Food was too cold to eat, £18 wasted

Our server Evie was extremely friendly and helpful, even assisting us with a voucher issue we were experiencing. The food was freshly cooked and enjoyed by all and we would definitely recommend giving this Pizza Hut a visit.

We was recently staying at an hotel nearby and unfortunately the Uber delivery driver gave us the wrong order. We rang and explained and the staff were so helpful. We decided to go collect our correct order rather than a refund and Jordan was so friendly and helpful when we arrived offering us a drink whilst we waited. She definitely went above and beyond to correct the drivers mistake.

Lovely lunch out over half term with the kids. Poonam was are sever. She was very friendly and kept checking in on how we were! Thank you for a great experience xx

The food was excellent as was the service. The only down side was they didn’t have the pizza base we wanted, but we did get a free upgrade!

Came here last month for my sons birthday. Just as the food was being served, my waters broke! The staff were amazing, they stayed with my kids till my partner came back inside and they turned what could have been a stressful situation into a calm one! Our pizzas were boxed up so we could take them away and the a member of staff helped me in the toilets so I could leave without causing a scene. Kids said the pizzas were really good too 🤣

I submitted a large order as I had family round, the four pizzas ordered were quite dry and over cooked, not much cheese as all. I wouldn’t order again.

Went for lunch today with my husband and our two daughters. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was lovely. Great variety on the buffet all you can eat Pizza & salad. The manager Carrie was lovely and went above and beyond to fix something for us. Lots of families were in dining and it was a very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Was served by a waitress called Evie there was a party of 11 of us and we could not have asked for a better experience was our first time here and we will be returning as the total experience was fantastic and Evie was fantastic with the children as well well done

I attended a family gathering yesterday for a birthday party which included 5 children, and the rest adults. It’s normally a lot for restaurants to handle, with mistakes happening more than not but this meal couldn’t have gone any better! Everything came out hot, and with no waiting time. Evie was a great waitress, a lovely young women. I will definitely be back.

Very poor service, bad attitude. The staff definitely need some training on customer service, and the manager needs to be trained on how to be one. "Salad bar" were empty, with frozen salad obviously empty. With these prices as 5* restaurant definitely we expected the least any kind of service and choice on "salad bar".

I brought my daughter here after swimming and we were really happy with the food and the service and we left happy. The salad area is more varied and cleaner than Harvester nearby. The two ladies serving were really helpful and always on hand if required. Would definitely recommend to others. 10/10

Hurrrah!! Quality and value seem to be making a comeback at Pizza Hut. Pizza’s now quality checked before sending and great value at £11.99 for a medium pizza. Best pizza from them I’ve had in years.

Had to wait for a table to be cleared even though it wasn't that busy, staff seemed un trained and out of their depth. Manager seemed un aware of the the issues around her. Had to ask twice for drink classes, didn't bring out enough and two hadn't been cleaned properly. Had the buffet lunch. No great choice in pizzas and was told they had a back up of collections and it would be 10 minutes before anymore pizzas would be brought out. We'd already paid for dessert on the app but left without having it after the disappointing first course. As a family we've been visiting pizza hut for 20yrs plus and this was by far the worst experience we've had.

Evie the waitress was amazing, a one woman show, if not for her we would have left, my first job at 17 was the pavement st Pizza Hut in York, it took about 20 minutes to order on a ridiculous online ordering system in a restaurant with no/or very bad internet connection, I had to physically walk around the car park to put my order in, I’m not joking either, I would never go to Pizza Hut again, make Evie manager and go back to pen and paper.

Lovely manager there by the name of Carrie I believe (apologies if that’s incorrectly spelt) made sure my grandma who had issues walking was properly accommodated for. We came in with 10 people without booking on a busy day and were told that it would be 10 mins before we got a table which is super reasonable. But the manager and her friendly staff gave us a table early and even reorganised their bookings to ensure my grandma was catered for. Couldn’t ask for better service 🙌

Lovely food, the buffet food was plentiful and continuously replenished. The lasagne was delicious, very tasty and served piping hot. Poonam our server was really friendly and attentive. Overall very pleased and will certainly return.

I’ve not been to a Pizza Hut for years. We went with my family for the last 45 mins of the buffet and had a less than average experience. Some of the pizzas had clearly been there a while and as it was the back end of the service, I suspect they didn’t want to put new ones out. Similarly, the selection was pretty limited. The person serving us was very friendly, but several staff were sat around a table chatting and playing on their phones. Felt a bit like a youth club rather than a restaurant! By the time you add drinks and ice cream it becomes pretty expensive too. I think it’s safe to say we won’t be racing back!

Had a lovely meal and service by Tom was second to none. Will definitely return

Went in for pizza hut buffet and the staff were great, asked us if there was a pizza we wanted on the buffet and we're very helpful. Food was great as ever!

Came for the buffet with my son who absolutely loves everything food wise at pizza hut! All the pizza was always stocked up and fresh , resturaunt was warm, clean & welcoming. Most of all the service was amazing! As we come most months & it now is only card/QR codes it seems service isn't usually fully there anymore as its all online service (barring them bringing the utensils to the tables). But GRACE was always consistent, asking how the food is , if we are okay & she was always present and doing something & going the extra mile! Her and the lady cook should be looked after within this business as they really did an amazing service. Highly recommend. Dined in on 13-12-2024.

great lunch time buffet. got a table straight away as wasn't busy and that was at 12.30 lunch time Easy to order on the qr code. plenty of pizza available always some available and getting made fresh and I'm a big eater so 20+ slices later i was full up. still room for ice cream tho haha staff great too even asked if everything was ok as well she did deffo go again for a lunch time buffet. parking is ok too just have too find a space as busy with the McDonald's lot as thet share the same car park toilets clean as well 👍

Ive been here two times after not visiting for months, both times I have been served by a very polite professional young woman, date: Thursday 7th , I asked for the Servers name in which she replied Morgan! The service was excellent the best ive ever had in this restaurant! Will definitely be back and hopefully see the friendly respectful woman! P.s Love the free Salad bar and the food was delicious hats off to the chef!

In Leeds for a conference. Staying at the travelodge and just wanted some hot food. Staff were pleasant and polite but no real service. Hate the QR code ordering for yourself. Zero atmosphere. Had the lasagne - edible but really poor quality and terrible value for money. Mostly cheese sauce, two long and very thin slices of pasta and no more than a tablespoon of bolognaise filling. Absolute rubbish. As said - it was edible, I ate it - I was hungry and I don’t believe in wasting food but …. I won’t be back.

Don't know what Roquito peppers are and are serving red chillis with all of the pizzas that call for them, cost a huge amount more to eat in and had to call someone over to clear the pizzas and get desserts - toddler had finished his ice cream and we chased ours to find still not even in to cook.

Not been Pizza Hut in a long time and will likely never go again. Positives. 1. All you can eat salad, while you wait 30 minutes for bang average pizza at best. Negatives. 1. Card only. 2. Almost zero staff interaction. Led to a table and told to order using the QR code. 3. After ordering you own food and ignoring your family for 10 minutes to do so, it then asks you if you would like to tip. (I haven’t even eaten anything yet, and hardly spoken to anyone. Maybe I’ll tip myself ) 4. Food took over 30 minutes to arrive. 5. Paid in my opinion an extortionate amount with a 25% discount code for what can only be described as average pizza. (See tab/photo) 6. Grotesquely overweight traveller children playing with golf balls in the car park. Luckily I walked from the local hotel. Edit 7. My child was violently sick through the night and the following morning forcing us to cancel a trip to Diggerland. Whether this was related to the food or cleanliness of the place I do not know.

Had an amazing experience here recently when we came for a birthday meal for my daughter’s friend. The children all had a lovely pizza, salad plus drink and ice cream, this is such a great deal! Took my granddaughter for lunch. The waitress Poonam went above and beyond. Very friendly sorted our allergens. Very attentive.

We had a lovely daytime visit here. A lady called Poonam looked after us, she was friendly and accommodating. We have 22 month old twins and it was nice that Poonam found us a suitable table. It was also nice that the high chairs were clean and in working order. The food and service was also great, and I would definitely visit again.

You know that feeling you get when you've been low, nothing seems to be able to lift your mood, and you feel as if you will be in this hole of despair forever. Then the clouds part, a ray of sunlight hits your face, you see the beauty of the world, and in that moment you think, "You know what? Maybe everything will be okay after all." That's what it feels like walking into Colton Mill Pizza Hut. They are the sun in my sad, dreary life. We went for the lunchtime buffet and were treated to a smorgasbord of delicious circular heaven in the form of unlimited pizza. One of our party has allergies, their own body working against them— is there a crueler fate? Yet, even this was not a problem for the fine people employed at this fine establishment. The manager, Kath, I believe was the name, answered all our queries and questions. As far as purveyors of food and drink go, there is no place within the immediate area I would attend over the Hut that provides us with the most delectable pizza. Pizza Hut Colton Mill, I salute you!

We had a booking for a load of kids for a birthday tea and were served by Cath. She sat us in a corner on a raised bit and let us put a few banners up which made it feel a bit special. They were really kid friendly and Cath was really chatty with them and kept coming back to offer the grown ups drinks. It was great, we'd definitely do it again.

Called at Pizza Hut at 6.30 , only 2 tables taken with people dining in. Our order was taken promptly and our drinks and salad bowls delivered to our table within minutes. Waited almost half an hour for our Pizza to be served and when it arrived it was cold. I had already eaten my small bowl of salad and drank my tea waiting for the pizza. The take out delivery seemed to be the focus and priority. I attempted to eat a slice of pizza but left it as too cold. We asked for a box to take it home. Should have not paid the £33.00 ( approx) was too disappointed to make a complaint. Took pizza home and heated in the oven. Priority appears to be given to those people ordering in. I usually book a table for 10 people at Christmas but I may not bother this year. Usually the food and service is good.

Our server Grace all though been alone and very busy was efficient,very welcoming and did her best to make sure we had vegetarian choices on the buffet ,as it was the veggie choice was very poor margarita and garlic bread but through no fault of the staff. ,the salad bar was lovely and all the staff were lovely Grace couldn't do enough

Server was Poonam, we’ve actually had her before as well and both times she’s been lovely. Very polite, helpful and approachable if needing something. She even asked us if there’s a specific pizza we’d like in the buffet which partner and I weren’t expecting at all, then said she’d try her best and even came back to confirm it’s there then ask if we enjoyed it. Great experience

I have not eaten in a pizza hut in years, so I was a bit weary of what to expect. This looks like a fairly new branch. There was some confusion over the orders for our table of six. Ella dealt with this swiftly and in good humour. The pizza was fresh and tasty and the place had a very relaxed vibe. Thank You.

Is what it is...pizza hut will never be gourmet, artisinal pizza but if you are after a family friendly meal out with great service...this branch is winning. Lovely staff who were very accomodating

Thursday nights are good to go it seems. Not many there and the service was great and the food was hot and super tasty. Salad was very bland and underwhelming though, but who goes to pizza hut for a salad?

We had a lovely meal to celebrate our granddaughters 7th birthday. Molly M was our server and she was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and she really made our evening great. She recommended the vegan cheesecake when we were a little anxious about trying it, and she was right it was delicious. Molly M is an asset to pizza hut!
