan’ Margarita has now disappeared from the restaurant menu (the last time we ordered a takeaway from Pizza Hut (at Christmas) it was definitely available. So, I have to say, today’s visit was rather a let down to be honest. I also don’t agree with giving a ‘tip’ prior to dining (I’ve done that before elsewhere and then had a poor experience, so sadly I won’t do that again - which in today’s visit was justifiable anyway). On a more positive note, the young lady who greeted us and then showed us to our table was very pleasant thankfully.

One of the best and most pleasant set of attentive staff I have seen in some time. Very refreshing to see this and is the lasting memory. Is it fine dining or upmarket restaurant, absolutely not but if you fancy lots of very fresh and tasty pizza and bottomless pepsi etc. it's not too bad at all. For me most other restaurants anywhere have disinterested and unhappy staff, a reflection of the current World. Whatever Pizza Hut does for their staff must be good!

Buffet was absolutely beautiful was a wide variety of pizzas and they tasted hot and fresh! Definitely worth doing the lunch deal! The staff were so helpful and friendly too went above and beyond especially Ben! Thankyou so much will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Had a lovely time at Pizza Hut this evening. We was greeted by Megan and she was the nicest, most respectful person. She helped us with the order taking, having a chat with us and the kids about our week. The staff were very quick to help and clean up the cracked salad bowl that we dropped and my daughter wasnt startled which I appreciated. We aren't local to Birmingham so having a friendly face during our visit was great. The staff here are a credit to Pizza Hut as a whole. The food was tasty, and it came quickly. The restaurant wasnt super busy so it was great for small families.

wish i couldn give zero stars. asked the staff if i could order without connecting wifi and all that crap as i had two little kids to handle while ordering rude lady said NO then i paid buffet for 2 kids and 3 seperate drinks kid’s wouldn’t eat so i took a slice. manager came and embarassed me infront of everyone saying U R EATING?. i paid for an adult buffet then and left the rude place. £40 gone waste.. not to mention the food quality was absolutely rubbish.. zero hygiene.. impossible to find a clean plate. glad we left the disgusting place and food

Demi your employee was absolutely fantastic , it's hard to find people like her, she was very attentive, bubbly I hope she gets recognised for her efforts at work. Our only negative is the price of your drinks! £16 for 4 draft drinks that cost your pence is disgusting

I visited with my friend on 22nd April for dinner. We were greeted by Harrison who was friendly and helpful. The customer service we received from him was brilliant. He made our visit special. We ordered two sides, halloumi fries which were nice nothing exceptional but our other side the loaded spicy cheesy bites were delicious. We both had deep pan pizza the Goat, but we found this too sweet with the caramelised onions and sauce. The manager was happy to swap one of these for a vegetarian pizza. We were happy in that. The salad is nice with a variety of sauce. So enjoyed our pizza evening with the food and customer service. Thank you Harrison

We had great customer service for a colleague, she was attentive on what we need and checking if we are missing any food. She asked us about the quality food and if anything could be improved. I would recommend to family and friends.

The pizza tastes bland and more like cardboard than good pizza, a pizza from tesco tastes better in my opinion. Not worth the price of 15.99. Also very small selection of pizza and if your a vegan expect to go for the salad only.

I went with my friends for the evening. For a Friday the service was incredibly fast. The staff were so friendly, especially the lad that served us! He kept making sure if we needed anything and couldn’t have been more pleasant. The food was delicious as usual. The prices are very fair. I look forward to returning!

Very much enjoyed my meal at Pizza Hut here. I had the Buffet Pizza and it was very much worth the money, so I would recommend if you are very hungry. The service was very attentive and friendly. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere because it is just like any Pizza Hut, but that is not a bad thing.

Visited today and was greeted by Demi (Debbie lol) she engaged with us straight away and and as we were the only people at the time of being seated, we were offered a choice of preferred pizza. It was freshly made and done promptly. The restaurant is clean and tidy and I can see how much this place has moved forward since Demi took over. She is clearly passionate about her role. Went in this evening to celebrate daughter’s birthday. Had a really lovely server named Trishan (hope I remembered that right) Young man was incredibly attentive and kids loved him! Surprised the birthday girl with a cookie dough singing happy birthday and a candle to blow out! Food was delicious as always. (Thanks chefs) Thank you for a lovely evening! To be quite honest this was my 1st visit to a pizza hut in almost 40yrs, it was my granddaughter who wanted to go. All I can say I was pleasantly surprised to how everything had changed over the years. All for the better too. I myself didn't eat as I not long had breakfast, but next time I visit in the near future I will definitely be indulging the the adult buffet. Once again to be quite honest & trueful I did get my granddaughter to get an extra slice of pizza for me, just so I could sample what I was missing out on. Yes it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Food was cold… fries needed warming up pizza was like eating cardboard!

Went on probably the busiest weekend of the year (23/12/23). It was very busy, but the tables were turned over super fast. There was no staff standing around doing nothing they were always wiping down something or sweeping something. I was alone with my baby and the female server (in uniform) was super helpful with the items I couldn’t get because I couldn’t leave him at the table alone. Most of the pizzas were nice and hot and the pasta was hot too. The salad bar was never running low. I was actually really impressed, and if you know me..that’s unusual.

We went here whilst we were on an overnight stay in Solihill. We got there in time to be the last customers allowed in The salad buffet was left open for us and our order arrived in good time. The food was hot and tasty, and the staff were attentive and polite.

Fries had peri peri seasoning on them but wasn't stated when placing order Pizzas were cold & tasteless

You now scan a QR code to order your food and drink. Had to do again when ordering the desert separately. Good efficient service. Delicious pizza. Book a table online at least a day before.

Decent American pizza, nice and professional people

Ordering was easy, food was fresh and hot. Waiting staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only had a few teenagers running the restaurant. Slow service and greasy food. Expected really with pizza hut!

Only accept card payments and even then the process of ordering is ridiculous. Have to go online and order your food. What is the point of going to a resturant if there is no waiter to take your order? Secondly, cups were dirty, were given replacements but staff member placed her fingers into the cups from the top. I do not want anyones fingers touching where i am going to drink. You may think im fussy, no.. i witnessed a member of staff pick their nose and then continue to lick their finger!! No hygiene in this place!! Everything felt dirty, looked dirty. When the plates arrived to put our food onto ALL of them had traces of food. At this point i didnt even ask for more plates as i knew the standard would be the same. Used my hands to eat as they were the only things i trusted. Really put off my food by the time it came just thinking about the standard of cleanliness visible to me was appaling, had me thinking what was going in the kitchen. Safe to say the food did not taste nice. Left half the pizza and no, i did not want to take it away thanks. Cookie dough isnt what it use to be. Toilets smelt of urine. Just so shocked from this experience. Dont think i will ever visit a pizza hut again! Seriously gone downhill. Wasted £80 here.

Food arrived cold. App showed “courier” was in the shop for 15 mins? Then it showed them the other side of Solihull? So they were delivering someone else’s miles in the other direction to us so no wonder ours was cold. Poor service from what is usually a better quality pizza shop. Not impressed and won’t use again. At least a local pizza shop arrives hot! This is a shame as their quality is usually great. Very disappointed

I liked the effortless ordering with your mobile and the fact you could join the free wifi with ease. I like the help yourself to drinks and salad it speeds up the wait when youre hungry.

Visited today (Sat 19 Aug) at 4.15...fab, friendly service from all staff. Ordered x2 kids meal deals for my daughter and her friend...was impressed with the value and they enjoyed their food.

Would not recommend. Firstly, the ordering through the QR code was a nightmare when we hardly got signal and then the payment ... Don't understand why cash payment is no longer an option. £5 for fries is ridiculous. Additionally, we wanted to take away our food we couldn't finish and once again had to use the QR code, order again and pay AGAIN for what we had left? Have never been charged for taking away food we had left over. Unfortunately, had to leave what we had left and will not return again

Visited Friday evening, the atmosphere was brilliant, the staff were on top form. The manager Vicky was happy, friendly and it was a joy to talk with her. The food was really nice. I would definitely return. Service with a smile always goes a long way.

Visited yesterday, paid 16 pound each, wasn’t impressed at all, when you spend that sort of money, you expect the pizza to be cooked, you could obviously see that the pizza needed more cooking,very disappointed indeed.

Hi, arrived with family, 4 adults 2 children. Payed 16.99 and 19.99 a total of around 80£. Sat waiting for buffet pizza to arrive for over half an hour. Absolutely awful experience. For the entire restaurant they had only two empty vegetarian trays. Never again to Pizza hut, DONT GO to Touchwood Pizza hut please, buffet is a fraud.

Could not take in more customers due to “systems being down”. Utterly ridiculous as we have to order online by scanning a QR code anyway. More like they did not have enough food supplies to meet the demand for the buffet which ends at 3pm. I entered at 2:30pm. Rubbish restaurant, poor customer service and not going again.

Did not like card only payment or “no deal” business policy. Did not like having to order online without option of discussing menu offerings with someone. Salad offering was limited and tasteless. Pizza though was good to be fair. Had to ask 4 times to 2 members of staff for a takeaway box…gave up after 15 mins.They seemed more interested in clearing tables and mopping floors. Will never return.

I'm honestly amazed this place is still open, it's a dump. I had a bad experience here a few years ago and hadn't been back since, but a few days ago I needed a quick bite before the cinema so decided to give it another try, but we ended up walking out after 5 mins and going somewhere else. They want you to order online, but we couldn't get a connection in the restaurant, and the wifi didn't work. The deals shown on the menu by the door aren't available on the actual menu once you're sat down which is a bit cheeky, and the prices are a joke considering it's pretty much fast food. It's more expensive than Pizza Express a few doors down where the pizzas are made fresh in front of you and the staff actually come over to take your order. Wouldn't recommend going here unless you have no other options.

This place has gone downhill. It's very scruffy inside and more like a fast food restaurant. You have to order and pay at table by scanning a barcode which is annoying and time consuming. The food isn't up to much either and the salad bar is a mess. The staff aren't very welcoming or friendly. It's just not value for money and would not visit again.

Food had to be ordered and paid for via the website, which meant firstly signing up for their WiFi, answering loads of pointless questions, then being thrown off at the point of payment due to "unexpected error". Manager was apologetic and happy to take our order manually after this, but bimey it was a frustrating 20 mins to get to this point. Food was average as expected, but the salad bar and ice cream station were a mess with food spilt across the counters and over the floor. The toilets were also dirty and unpleasant. None of this was surprising due to the place only having 3 serving staff and a cook on duty on a busy pre-Christmas lunchtime. I felt sorry for them all as they were all doing their best and many restaurants are operating under similar cost-cutting measures. Ultimately a frustrating and depressing experience 😢

I love Pizza Hut and of all of the Pizza Huts I've been to, this is definitely one of them.

It was decent, but can only have the margarita or veggy as the meat isn't halal, was okay £10 for adult so not bad, you can have salads and other bits and bobs, staff can be quite weird staring at you once buffet is finished but other than that visit was decent 👍🏻👍🏻
