Our take away was fantastic. Delivered within time frame All food was correct, fresh and hot. Think I've found my new place to order from regularly.

Great chinese restaurant best in South Norwood. Everything is lovely and the staff are thoughtful and friendly. I would recommend anybody in the area the try this amazing family run restaurant you won't be disappointed.

Great food for fast food and reasonable prices.

Item missing from delivery not a big issue, more annoying than anything. No apology, but offer of a credit note as they are busy, decided a refund via the app. Chow Mein was just greasy and no flavour, which has occured more recently. Always order from here, but lately seems a little hit and miss .

The absolute worst egg fried rice I have ever had. Weird plastic taste to it and didnt seem very fresh. The rest of my order was reasonable however overall quality was poor

They must of changed owners or chef, I ordered Singapore noodles no flavour and other items full of salt. We have used this shop for the last nine years always enjoyed the food till now.. never again we are so disappointed

This is the worst Chinese shop I have eaten from. I also got food poisoning as the prawns was raw no pride taken with there food at all

Bought BBQ pork and rice and other stuff from here, but the BBQ pork was absolutely burned to a crisp I couldn't eat it so tuff and nasty! Definitely avoid.

This place is extremely disgusting. I would never order from this place again. Chicken was dry nasty and cold. The service was also really bad as well.

I ordered Kung Po Chicken through Uber Eats, but received Kung Po Prawns instead. Because the two dishes look almost identical, I didn't realise until I'd served everything up I called the restaurant and was told I "should have checked the bag to make sure my order was correct" and "everybody makes mistakes". They were fine with refunding the kung po chicken, but it ruined two other dishes (rice and chow mein), and I guess I'm all out of luck... This turned into a very expensive bottle of Coke! (£19)

Placed an order for delivery late yesterday evening. The food arrived late and cold. Was willing to overlook the hour wait and cold food because it could be reheated. The honey spare ribs were not edible. The ribs were tough and overcooked.Tried to contact them again but line was busy. Contacted them this evening again because they don't open until 4. Spoke to manageress named Lin who stated that the food should have been returned last night. Still have the food and Lin advised me to return it to the shop even though the food was originally delivered. I don't reside near the shop. We have been going there for years but I won't waste our money there again. Quick to take money but slow to rectify their mistakes.

Think changed hands. Rice stodgy, chips £3.10 for half the portion size and pork balls so greasy unfortunately inedible. Used for years so very disappointed

Food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken balls were mushy on the inside and not cooked, and the chicken was tough, the rice and chow mein has no flavour whatsoever, the sweet and sour sauce was like drinking water. After complaining to the “manager” I was told the chicken balls are made like this and they cannot give a refund, despite the chicken balls not being cooked. They could only offer a replacement. I explained that why would I want more food if the food tasted so nasty? I couldn’t even give it to my daughter. Poor customer service, only thinking of the money. I will be taking this further, since “there was nothing more they could do.” Lucky I couldn’t give 0 stars…go to ‘The village’ on green lane Thornton Heath, their food is 100x better, but thought we would try this one today, big mistake.

Brilliant! Absolutely delicious food and a dim sum menu. New Dragon provide more scope and variety to the usual Chinese take aways in the area.

We used to order from New Dragon until we went to a take away on Downham. It was then that we realised would fresh Chinese take out tasted like. We orderd salt and pepper chicken wings. They weren't wings. They were dry bits of batter. NOT wings. It was clear that they were about a day old and not fresh. We also ordered crispy chilli beef. The dish came with a watery sauce so the beef was not crispy. It was just horrible. The rest of the meal was OK but the meal was expensive and a let down.

Really disappointing. Cold food. Got greasy battered garlic chicken instead of the salt and pepper chicken that I ordered. The seafood soup is just extremely salty water with a few pieces of meat. The banana fritters were so dry and came without any syrup! Definitely won't be a returning customer and definitely do not recommend.

Really disappointed. Ordered for Singapore rice noodles, all l got was noodles with about five strips of pork. The prawn crackers tasted as if it had been fried in oil that had been used for something else. Was let down first time l orders thought I'd try again but still disappointed. Won't be ordering g again from this place.😠

Write nice Chinese restaurant. Seemed clean whenever I went there and the service was exemplary. The food was good and the menu is quite rich with hardly anything missing from the usual take away Chinese fare. During peak periods, it might be a bit difficult finding parking, though they do offer take away service which I haven't used because it's asking my walk home from the very close by bus stop beside Norwood Junction train station.

I buy chcken and mushroom with chicken and rice or mushroom rice every other weekend and it never lets me down. If i lived closer it would be takeaway every weekend. Keep up the good work.

Phoned in an order and was pleased by the fast response (on a Friday evening). Assured of no-nuts in the order by the staff. Got delivery in about 20 minutes. Very good quality, great Mushroom Chow Mein and also the Chicken Balls with Sweet & Sour sauce were good. Very recommended.

I love this place. Im a local and i visit weekly. The staff are always friendly and the food is always lovely and freshly cooked full of flavor. best in southnorwood!!!!!

Good place, good food. I like this place called Wonderful (same street) better, it has a better menu I believe, but New Dragon is still good.

Food okay, delivery time is a joke

Been ordering from there for over a year and I'm surprised to see such bad reviews because I always have good customer service and I enjoy the food.

Food is absolutley terrible if I could give them no stars I would tbh I ordered beef which I am sure was not beef amd possibly could've been human meat as this is what I have been seeing on the news, they had fake rice which I did the test on and it bounced and spring rolls were disgusting tasted like they had been there for more than 2 days and when I called to make a complaint I was told that they cannot give me a refund or send me something else as they think there food is 'nice' abosultley disgusting.

Food was really bad!!!! King prawn in breadcrumbs was dry and over cooked Rice was hard and tasteless.. sure it was old rice reheated in the microwave Overall the worst Chinese I've ever tasted and I don't know how they get away with it. Had to throw most of it away. I don't believe that they actually taste or care what is coming out! waste of £30... I'm actually shocked how people can give it anything more than a 1star Sorry but do not order...trust stay away

If I could give less of a star I would. Last order took 50 extra minutes to be delivered and the grilled CHICKEN dumplings were RAW through and through. Compensation was 10%. ANY OTHER CHINESE RESTURANT WOULD BE BETTER.
