Pizza Hut in Glasgow City

We ordered 2 vegetable supreme but the pizza was not fully cooked. Due to this, myself and my partner got food poisoning the next day. Don’t recommend pizza hut.

Had a fantastic experience at the Argyle Street Pizza Hut, all thanks to Daryl! He was managing everything solo as the only member of staff on the ground floor, from taking orders and serving to cleaning up. He even went above and beyond by helping an elderly lady with her drink when she was having trouble walking – a truly thoughtful gesture. Daryl is an absolute credit to the company, and I genuinely believe his dedication deserves recognition from his higher management. One very happy customer from Table 2! Well done Daryl 5 stars.

Leaving those review more due to Manger James B. Amazing guy, tick all boxes from friendly welcome, covered the corporate bits with what offers were on and upgrades but with a friendly manner, listen well too. Just really impressed with this person. After 30 years in food, can spot a good operator and he is. Keep it going James others can learn a lot from you.

The place was amazing! What really put the Cherry on top was that dazzling manager Daryl! With his quick wit and amazing recommendations this surely was a dinner that will be remembered for a long time! And got this cute little box with our last pizza slice!

Though busy, the staff took very good care of me and my needs with regards to my disability. Did not at all make it feel like a chore as though we were a bother, it really was something special.

Delivery driver was very polite, can’t fault him in that respect however he was stopped at the same location just around the corner from the restaurant for over 10 mins and because of this my food was ice cold

After a long day travelling and sightseeing in and around Glasgow, my husband and I wanted pizza for dinner. We ordered the Supreme pizza with the handcrafted thin base, and it was absoloutely amazing! Prices are not to bad, and the all you can eat mix and match salad with a variety of dressings and sauces included was a win win for us. So happy we decided to visit this small, but lovely restaurant on the corner of Argyle St. and Jamaica St. Clean and nice restaurant. Staff is very friendly. Will absoloutely visit again.

Twice I've become unwell from this specific branch, I only order margarita so must be manky conditions. Go to a different location, poor hygiene

Extremely friendly staff at Pizza Hut in Glasgow. Very accommodating and always made sure to make the customer feel good. The menu is very large, clearly presented and of high quality.

Great severs but that can’t make up for a disappointing inside of restaurant and so un clean wow it’s shocking but the food makes up for it somewhat although hygiene is not there

Went for a family meal. After reading some of the reviews about the food, we were very sceptical. However, there were no issues with the food what so ever, in fact it was amazing. The guy, I’m assuming the manager, was welcoming and had good banter. There was also a girl working there, who had a disgusting attitude. I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews on this girl and understand why. She slammed the tub full of cutlery on our table and constantly looked at our table in disgust because she got one thing wrong with our order. The way she spoke to us was unacceptable and not sure how she gets away with it. Seems like the manager doesn’t care about how their employees act. Hygiene was questionable. The forks still had some food stuck onto it and the amount of flies was terrifying which also put us off our meal. No wonder that Pizza Hut is always empty… If you are wanting to go to a Pizza Hut in Glasgow, do not go to this one unless you want to be treated horribly by staff member. There are plenty of other ones scattered around the city and I can assure you that you will have a much better experience. Management should review their employees attitude and train them to treat customers appropriately, especially with how much customers pay for their meal.

Had Lucy serve us. She was sweet, fast, communicated great. The food was delicious, the area was neat and clean, it was amazing.

Very small, only tables at window and everyone walking past looking at you, small waitress was terrible, dirty table, asked if she can take the order, she wasn’t happy, nacho are damp, veg is tasteless, lasagna is just cheese, no mince, woman behind us is stinking of B,O don’t waste your time and money coming here, I have been here many times but they have never changed in 15 years I’ve been coming, but this is the first I’ve felt the need to comment

Visited here with a friend yesterday with no one there to welcome us so we sat down at the table next to the door and after about 5/10 minutes the waitress finally appeared only to be rude and slightly passive aggressive towards us just because we sat down… maybe spend less time arguing with co-workers. Firstly, not a great start. It only got worse when the drinks order came with no ice (which we asked for) and 2 very dirty glasses that were provided. Luckily the drinks are in glass bottles!!! The pizzas finally came out after a long wait. As the pizzas were sat down the waitresses finger was stuck in my friends pizza and was pushed onto the table! Accidental? Probably, but still not great. The waitress clearly had an issue with us as she seemed to be really nice to everyone else, but had an attitude with us. The food was okay, but definitely won’t be visiting this Pizza Hut again. We couldn’t wait to leave the place!

Staff were extremely friendly, was very surprised. It's a small place but the range of lunch buffet pizzas was good. Shame they don't do the garlic herb on the crust at the lunch time buffet. Still a pretty good deal. I was surprised they don't have cold pasta in the salad bar anymore as the hot pasta is pretty dreadful. Would be great if the tap water was easier to obtain as there isn't an option for it on the app.

It’s like any Pizza Hut in terms of food, ok. The deals are the same just you have to wait a bit more on busy days and periods as it run by a kind duo. They are friendly and do their best to attend to everyone. The place is clean , but what is different it is quite small. From the outside it looks huge but only the bottom part is used not the floors. So if you have a big party and busy period you might not get space for a while.

Me and my wife dined in at Pizza Hut yesterday the food service was amazing staff at the premises Xan and especially Lucy was very professional, friendly and welcoming. Lucy helped in advising best deals on menu and I was very much satisfied. Overall I had a great experience thanks to Lucy and Xan I would really recommend Pizza Hut for anyone looking to visit the place.

Absolute shocking service! Just short of 2 hours for my food to be delivered for it to be lukewarm! Absolutely disgraceful

I placed my order at 18:44 and it was delivered at 20:01, which is 1 hour and 17 minutes, although the stated delivery time was much less than that. I ordered a BBQ Chicken Melt. The description specifically says, 'A Melt loaded with mozzarella cheese and layers of chicken and red onion, served with a BBQ sauce for dipping.' However, there was ham inside it, and I don't eat ham. I was extremely angry and frustrated when I realized this upon taking a bite, feeling fooled, disrespected, and humiliated as a customer. I called the restaurant to clarify, but the agent who answered insisted that there was no ham. I threw the food in the garbage as it was. The cost for delivery was £4.19.

Chicken strips pictures online are very deceptive. They are much slimmer than pictures shown. But taste good anyways

Just fine for a casual visit. They don't have that many Pizza options and the Chicken one we had was not that tasty. Moreover, they don't take orders manually instead we should order it online. The resto was clean though.

We were seated very quickly and Lauren had a chat with us about ordering via the QR code which let us take our time and choose what we were ordering, Daryl helped us through the allergen menu as we are both vegan, food was provided quickly and tasted excellent. My partner didn't finish all of her meal but staff were kind enough to box it up for us which was very kind.

So I came in today with friends and have to say the staff made it an amazing experience we had a lovely time I love how the staff was so down to earth and friendly you could happily joke about with them and made us feel so at ease would definitely recommend going in and having a meal here i can’t remember seeing the managers name tag so I can’t thank him personally but max was a great laugh id genuinely come back just for them 10/10 for food and 10/10 atmosphere and you definitely made our day

I didn't receive my order. It's really bad

The worst culprits in the demise of this once popular branch is the dark haired male manager and his short dark haired, short female companion. On arrival, it is clear that the staff do not want anyone there. They can’t be bothered frankly. You are told the only way to order is via QR code. I don’t think that’s the company policy. Which enrages me as you are also asked to leave a tip, for what?!?! For literally zero service. We were handed two filthy glasses with food debris and when I approached the short dark haired short girl if she could please give me clean glasses, she went into the glass/ storage area and screamed. In ‘frustration’. She knew I was standing there. The manager laughed. How is this acceptable? Do they get off on insanely bad service? Because it feels like it! She handed me the glasses and I just stood there in shock and sat back down without a word. The manager is getting a kick out of this all the while and smiling inanely at me. All this standing about flirting with each other and the salad bar is at empty. On everything. We chose not to eat it for hygiene reasons. With these lazy staff and a machine that runs poorly anyway on temperate control, there is a real risk of food poisoning there. Not worth it. I doubt it had been re stocked all day. The manager handed us our pizzas and his smarmy, sneering attitude, which was based on us returning the glasses, made us feel uncomfortable and made us feel like because of the glass thing that we were not welcome. We also genuinely were worried that they had spat in the pizza as they watched us eat with a weird attitude, sneering together in our direction. On leaving the manager was downstairs chatting to another member of staff and scoffed at us passing by and very very strangely made a very elaborate ‘have a nice night GUYS’ which was clearly meant to be sarcasm. Over dirty glasses. That was the issue here all along. Showing off to his staff with conceit is what ye seems to enjoy. It’s staff like this that close businesses. Pizza Hut, you need to tighten your reigns. Just don’t go here.

My wife said everything worked well. I liked everything as well. In particular I really loved the customer support, the lady was very charming and the man greeting us was also very lovely and nice. Loved it, make our day. Also salad bar was a good bonus.

We just went yesterday, I wish I had gotten the servers names. Young blond girl and the manager had came to chat with us when there was an order mix up. The scan qrcode wasn't working but it was fine to order with the server. Our friend's kid was with us, additional needs and they couldn't have been more helpful. Refill pepsimax is my fave and lots of flavour options. The flat bread chicken delight now has peppers on it (orange and red) so just a heads up. If you can't finish your food you get a wee takeaway box. We were too full for dessert. Absolutely fantastic staff/atmosphere. We booked ahead as we had a party of 5+ I recommend this as it is always busy.

Took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive, when it did, the pizza was overdone, the chicken was cold, and couldn't eat one of the pieces as it was just grizzle. The pudding was okay, but for the price I paid was way too much for such poor quality, very, very disappointed.

I love the food and welcoming I get when myself and my little girl enter Any pizza hut but your branch on argyle Street is the most welcoming due to the staff they couldn't be more helpful and welcoming to customers and a massive perfect reweiw to the waitress Lucy she goes over and above to help customers than any waitress or waiter I have ever experienced in my 45 years . Amazing job and couldn't recommend yous highly enough due to Lucy. Keep up the amazing staff and food. Thank you. John

Not great. Somewhat disorganised. Some staff nice while others inattentive. Some pizzas unavailable. Food was not good and 2 of us who ate the same pizza felt unwell soon after. Toilet facilities poor and out of supplies. Nowhere near as good as other pizza huts.

Normally order from here weekly , sometimes the pizza is lovely others it looks half cooked ….. especially for the money you are paying .

This was the saddest Hut I've ever visited. The salad bar was half empty as it was pushed against a wall, and nothing looked very fresh, it was dried out and the potato salad was congealed despite us being there not long after opening as my neice was catching a train from Central afterwards. The buffet pizzas were very slow coming out and despite hardly anybody being in, fast to go. I've never been in such a depressing, tiny, cramped Hut in my life. They own the entire corner building but there are fewer than 10 tables. We were sat in a single seat booth staring at a wall, and had to squeeze past another diner every time we went up to the buffet. I can happily stuff myself at Pizza Hut usually, but was happy to leave this one after barely an hour. The staff were fine but ordering and paying online, for a self service buffet, it makes you wonder how they feel about basically being glorified cleaners...

We had to get plates from the kitchen and the food wasn’t amusing in the salad bar was hair in it and we ordered a a pizza without peppers and they gave the pizza with peppers the chips were un cooked don’t recommend this Pizza Hut

Over 2hrs late, no option to cancel and missing items! What I would say is I called and they were very polite that nothing they could do it’s with just eat for driver

Food was cold! And the place was freezing up stairs.

We went here as part of a small school group. The team couldn’t have done more for us and the children (teenagers so very picky!) throughly enjoyed their meals and experience. Thank you so much 😊

Would not recommend going here, complete waste of money, orderd and payed for mac and cheese, which they didn’t have, they didn’t offer in anything to replace it, pizza was cold, took 45 minutes for 2 desserts we actually had to go down to the manager as 2 deserts were taking so long, tiny tiny desserts. When I lived in the Glasgow area, I loved visiting Pizza Hut, it had a wide range of pizzas available and I liked that I could cusotmise it to my taste, one pizza was enough to share with other people and I liked that the salad bar was unlimited so I could customise my experience even more. The staff here are always nice and it's right next to Glasgow Central Station so it's easy to get to via public transportation.

The seating area was super close to the salad and drinks bar! Was absolutely fantastic! The service was also super quick! Staff were super helpful.

I feel disgusted that this company is charging nearly £30 for a large pizza which was largely flavourless. The mac and cheese almost £14 was a side portion. Staff were excellent.
