Pizza Go Go Purley in Croydon

I popped in here on my travels,really quick service. Nice pizza, and long lost service with a smile..

We order from this place 3 times now and each time it's different experience, the prices are good and the portion are big and very filling, they are very polite and great service, definitely recommend

Remarkably tasty pizza base, generous toppings, and very reasonably priced. First time here, but will definitely come again.

Lovely food. Never wait too long & great prices.

Got a take away, came early and tasted fine. Nothing to shout out about, but it done the trick. The chicken strips were very nice.

I would say this is one of the better pizza places around the area and we prefer the pizza to the more commercial well places like Dominos and Pizza hut. The toppings are generous, the pricing is on point and the dough is cooked fresh. Areas of improvement - staff have never been rude to me but I feel they could have better communication and customer skills.

If I could give no stars I would but had to give one in order to leave a review, I ordered a pizza for 3 children and had called the shop previously to advise them to send me a text to pay as I couldn't find my bank card, unfortunately the shop forgot to send the text so I had to call back for them to send the text for payment. The driver was highly inpatient and continually kicked banged and rang my doorbell demanding the payment shouting to give back the pizza. With both myself and him being on the phone to the shop, he continued to rant and rave in my hallway causing commotion intimidating me saying he will break my door. as he could see I was the only one in the house with the children, as I was trying make the payment. In the end it was more trouble than the £16 pizza was worth. I have been a regular customer with his branch for over 5 years. But this will be the last time I order with them if they hire inpatient disrespectful drivers that intimidate their female customers.

I went here yesterday around 11pm to make an order and I said “hi how’s are you” he replied “sorry I don’t speak English” and moments later he was taking an order on the phone speaking fluent English!! Personally I didn’t like that, because I don’t know if he was ignoring? Either way this shop deserves better staff specifically when your in shop floor.

I’m still eating and drooling while writing this review…..10/10 flavour and the crust!!

Usually no problems we ordered Cheese pizza today and it was dry with thin layer of cheese which had gone hard. When I tried to explain the guy told me that’s not possible he always makes good pizzas. Pretty pathetic as I will not be ordering from here again.

The dough was not fresh, I could tell from eating the pizza, It would be nice if customer service could get better.

Increase in price on a regular basis but also a slow decline in quality. Pizzas are still good, but can be better.

Do not order from here. The food I received tasted gone off and all it was was a pepperoni pizza, not sure how they could mess it up. Contacted the store for a refund and they told me to contact the head office, The head office told me to contact the store for a refund and it was a big circle. They then offered me a coupon to order from pizzaGoGo again but if I've already had a bad experience, why would I want to order again? The food was awful, expensive and had taken a long time to be delivered, would not recommend ever again!

Picked up a nice hot veg pizza here, fresh hot and delicious so i don't know what the other bad reviews are all about.

I call them to place my order over the phn and guy was not interested in lisning intead he told me that he do not need my money for his business . Such a shame poor owner , please change ypu staff or your business will be gone in few days.

Ordered for pick up, they told me 15mins I came after 25 mins and they only started making my order when I came. They didn’t even apologise or bother with the delay. Terrible service

Most horrible customer experience from a pizza place. I ordered 2 large pizzas and two sides for 26 pounds. The pizzas came in as both medium and only one side instead of 2. I called them that the size was wrong and that we ordered for large. The manager was very rude and was raising his voice on the phone and had attitude. He refused to help out on the situation. Pizza also came dry don’t buy from this place there’s much better places.

Absolutely poor service. We ordered 3 pizzas to to open our fast and both the quality and the toppings were extremely bad. They hadn’t even topped the pizza properly and when we complained they said there were nothing they could do. I’ve been going to Pizza Gogo in Croydon ans the difference in service between them and Pizza GoGo Purley is like the heavens and earth. Never again will I buy pizza from here again.

Rung for an order, never had such rude customer service

Incredibly rude delivery drivers. Would not order again. I was told after waiting over an hour that the driver attempted to deliver by calling twice, ringing the bell and knocking on the window. He was incredibly hostile and swore at me for not giving him a tip because we’d waited much longer than advertised when he returned. Pizza was good and store staff were helpful but I’d never order again. Use a chain, planet pizza or pizza 2 night. Much better service.

Very good service! Had a take away for a large pizza chicken tandoori. Nice taste and best when had fresh hot!

The pizza was ok. But feel the staff could have been a bit more up front with the price options. I spent around £24.90 which is still better price than domino's. But they didn't say that if I spent another 10 pence I would get the £10 off offer which was displayed all over the box when they handed me my pizzas. made me feel like I was ripped off abit.

Really good value if you collect. Hawaiian not so good but the flaming torch is amazing

Good prices here and the food is nice, one star knocked off because I ordered onion rings once and they were soggy when they arrived.

Ordered delivery and for 20 quid I've never had a worse pizza experience. Threw away more than 2 !of us cared to eat. Honestly say ive had better frozen pizza's. All in all , would have to say was worth a fiver at best, wasn't very friendly and quick to get off the phone as if they didn't want me to buy. Garl cheesy pizza bread comes looking like a actual pizza rather then garlic bread and both pizza and cheese garlic bread was likeen eating rubber. SMH was awful. Would never go again. It's as if they bought there items as frozen stored food rather then freshly made. Wouldn't surprise me. Paid 20 pound for what was probably worth 3 pound . Eurgh . That bad people. 1 star

This Place does some fine pizza! However staff can be bit aggressive sometimes if a customer complains! They could be a little more helpful! However you still get a good pizza!

Friday and Saturday, they deliver until 04:00 am !!! What more do you want ??? 😂

Food is ok, but customer service very selective

So I got my first wings witch are clearly burnt but the bloke recons they were fine any way sent me a new batch and I find spit on my wings my kids could of eaten that and the guy who gave a good review is the guy that came with the food so don’t trust it when they rate them selfs shows no one else with give them 5 starts I recommend ordering from Croydon bit longer but much better food and service

Got food poisoning the next day try to avoid

Called to order a half and half. And said price for delivery and when i asked how much for collection he said they dont do half and half collection , which is prob a lie as delivery price is much higher they dnt want me to collect by saying they dont do half and half on collection, man sounded very rude at the end. No customer service at all . I always order from there and normaly get a nice person at cashier, but this one on the phone today sounded so rude and no customer service at all.

Delish but the base was slightly burnt

The service is usually okay, but this time they got the wrong size of the pizza, dips are missing and the pizza itself is way too dry, even if I had asked for extra tomato base and extra cheese. I just to try the store to bring to their attention what had happened but they're not picking up. Next time, I'll have to go elsewhere for a pizza.

Nice pizzas I prefer the pizzas here than any other, they are halal, I normally collect but today I had delivery, they gave me a set time but came before it which was good as I was really hungry.

Open till 4 am, it is a paradise for the late night revellers

It's not the best out there, but..8 out of 10 times they've made a decent pizza which my family and I enjoyed... What I get is a 'Meaty Meaty' Pizza with cheese & pepperoni stuffed crust. Comes to £11, which I feel is a bit on the high side. 4 stars our of 5.

1 star is to high the last 3 orders have been wrong if you fancy pizza suprise this is the store for you. Tonight the wrong size pizza the last order small Margareta when cheesy garlic bread was ordered. I will not be going back

Excellent service & superb pizza

STAY AWAY... don't waste your money. We have had on and off good and bad pizzas but tonight was the worst.. So as customers we called and asked for a replacement as we were not happy with ours the base was like stale cardboard and not nice at all. This was fully explained of what it felt like, tasted like and was hoping for a no problem we will rectify this...They refused and was rude and argued with us without even seeing the pizza. In the past pizzas have been cold and at times not brilliant, but this was the first time we called in and was met with an arguing idiot with no customer service skills at all. Refused to listen and exept what we have said.. All we wanted was a replacement. You pizza go go have lost our custom. We have emiled the company for a refund.. we will never return NO STARS...👎

This place is the bollocks. Not quite up there with papa johns but nonetheless it's very reasonably priced.

Disgusting place I would even give it one star hair was all over the food and they refused to give a refund or the same size pizza... they then came and saw the hair An throw it on the floor saying no one in the shop has long hair. Absolutely appalling

Ordered a medium double pepperoni and received a very small just about personal margarita. Tried calling the restaurant with no answer but they were still accepting online orders. Completely ripped off and disappointed as their pizzas are really nice

Very disappointed with the pizza. Asked for a garlic pizza with olives, very simple, but just got a whole load of mayonnaise under the cheese. When I called to ask for a refund because I couldnt eat pizza with a load of mayonnaise on it, the staff was very rude on the phone. Not buying from here again and will tell all my friends and social media followers not to buy from here either. Terrible pizza and terrible customer service.

I ordered late ,only had a certain amount however the guy on the phone was able to find a good deal and was really polite and treated me with respect his name was ALEX . ask for him next time people .really nice person.

Worst pizza place to order from! delivery is always extremely slow and never on time. Got my order wrong, and wouldn`t replace one of the items Id actually paid for! asked me to come in the store to get it myself as all his drivers were busy, when a previous employee said the item was on its way. Nothing came 2 hours later, I made a phone call and was rudely told that i was wasting the colleagues time called Ifran and had the phone put down on me, absolutely disappointed with the service! never ordering here again!
