This Pizza Express is amazing and unlike any other apart from the menu. Reminded me of an authentic Italian restaurant. The food and service were fantastic. Will definitely be back

We were late for our booking. Even so, we were immediately welcomed and shown to our table. We ordered some prosecco which came along with our nibbles very quickly in an ice bucket was was lovely and cold. The food was excellent, well up to Pizza Expresse's high standard.

With a name like Pizza Express, I had very low expectations. Our son can be a bit picky so we knew he could get a cheese pizza. My wife and I wanted to order one of their specialty pizzas without the sausage and our waiter talked us out of it as he said it would be very bland without it, and recommended us a different pizza. The Spicy Giuseppe is delicious and a very good call by our waiter! A very pleasant surprise with delicious pizza and great service.

Great food in a lovely busy location. Not been to pizza express for a long time but really enjoyed especially with UNiDAYS discount. Very nice staff.

Popped into this Pizza Express before going to the Palladium for a show. Our waitress was lovely. The food took about half an hour to arrive, which was a bit stressful. I ordered a pasta dish ‘Formaggi & Pancetta’ for £15.95. When it arrived, it looked like a child’s portion, one piece of penne deep. It was supposed to have a bechemel sauce, but in reality it was a very small portion of pasta, with cheese melted on top. No sign of any sauce. They did give me a refund, but there was no time to order anything else. I would definitely not go back again. If you are an adult and you’re hungry, I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Great family and friends meal (6 people) after a long day at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. All round friendly team of people and our Waiter/Host Silva was a credit to this branch - charasmatic, attententive and accommodating - he added to the the atmoshphere of our already fun day. Food was good as ever for Pizza Express.

We had a quick lunch/dinner in this place while shopping and the food was delicious. Service was great. The manager Amelia was lovely and very helpful. We definitely recommend it. We had lasagne and pasta with chicken and pesto. Delicious.

Last night we visited this branch around 9:45pm. It was not busy. We sat outside as we saw menus on the tables and customers eating at one of their tables. We waited for 15 minutes ish. Two waiters came outside and ignored us. Then, I decided to go inside. We were told they were not serving outside, which seemed a bit strange to me, and we were offered a table inside. We ordered 3 Peronis and the waiter brought the large ones. I am a regular and I have also worked many years at Pizza Express, and I know either you offer your customers a choice or you bring the small ones. I asked the waiter to take one of the Peronis back because we did not need to drink so much. He argued that I did not order small ones. Then we ordered some food to start with. I was starving as I had finished work at 8pm; my pizza took 45 minutes to arrive. It was a Legera American Hot, which usually you serve with hot green peppers. It came with jalapeño, which are very strong for me at the moment as I am taking some medicines and I became sensitive to very hot food. I pointed this mistake to the waiter, who took the pizza back and put just some green peppers on top. I again had to ask him to please make a new one as I ordered. It took another 15 minutes to get the pizza I ordered. I was so disappointed. We had seen some customers been served before us, even though they came to the restaurant after us. He even did the checkback to other customers but never to us. I talked to the manager who did not seem to care much, and just said the she will investigate it. She could have investigate it at that moment... Of course, we did not order anything else after this incident and we left the restaurant with a feeling of frustration and disappointment after your low and appalling service.

I went there for a nice dinner and enjoyed it the wait time was very long but once the food came out it was very nice I ordered a Margarita Pizza and Dough Balls and they were very enjoyable not the warmest but not cold the Staff were kind and I would come here again

This was the second Pizza Express that we ate at as a bus tour was ending. This is off James Street which is off Oxford Street for any who are interested. Lots of restaurants on James Street. We found the pizza good and the beer cold. Could not ask for more. This is near the (Thistle) Amba Hotel Marble Arch for those interested.

Visited pizza express for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The 'La Cubana' pizza was delicious and my cheese cake dessert spectacular. Amelia the manager was the perfect host. Attentive, welcoming and charismatic. I can't fault this branch and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent lunch with my friends today. The food was great as always, very fresh and great quality ingredients! The service from Bilal was excellent as usual- we asked for the large windows to be opened for fresh air and they helpfully accommodated. Professional and friendly service, helpful as always. Great atmosphere for lunch/ any meal.

I am italian and this is shi*. I ordered a carbonara and they made it with “panna” instead of using “tuorlo d’uovo”. It’s good and the price was okay and also the location but please don’t call this italian.

The place is really nice and in a great location. We sat in the outside area which is nice as you don’t get cold because of the heated lamps. I tried the carbonara and, as an Italian, I can confirm that it’s extremely far from the Italian version and the dish should change name as a consequence. A part from that, great experience!

Miserable experience, overpriced rip off awful food, dreadful service at Pizza Express, Christopher's Place, London W1. Casually dressed manager blocking doorway said no space inside, although mid afternoon, so I had to sit outside. I ordered Zuccini Linguini. Eventually a tall denim clad man unceremoniously put the £15.45 bowl of pasta on the bare table and instantly went inside. No offer to supply condiments, etc. There were none on the outside tables. No well wishes to enjoy. Food was tasteless, as though a school child had drowned a bowl of linguini in a swamp of prepared passata. The very few bits of zucchini were not, as advertised, char grilled. A few capers from a jar lurked together at the bottom of the bowl. There was zero seasoning. It was dreadful. After a while a uniformed waiter came to ask me how the meal was. I said it wasn't good. He looked sad and said he was sorry. He disappeared. Nothing happened. Finally, after struggling with the tasteless morass in the bowl, I got up to go to the entrance, blockaded by manager and denim clad male, and asked for some black pepper. This appeared and was ground onto the tasteless swamp in the bowl. With mint tea this came to £18.95! What a waste. I could have cooked this at home a million times better at a cost of pennies. Poor management. Pizza Express head office should check this place out themselves. A dismal rip off. Avoid.

Easter Sunday was busy but not too busy therefore the staff were keen to serve. The food I had bruschetta and my friend mozzarella and tomato salad. Both very good. Then for a Sloppy Guisseppe and for me a Four Seasons. Delicious. To drink Sicillian Lemonade. Reasonable price, good service and not too noisy. All in all a good time was had by both of us. Hope you have a good visit when you do.

20mins before receiving our drinks order another 10 before we actually got them. Tiny restaurant packed with tables very uncomfortable cramped. They don't care that the service is bad as it's usually just passing trade so no one returns for the second time! The food was good, other than my spagbol Luke warm and tasteless. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Would never go there again.

Travelled from Reading to attend a show in the west end, visited this restaurant beforehand. As a chain I don't expect pizza express' service to be particular personal but every waitress and waiter in this restaurant was awful. They were rude, lazy and appeared untrained in their job. As a waitress in a restaurant myself, I understand it can be stressful at times, but the restaurant was not busy and the staff seemed more engaged in conversation amongst each other than those they were serving. I also know to appear enthusiastic and be aware that the customer's experience is the most important thing for a food restaurant chain. We felt that all the table service staff had no intention of giving the customers a pleasant experience at the restaurant, and the only time they cracked a smile was as they saw us leaving. From the moment we walked in, they would keep referring us to different people in their team instead of just attending to us themselves, for jobs as simple as taking a drink or food order, or showing us to our table. As well as this, the peroni glass I was given was absolutely filthy - looked unwashed! Will make a conscious effort to never visit this branch again.

Visited this branch for the first time, and the manager was really rude and didn’t let us take the strollers in although the place was empty at around 1030 pm.

Needed a quick lunch while shopping on Oxford Street, so we have this a try. We were taken to the lower level for our table and the place itself was a bit beat up and could use some upgrading. The staff was courteous and prompt to take out orders. It’s basically pizza, salads and a couple of pasta dishes. The food is ok, not the best or the worst I’ve had. Ok for a lunch stop, but not a dinner.

Went here while shopping on Sunday and even though the place was very busy the atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. Managed to enjoy a bit of autumn warmth on the terrace and our food was excellent, as good as I've tasted at a pizza express. Small gripe was that the place looked a little bit tired, but that's no fault of the team who were very friendly throughout and the place was very clean. Will be back next time we are in town looking for a quick bite between hitting the Oxford Street shops.

I have been to a few Pizza Express in the past and didn't expected to receive a great food. But I went there with my niece to get a cheap bite. The dough was surprisingly tasty but tit could be more topping. ^^ We were seated downstairs. The air was very stuffy and we asked if they could switch the Air-Con on. The waiter said he will ask the manager. He may have done it, but the Air-con was never switched on. We had Watermelon Chill for drinks, which was very disappointing. They use strawberry to make it look like watermelon and cucumber to optimise the taste. For for over £3 for this cheat is a shame. The service was good ... the guy was in a good mood.

Went here tonight with my wife for a quick after work bite. Nice location just a little bit off the beaten track behind Selfridges with a good outside seating area - great now Spring is here. Usual Pizza express quality and good friendly service.

Vibrant location just off Oxford St, almost behind Selfridges. Narrow alley opens out to a square filled with bars and restaurants. Pizza Exprees like others has outside seating. Food was well prepared, promptly served and hot. Waiter friendly and efficient. Will certainly return.

Nipped up St Christopher's place to a very busy Pizza Express but seated quickly and served courteously however the waiter didn't listen to the base I wanted and I got a thin one however it tasted delicious! Paid by the app which links absurdly with PayPal and therefore uses two apps!!

We came here for dinner before going to an event. The food was nice. However the service was dreadful, very slow, and all came at different times when it did arrive. And it took forever to get the bill when we asked for it.

By 6:10 pm, there was a line out the door at the Pizza Express on Euston Rd (across from Pullman Hotel). I had petite noodles with bolognese sauce that tasted homemade. Delicious. My grandchildren's pizzas were excellent also.

Went to this place for lunch with a group of friends . Everything was perfect and no complains whatsoever. Staff were very friendly and very cooperative . Starters were excellent snd similarly the pizzaz.

Vamos a la Pizza Express siempre en Oxford St. , y normalmente tienen una gran comida. Sin embargo, esta vez, tenía pizza Romano de s, supuestamente más delgada y crispier, pero era pasada! Lo quitaron y re climatizada, pero todo lo que hicimos fue hacer la resecan de albahaca! La pizza del esposo era estupenda, así como su bruschetta, pero la mía fue muy decepcionante. No tenía límite de tiempo, así que no pudimos hacer mucho al respecto, por desgracia. Espero que esto era sólo un punto, y será mejor la próxima visita.

Walked in asked for a table for 3 place was half empty we were put down stairs by the office in the corner by the toilets. On going down stairs the smell from the sewers was rank , asked the waitress if we could move she said no unless we went upstairs and waited but up stairs was booked allegedly. So we sat down stairs , after 10 minutes the waitress came back asked for a drinks order eventually after waiting 10 more minutes the drinks arrived fom the curt and surley waitress. She then took our order , so went to the bathroom, BLIMEY what a mess it stunk so bad it would make a camel cough there was excrement and urine on the floor no leaking sinks to blame and you could smell it outside in the eating area so having decided to leave told the manager about the situation all he said he would sort it yeah right , how can you serve food in that place with the smell and the situation from the toilets down stairs food was averidge and slow and Luke warm , not the usual P E experience

Restaurant is a great location takes you away from the noise & bustle of Oxford street. It has outside seating which was perfect for lunch, heaters on too. Menu had good choice and food was served quickly and was good. Staff were friendly and helpful

just being located in St Christopher's Place is excellent. they've got a great variety of pizza toppings and best of all is that they've been around since 1969 which is just amazing.

Ate here outside on a lovely sunny afternoon. The setting is great with St Christophers square buzzing with people. I have been to alot of pizza express's and find the food can vary alot, this place had hot fresh food (prob due to the fact it was very busy) served by happy waiters that couldn't do enough for you. this can sometimes be a rarety in London, even bringing out a brownie with a candle in for my companions birthday and singing happy birthday! couldn't fault it!

We went for lunch and were disappointed. I normally like Pizza Express but here the pizzas were undercooked and flabby. Service was also poor. It was ok until we wanted the bill but then we were ignored and kept waiting for ages. Go somewhere else!

Sugerencia: conseguir un experto supervisará quién sabe cuando una pizza es cocinado y caliente! Nunca volver a pizza express.

Great little restaurant tucked away just off Oxford street close to Selfridges in St Christophers Place. Staff friendly and attentive but not over bearing. Lovely decor and outside seating available in pedestrianized square. Have been here a few times and never disappoints.

Its a must to go everytime i visit London. Superb Location. Nice ppl and service is superb. Those pizzas you can never go wrong.

Muy ricas pizzas , sabrosas , la atencion rapida y muy buena

Fui allí para el almuerzo con un comprar uno conseguir un código voucher gratuito. Normalmente cuando vas a estos lugares y presente su código primero, encontrar el servicio y la comida muy pobre.

Tuvimos una gran comida aquí en torno a las 4 de la tarde. Ni siquiera sabíamos St Christopher's Place existió hasta recomendado ir allí por una señora en Selfridges. Está escondido en la parte de atrás de la calle Oxford y es una plaza de restaurantes diferentes. a pesar de estar sentados una bastante bruscas camarera y servido por un camarero gruñón, tuvimos una muy buena comida. Ambos tuvimos las pizzas y la masa Leggera era tan finas casi se podía ver a través de ella. Eran muy amables. Para terminar, tuve el cheesecake modo celular como una colmena con base y helados salados caramelo. Este tiene que ser uno de mis postres favoritos, mmm. Como nos habían firmado hasta el sitio web de pizza express, teníamos un vale de cumpleaños para una botella de Pinot Grigio,) rubor o Proseco, sin duda merece la pena. Needing a quick meal before a concert at Wigmore Hall (as others have mentioned), we thought that we would try this nearby PE - our usual standby. Although it was busy, they welcomed us and quickly showed us to a table. The drinks came quickly, my wife's dairy intolerance was noted and the order for food agreed. We got our shared starter of the standard, but good, PE olives promptly and our mains arrived just as the olives came to an end. My wife enjoyed her Pollo Arrabbiata, even though it was a bit hotter than she would normally prefer, and I my Pizza Fiorentina (although the egg was just a bit overcooked). We thought that we might have time for a sweet but, with the concert edging ever closer and the staff working flat out, we decided to play safe and get the bill (which was fortunately sorted very promptly).

kids friendly place as they offer high chairs and pencils to draw. We were sitted to the basement and it was really noisy. The service and the food was just ok. Nothing special to remember or recommend.

Barato y alegre, pero estaba lleno y tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo. Elegir aquí tenía pequeños niños con nosotros. El risotto de pollo se suponía que iba a venir con nueces de pino pero el chef decidió poner un montón de cacahuetes y nueces de marañón (merey, en su lugar sin mencionar a la camarera mis hijas - nunca de ellos particularmente lo disfrutamos. Al menos si se les había dicho que se les había acabado de nueces de pino, que podrían haber hecho una elección para tener algo más. Cuando llegamos abajo, nos dicen que no debería haber sido enviado allí y tuvimos que volver arriba otra vez. Después de esperar en el frío en la puerta, nos preguntó que ir abajo otra vez!!! Pedimos nuestras bebidas y comida, y luego nos dijeron que no tenían bases sin gluten. La camarera era no pidió disculpas. Como llegamos hasta dejar, mi marido me preguntó donde la sucursal más cercana y un joven camarero masculino sugirió que podía darme 2 niños sin gluten pizzas libres en su lugar. Este fue el único buen poco de servicio y pensamiento hemos experimentado. Bien hecho ese hombre! Mi hijo y yo recibimos nuestros platos principales y resulta que la camarera había olvidado de pedir la pizza de mi marido. Esto llegamos después otros 10 minutos. Cuando nos dieron la factura fui a pagar - £40 fichas de tarjeta del club de Tesco y 45 libras en efectivo. La camarera me aconsejó no aceptaban vales Tesco. Me aconsejó que el restaurante no estaba en la lista de restaurantes ignorados así que finalmente nos fuimos a ver con su gerente y recomienda que, ya que habíamos hecho un desastre tal de nuestro pedido aceptarían ellos en esta ocasión. No me impresionó mucho y por suerte como yo vivo en Edimburgo no necesito volver. El peor servicio de todos en el Pizza Express - aunque la comida estaba muy bien.
